Team leaders can then modify staffing as necessary to cover absences.\n\nUsers can set custom working day configurations and public holidays in absence.io, and adjust these for the whole company, teams, or individual employees. Residual leave is automatically calculated when leave is booked, and users can define rules to allow it to rollover at end-of-year, or set expiration dates after which the allowance is lost.
