Ad Building Magic

Pros

Celtra adopts the best features found in popular creative editing suites, allowing for an intuitive learning experience with a very small learning curve. The Support team is by far and away the best support staff that I've had assist me with a creative editing tool. Not only do they provide insightful feedback quickly, they go above and beyond in applying new thinking and functionality to our ad builds and ideas.

Cons

There are a few things, such as font uploader and discrepancies between the ad builder to and how it renders in the preview environment, but nothing that would impact my recommendation of the software.

Creating and trafficking HTML 5 Rich Media ads and Interactive Video ads in the Celtra platform is easy to learn and cuts our ad building time in half. Our designers are able to turnaround campaigns to the client in half the time that it used to when we had to build everything using a code editor. Having access to all the latest components gives our designers and developers to option to create anything from a simple animated banner to a complex interactive ad experience.

Pros

Celtra's CMP provide's powerful tools and components for building Rich Media and Interactive video ad units. They listen to their clients and upgrade their features regularly to put the proper tools in front of designers and developers, enabling them to create striking ads for all devices.

Cons

Celtra sometimes seems late to the game for everything else, other than Rich Media formats. They were late to provide a powerful VPAID builder, lack of a builder for most Social Media platforms, no support to Amazon or YouTube.

Only creative building but not much supporting operations people in reporting, setting up placements, bulk uploading etc, which really consume productive time.

Pros

UI & certain functions are really good.

Cons

Reporting & copy feature.
When I copy a placement it just remove all the check boxes selected tracking check boxes.
You can't put mixed reporting matrices and always get discrepancy with celtra creatives.

My experience has been good. The application is really intuitive, the documentation is good.

Pros

it's very stable. You always make improvements. The preview side is in most of the cases exact. So you don't need to do a lot of test.

Cons

It's not too flexible. Some components need an improvement, such as: add radial gradient to the shapes, responsive image for the 360 view component. More availability of fonts. The swipe component I think that need to be more flexible.

Need to add more real world example of the JS documentation.

In the beginning to learn the responsive of the unit is really difficult. nor with the examples becomes simple. In the end with experience with responsive it is still difficult in some cases to fix elements.

Pros

I like the super robust reporting capabilities and ease of use for showing example creatives. Being able to customize the reporting is great.

Cons

I need more information on reporting capabilities and what certain things mean. Like, how exactly are you counting engagement rate? What is considered a video view (at how many seconds?) and things like that- maybe a quick cheat sheet?

Also, you can't use your web browser buttons to navigate through the platform

I love that Celtra is constantly updating and improving upon their platform. I also love that my comments and suggestions are heard and sometimes are implemented into the platform.

Cons

Sometimes the UI of the dashboard is too cluttered, and sometimes there are glitches in the platform.

For me as a presenter, I like how I can show the responsive design of our products, the look and feel of a live ad experience and easily share creative examples to my potential clients. This to me is solving any business problems I might have.

Pros

As a seller, I have Celtra bookmarked and ready so when I am in a meeting and need to call up an example that I didn't plan for, I can easily search and present an example directly from the dashboard.

Cons

Perhaps this is an issue with our license but I would like it if the dashboard was more customized to our branding. Sometimes the search in the categories doesn't yield results that I know are there, though this could be a tagging issue on our end too.

• Flexible UI
• Lot of options to explore
• Custom code option to add in our custom features
• Events link Before Appear, First Appear, Appear are easier to execute specific functions
• Reset option is very useful while doing custom games
• They keep adding up new features day by day
• Timeline helps designers to get adapted easily
• Great customer support
• Easy to copy creatives from one to another. Even to different accounts
• Report generation UI gives multiple options so that you can generate the report based on your requirement
• Multiple phases to add the trackers helps when we run the same creative in multiple placements

Cons

• Working with responsive layout is a bit difficult to understand for the beginners
• Copying the creative can be faster. As of now it takes more time to list the campaigns in the dropdown
• Showing a warning/alert when the CSV format is wrong for the locator component
• Selection of custom attributes while creating a campaign can be made automatic based on what features it has and based on the countries we choose. There are multiple categories and it gets confused every time. Also sending an email when there is a change will be easier to understand.

This tool has made our ability to create and serve campaigns a million times easier and more effective, and creating reports is just as simple and intuitive.

Pros

Celtra's breadth of features makes it the obvious go-to for the needs of our in-house creative team. Our need for quick turnaround, multi-format creative builds requires a platform that can delivery quality features and accuracy every time, and Celtra fits the bill.

Cons

There's really no part of the platform I think needs work, and the constant updates and feature roll-outs make it the most cutting edge ad builder we use.

Pros

Celtra offers a wide variety of component, creative, and animation options that make creating custom creative very straight forward and effective. The platform is expertly designed from a UI standpoint with a quick learning curve.

Cons

While Celtra offers an API to use custom javascript, there is room for improvement. Many of the components only offer one or two methods for granular control, which results in the user having to use external libraries or components to accomplish what could easily be done with their existing components. Celtra should expand it's documentation to cater more to the audience of users that are skilled in custom development .

Pros

Intuitive and easy to use interface that only requires a browser. The builder is far more advanced than similar offerings in the space. The responsiveness of the whole cloud platform is very impressive.

Cons

Online only, no offline building. If there are connection issues, you are unable to build an ad. Interface is still a bit cluttered despite recent improvements. Code editor is basic and only offers a view of specific instances of JS injection without away to browse the code as a whole. You have to click around a bunch of get into other nested instances. The code editor doesn't have a find and replace option either.

Native interface support for .SVG, advanced shapes, CSS3 filters etc would be nice.

Pros

Celtra has the best platform for creative builder and networking. It's so easy to use. Their trafficing and reporting tools are excellent.

Cons

They should have one tag for different inventory.

Our campaigns have great success along modern design with widgets provided by Celtra. Clients love the Conditionals used in the creatives, it's a big benefit for them to know what are the best part of their publicity and what can the improve, this, is a plus for our company.

Overall, Celtra is an easy to use platform where I am able to traffic out custom creative with ease. Reporting is detailed and I am able to pull the metrics I need, my only real complaint is not exactly understanding what each metric means in the reporting system in reference to my creative.

Pros

I really like that they website is always functioning, I never get error messages or link breaks when making my creative. The interface is easy to use and I was able to figure out how to generate creative easily. Reporting is detailed and I am able to pull metrics that I need.

Cons

The reporting system can be confusing. There are different labels that I don't understand what they mean. For example, there are "inline video starts" and "inline video plays". I don't understand what the difference between the two are. I would love to see a reporting system that is more explanatory so I understand what each metric and number means within reporting.

Best Custom Ad Software on the Market

Pros

Celtra is the best of all the platforms I've used at the various publishers I've worked at.
The UI is very smooth and easy to use. Customer support is also very quick and responsive which helps when we're working under tight deadlines. Discrepancies aren't huge and even the ad editor is pretty intuitive.

Cons

I think the reporting functions are great in terms of how many metrics you can gather. However, pulling these reports can take a very long time. It would be best if there were shorter wait times for reporting.

Pros

As a designer, I can focus more on creating an enticing creative and focus less on the backend. It's easy to use and learn. The support is responsive and makes it easy to work with! Allows our company to be innovative on the creative end!

Cons

Limitation on masking on layers. Other than that, I don't have any issues with Celtra.

Pros

Their Creative builder is excellent. Trafficking quality that is the same creative can be