Zapier the best application integrator
Reviewed on 2021/12/20
As a digital marketer, I use many applications that I cannot keep an eye on all day or manually pass information from one application to another and I also need all the data to be synchronized. Zapier makes my day easier, connecting the applications that I use, it executes tasks automatically according to the rules that I establish. I love it helps me save a lot of time and money by hiring programmers.
Pros
Zapier changed the way I deal with applications and tasks. What I liked the most is the automation of work processes, another of its advantages is that Zapier includes a large list of applications to connect. Also that the Zaps are only executed with a filter rules. The user interface is nice so that anyone with basic knowledge can use it without the need to hire a programmer.
Cons
The negative aspects of Zapier is that at the beginning it is difficult to take advantage of Zapier, due to the learning curve, the free version is very limited (the number of 'Zaps and applications), also something that I did not like is the customer support that sometimes does not provide solutions.

Automate everything with Zapier
Reviewed on 2023/02/10
I've been using Zapier for a few months now to automate some of my business processes, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer for me. One of the things I love about Zapier is its flexibility. With its vast library of apps and tools, I've been able to create custom workflows that fit my unique needs. For example, I have a workflow that automatically adds new leads to my CRM when someone fills out a form on my website. With Zapier, I was able to easily connect my website form to my CRM, and now I don't have to manually add leads to my system anymore. This has saved me a lot of time and effort, and has helped me stay on top of my leads more effectively.Another thing I love about Zapier is its user-friendly interface. Even though I'm not a technical expert, I was able to set up my workflows without any issues. And if I ever do run into a problem, their support team is always quick to respond and help me out.One potential downside of Zapier for me is the cost. I'm currently on a paid plan, which can be a bit pricey for a small business like mine. However, the benefits I've received from using Zapier have more than made up for the cost in terms of increased efficiency and productivity.Overall, I would highly recommend Zapier to anyone looking to streamline their business processes and automate repetitive tasks. It's an incredibly powerful tool that can help businesses of all sizes save time, reduce errors, and improve their workflows.
Pros
Zapier offers several key benefits to its users, including:Automation: Zapier's core functionality is its ability to automate workflows and integrate different apps and tools. This can save users significant time and effort, reduce errors, and improve productivity.Flexibility: Zapier provides a vast library of apps and tools that users can easily integrate into their workflows, allowing them to tailor their automations to their specific needs.User-friendly interface: Zapier's user interface is intuitive and easy to use, making it accessible to both technical and non-technical users.Customizability: Zapier allows users to customize their workflows in a variety of ways, including through the use of filters, actions, and triggers, giving users complete control over their automations.Reliability: Zapier is a highly reliable platform that rarely experiences downtime, ensuring that users can count on their automations running smoothly and consistently.
Cons
Cost: While Zapier does offer a free plan, it can be quite limited in terms of the number of automations and tasks that can be run. Upgrading to a paid plan can be expensive for some users, especially for small businesses or individuals.Limited functionality: Although Zapier supports a wide range of apps and tools, there may be some functionalities or features that are not available or that are limited in their capabilities.Reliance on third-party apps: Zapier's integrations rely on third-party apps, which can sometimes result in issues with compatibility, reliability, or security.Learning curve: Although Zapier's user interface is user-friendly, there can be a learning curve for new users to understand the platform's features and functionality.

Works great, but it's super expensive and there are cheaper options out there
Reviewed on 2023/02/11
After trying Zapier during its trial period, I decided to cancel my subscription and switch to a cheaper option. Despite its popularity, I found the high cost of Zapier to be a significant drawback, and I was not willing to pay such a premium for its services. I ultimately went with a different integration platform that offered more features for a fraction of the cost, and I have been very satisfied with my decision. The new platform has met all of my integration needs, and I have not experienced any issues with its functionality or performance. Overall, I am glad that I made the switch, as I have been able to save a significant amount of money while still getting the results I need.
Pros
Zapier is an exceptional integration platform that streamlines the process of connecting various web applications. It's a powerful tool that helps businesses automate tedious and repetitive tasks, freeing up time and resources for more important work. One of the standout features of Zapier is its ability to integrate with nearly every solution on the market. Whether it's a productivity app, a customer relationship management (CRM) tool, or a financial management platform, Zapier has you covered. This makes it an indispensable tool for businesses of all sizes, as it allows them to bring all of their favorite tools together in one place.Another great thing about Zapier is how quickly it works. Setting up integrations is a breeze, and once they're up and running, they work seamlessly in the background. This is crucial for businesses that rely on timely and accurate data to make informed decisions, as it eliminates the need for manual data entry and reduces the risk of human error.
Cons
Compared to other integration platforms on the market, Zapier is significantly more expensive, and for many businesses (especially solo's like me), this can be a major drawback. There are many other solutions available that offer much more for a lot less money, and this can be a tough pill to swallow for those who are looking for an affordable solution to their integration needs.

Essential to get softwares talking & automation
Reviewed on 2023/02/05
It's relatively easy to use - I'm a mid-level tech type person, not a pro by any means but I usually can figure things out quickly - this software has a small learning curve but not prohibitive. The main thing is figuring out which zap you need to solve your problem, once you've done that, hooking it up and getting it to work is easy. I've used it for connecting teachable to mailerlite, and for automating certificates when courses are completed, I've also used it for auto-adding leads from FB and TikTok ads.
Pros
It gets my various sites / softwares / platforms talking to each other which means less work for me day to day, I do feel like I'm not using it to it's full capacity but what I do use it for is time-saving and instant.
Cons
I've had trouble with trying to GROUP zaps and have some sort of hierarchy - I still haven't figured that out which bugs me. Whether it's possible to have an 'if this' then 'that' zap, or if not this doesn't fire.. I've been to support about it but not found a solution for my problem. This is in regards to partnering with teachable and having a multi-course bundle fire as ONE membership enrolment. Still searching.

Zapier API Integration Review
Reviewed on 2023/02/06
Zapier is the first integration tool anyone wanting to do workflows thinks about, I think its great and we've never had a negative experience with.I think it has some limitations and may not be suitable for all use cases, especially more complex integrations that require advanced capabilities.
Pros
The simplicity of it is almost like a no-code workflow, you can connect various applications and services and automate repetitive tasks, you can also continuously add new integrations and capabilities which is a huge plus.
Cons
I think complexity, there are a lot of tools that are starting to do the same, I mentioned Merge Dev, but in terms of handling complexity, its still good, but there are several tools starting to pop up for your exact needs.

Zapier

Pros
We used to spend a lot of time and resources manually capturing and sorting leads from marketing activities and promotions. We found Zapier to be the perfect solution to this problem, eliminating the need for manual sorting. Now, as soon as a lead is received, it is automatically added to the corresponding CRM campaign, and CRM then takes the appropriate steps based on the lead's behaviour. This has enabled us to move leads to campaigns designed to increase conversions, without needing to put in any additional effort. Zapier manages all of this for us.
Cons
I haven't found anything I don't like about Zapier, but I always want more features.

Zapier makes creating integrations fast and easy
Reviewed on 2020/10/06
There's no secret to use Zapier, all you need to is to play with it, follow simple steps the interface tells you to or read the documentation (that's very abundant). The most recent thing I've learned was to use webhooks and use Zapier to get ou send information directly to apps API. It solves most of the issues I mentioned prior.
Pros
Zapier changed the way I deal with apps and tasks. Now everything I need to accomplish I ask myself: is it possible to use Zapier to make this easier or even totally automated? From simple things like sending happy birthday emails to my clients, to connecting a ERP app with Google Spreadsheets, there's hundreds of apps with thousands of possible combinations possible to make our lives easier.
Cons
Since they revamped the interface for creating and managing Zaps, there's not really anything that I don't like about Zapier. If worth mentioning something, it would be the missing actions, triggers or sometimes apps to integrate, but that's not Zapier's fault, because it depends of the apps making their services available on Zapier. Some apps like Wrike sell their own automating app, so they don't offer many choices inside Zapier. Others like RD Station Marketing lack of possibilities in their own API, so it's not possible to do much too.

Zapier - Connect "All the Things"

If you can dream of the process, and the tools are integrated into Zapier, you can likely connect it and automate it.

Pros
I wish i could give Zapier more than 5 stars in the "Ease of use" category, as it is incredibly easy for anyone to setup the communication between 2 cloud services. On top of that, there are plenty of options to choose from as they support ALL the big names and a lot of small ones.

Pros
To say that Zapier is easy to use seems almost like an understatement. You will feel like a tech wiz after you set up complex email automation with a few clicks! And it's shocking how much power you get at the free level.

The BEST tool out there for automation & sending data ... wherever! :)
Reviewed on 2018/03/06
For data-driven businesses who use a large number of SaaS products .. or any software with an API really...which is... I would hope all of them... ;) , Zapier is an absolute no-brainer. Never again (when selecting new software to purchase) do we have to worry "Oh, well it doesn't integrate with {{insertOtherSoftwareHere}}, so we can't use it until their dev teams builds it for us". You have full control over what data goes where, how it should be formatted, and all the tools you need to test & optimize that "data transport" over time. Further, the automation possibilities are nearly endless.
Want to kick-off an email whenever someone completes a training-video on your site? (without having to rely on client-side javascript tagging): easy with zapier.
Want to test out a new e-commerce solution, but don't want to deal with having two sources of product-fulfillment? easy, just send the order data to your existing ecom platform with zapier, and centralize all the fulfillment there.
the possibilities are infinite, it just comes down to having at least one person who is savvy with either Javascript (Node.js) or Python if you want to do more "custom" things beyond the built-in apps (which ... is still a lot).
Can't recommend enough.
Pros
1. highly flexible & customizable: if they don't have a pre-built integration with a tool you use, you can easily build your own using their built-in webhook, webhook listeners, and "code" blocks. does require a bit of coding experience, but once you or your team build a few things / experiment & figure it out.. it's an absolute game-changer.
2. you'll think "what would i do without this?" ... that's the hallmark of a great software, and Zapier is without a doubt one of the top 3 most important tools for our business. if you want to be data-driven, the first step is getting the right data to the right places. Zapier enables you to do that EASILY.
3. reliable. i've only had about 2 - 3 "outages" in my zaps since i started using the tool, and they were all due to edge-cases that my custom-code steps didn't handle properly. Zapier gives you a nice debugging / testing interface and allows you to search back through every single "zap" that your account has sent over time... and step through them to sort out what the issue might be.
Cons
1. pulling in "test data" when building zaps - this is one thing that really annoys me... when you're creating a new Zap, and Zapier is "testing the step" that you just set up, it only pulls the most recent "event" that matches what you're doing. Now, this is OK in most cases, but if you have a zap that needs to handle a few different situations "conditionally" ... then it stinks. for example, say you want to build a zap that sends your sales team an email every-time a Stripe charge of over is processed. Well, if the most recent charge in Stripe (or the most recent 3 or 4, etc.) are all lower than, then your test will fail. That's a very contrived example, but ideally, Zapier would allow you to search through past events for the app that you're trying to "zap from", and CHOOSE the appropriate test event.
Minor gripe mainly will only impact those who want to build more complex/complicated zaps.

Zapier adds value to all of my other software by putting the polish on all of my web-based...
Reviewed on 2017/08/08
We use several SAAS solutions in our day-to-day operations. Zapier is the glue that holds it all together. The automation that we've been able to implement through Zapier is what gives the impression of a slick, unified system. It has allowed us to continue improving by using the best features from a wide array of software to build a customized system that works the way we want it to without having to enlist our own team of developers.
I used to run into roadblocks with software and think, "Gee, I wish I could just..." With Zapier, I actually can.
Pros
Zapier is exceptionally easy to use. I started by playing around with a few of the hundreds of suggested Zaps, but it didn't take long to get the gist and start building from scratch.
I use Zapier to send automated emails triggered by software that either doesn't offer that option natively or doesn't give me as much customization as I want. The result has been increased communication coming out of my office with far less time commitment to make it happen. With budgets what they are these days, I'm constantly being asked to do more with less. Zapier has made that possible.
Another unexpected plus is that I've discovered other great software through Zapier.
I've got a favorite relational database. I've got a favorite web form. I've got a favorite workflow system when I need input from others. Zapier has allowed me to tie all of those together without having to compromise so I can take advantage of the best features of all of them. Because I don't have to intervene manually, there's no duplicate data entry so errors are minimized as well.
Zapier saves me time every day.
Cons
Multi-step Zaps are great, but conditional Zaps would help me stay more organized. Right now, Zapier doesn't offer that so I end up with three separate Zaps that each have a unique filter, rather than one conditional Zap that can route to different steps based on variable input.
So far, I've always been able to find a work around. It's like having a 2000-piece Lego set, but not having the exact piece you want. You can still build your house, and it will be amazing, but it would have saved you a few steps if you just had that one more piece.

Zapier is the tape the holds everything together
Reviewed on 2022/02/22
As a business owner of a small company, I consider myself the boss, implementor, and janitor of all of our online systems. It is always me, and me alone dreaming up ways I can implement Zapier to make our company run more efficiently. It is also always me cleaning and fixing everything that breaks.
I mentioned in my title that Zapier is the tape that holds everything together. I don't know how my business could operate without Zapier, but I also know, thetape is not indefinitely secure.
With roughly 15 complex automation that each has over 10 triggers/actions, I need to maintain at least one automation every month. This is not a huge deal, but when Zapier is the highway for all applications, it can be tedious to clean up the messes and identify what was missed while things were down.
Having said that, this con is well worth the pros. If I hired a developer to custom code each automation I have, I am guessing the total cost would be well into the 5-figures (USD), and then hundreds a month to maintain it. So Zapier is well worth the cost.
I have used Zapier for over five years, and I can confidently say my capabilities grow every time I dream up a new implementation. I am not a coder, but I am tech literate. I can follow basic tutorials, pull information from community forums, and modify it to what I need. But the second I need custom code that I can't copy/paste, I am forced to ask for help. With my experience level, I can set up some pretty impressive things to Zap.
Pros
With the number of software integrations, Zapier is almost as limitless as your imagination. The support network, community forums, and Youtube videos allow for one with no experience to implement some pretty powerful integrations quickly. The support is great, and will sometimes help fix your problem, and always show you where to look.
Overall, the more advanced you are with regards to coding or following tutorials, the more you are able to do with Zapier.
Cons
Support is hit or miss, with regards to someone holding your hand. Don't get me wrong, I am always satisfied with the support, but sometimes they go above and beyond, and other times, they just give you enough information to help you diagnose the problem.
Their website is odd whenever you are logged in. If I open a new window, sometimes I need to login again.

Best way to make the connection
Reviewed on 2019/07/16
Overall, Zapier is just a life and time saver! Software companies are popping up every day, often with no regard to how a customer may specifically need it to work with another software. Without Zapier, some functions may need manual attention that very small businesses simply cannot afford to spend the time to give.
Zapier is a must have for any business, big or small.
Pros
With so much technology being created to make our lives easier, speedbumps can occur when these applications can't seamlessly communicate with each other. Here's where Zapier comes in. This might be the single most important element of my business flow. Zapier is the liaison for all of apps and software, enabling them to talk and connect with each other in ways that, perhaps, they didn't intend.
For example, in my business, we offer a booklet that customers can purchase with add-ons. We do not print the books ourselves; we use a print-on-demand service, so we need the orders sent to that company when they come in. The print company can't connect to our order form, and who has the time to send orders that may come in round the clock, one by one to a fulfillment plant?
Zapier enables us to connect our order form to Gmail so that when the orders come in, an email of the order specifications are automatically sent to the fulfillment company where they can print the book and ship it to our customer.
See? Zapier make life so much easier!
Cons
Although it's fairly user-friendly, setting up a "Zap" (a connection from one software to another, or many others) takes lots of tests with lots of trial and error. This is not necessarily a "con", as most things require tests and are not just "plug-and-play." But I'd advise anyone, especially newcomers to this great software, to count on spending some time to get it right, because it will require quite some time to perfect.

A powerfull door opener
Reviewed on 2019/12/03
Encountering and getting to use Zapier really was an enlightening experience. There have been a lot of occasions on which I run into a wall before I knew about Zaps. Although it might scare of some people on the more sceptical side I must say, I am a convinced and excessive user of Zaps and would recommend anyone who is considering tools to look for Zapier integration and check which additional doors this opens. Definite recommendation.
Pros
whenever we evaluate a product for use, be it internally, be it for use with a customer or a team wether or not it is integrated with Zapier has made a great difference. Zapier manages to open the door for many many tools we would not have considered as standalone solutions, but with Zapiers easy and quick integration we are able to combine best-of-breed tools into robust, custom-tailored, specific, effective solutions for scenarios and - most often - also solve side cases in the same run.
ZAier makes it easy to connect Applications on API basis and actually makes the "lets make tool A talk to tool B whenever C happens" reality. Also, there are already many so called "Zaps" (integrations between applications) in place that fit many common usecases. For example - I can create the Stub for an Offer in my accounting solution automatically whenever I move an Opportunity in the sales-pipeline to the "offer" stage. Things like this save time every day and this is just one example. I would call an existing Zapier Integration critical for my tool selection and recommendation process.
Cons
The subscription modell of Zapier is sometimes somewhat tricky. Most often it is recommendable to start with a number of Zaps that are free in a certain timeframe. Thex are limited by the latency and overal number they are applicable, lets say per day. Sadly there is no fallback, such as when an experimental Zap really takes off and is required to go live asap I have been debuging for extended ammounts of time before I understood, that latency issues might be caused by my subscription choice. I wouldn't complain about the cost of zaps, as Cost is actually beneficial because it makes you think wether or not a Zap really is worth it or not.

Powerful, intuitive platform that returns your valuable time by automating tasks
Reviewed on 2018/11/14
Overall, we've had a great experience with Zapier. As a small company, any time saved by automating manual tasks is incredibly valuable, and Zapier has saved us hours upon hours of time by automatically moving new files from one location to another, automatically updating spreadsheets upon form submissions, automatically tweeting something following a new blog post, and lots more. I've personally used Zapier for almost 6 years now and I've found it to be incredibly valuable.
Pros
Zapier's two most powerful attributes are the platform's ease of use, combined with the number of products & services they've integrated. Zapier's workflow for creating "zaps" (automations) is incredibly intuitive; you start with the "trigger" step, then end with the "action" step. Given the number of services that they've integrated with, the possible combinations are almost endless. We've used Zapier to automate a number of tasks & workflows at our organization, and it's saved us a tremendous amount of time.
Cons
Zapier's mission to integrate as many different services as possible has added a tremendous amount of value to their offering, however a side effect of this strategy is that occasionally, some of their integrations can be rather shallow. In other words, for products and services that aren't used by a significantly large number of users, Zapier might only offer 3 "trigger" options out of a possible 5, which can be very problematic if you need one of those missing two triggers in order to start your workflow.

A Fantastic Software that Simplifies Complicated Automation
Reviewed on 2021/09/03
Zapier is awesome, and it works well for everyday use. It breaks down complicated concepts into simple steps and I was able to use the software as someone who is often confused using technology. One improvement would be to decrease the number of webpage redirects so that I wouldn't have to look in another place besides the dashboard to set up my "zap."
Pros
I did not even know that something like Zapier existed until I was looking for a platform that could automate my work on Trello. I initially believed that maybe Trello had an automation feature, but I was disappointed to find out it did not. Instead, I found Zapier. I was initially confused on how Zapier would help me automate and I was worried that it would be difficult and technical. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was! I love the layout of the software, and the explanations behind each step are easy and seamless to set up between platforms. I am happy that I was able to automate some of my work on Trello and customize each "zap" to do exactly what I want. I'm disappointed that I did not find out about this software sooner!
Cons
Something that confused me about this software was that it seemed like there were different instructions in different places on the site depending on what I wanted to do. For example, I wanted to create a "Zap" so that when a new card was created on Trello, I would receive an email about it. When I tried to set this up, however, Zapier led me to another webpage that was specifically made for doing this task. I just don't understand why there would be a special platform just for this task, and why I was unable to do it myself through the dashboard.

Great features. A little overpriced compared to the competition.
Reviewed on 2022/06/21
Great, but there are better options out there.
Pros
Zapier has a great ecosystem of integrated apps. It's also very easy to use. You can set up an automation in minutes.
Cons
Zapier is overpriced in my opinion. Not because of what it can do, but because of what its competition can offer for less money. I started with Zapier, but have transitioned 95% of my workflows to Make, as it is way cheaper for my needs, doesn't have the same limitations on conditional flows, etc. and is way easier to visualize workflows in my opinion.
The lower tier subscription options lack important features, but the price jump is hard to justify.
I find the UI to be difficult to use compared to Make. It is not good for visualizing workflows and seems to have gotten worse with the latest updates.

Great tool for automation without any coding!
Reviewed on 2022/09/03
Zapier has been an integral part of our workflow. We use the free version and within the limits, we have managed to perfect a lot of our tasks without undue manual labor or coding.
Pros
- We shifted from IFTTT to Zapier due to the sheer amount of options it offers for integrations.
- Be automated notifications, or syndication of social media posts, we use Zapier everywhere to cut out the middlemen.
- We used to have a separate employee whose whole purpose was to syndicate posts and send email notifications and updates. Thanks to Zapier, we have been able to optimize our workflow efficiently.
- We have about 12 integrations running from Woocommerce to Mailchimp, there is no integration that Zapier doesn't offer.
- Its completely free up to a point, so you can integrate it into your workflow and test your setup.
- It is robust and I don't think the competition comes any closer.
Cons
- The biggest con is the price. It is expensive, especially for a small business like us where cost matters a lot. The competition isn't any closer and so they are able to take advantage of their position.
- The interface is extremely difficult for newcomers, I still haven't figured a few functions out.

Can't Live Without It!!! So Powerful!
Reviewed on 2019/12/10
SUPER FREAKING AWESOME SUPPORT! They reply and are super helpful, and allowed me to take advantage of the new pricing after I upgraded on the old pricing, they give you details on any errors, and every single time an error has come from the outside source or myself and not Zapier. So worth it!
Pros
Wow, I don't know why I avoided Zapier for years before this, but I don't know how to live without it, and infact there is no way I could. It does so much powerful work behind the scenes sending data everywhere I need it to go with such ease that I would spend way more than I could afford in time or money paying the staff to do it manually. Also, they just improved their pricing and zap time, so I have sped up the process, reduced my costs, and increased to unlimited zaps which is powerful. Can't have a limit.
Cons
Well I didn't like the cost as first, but when calculating what you save in time or having to pay a VA to do the work, Zapier is a no brainer. Then they dropped the cost and pricing and improved the speed transfer time, so going from 15 minutes to 2 minutes is massively important and necessary. We are converting and calculating faster and more efficently.... So not a thing I don't like about it either.
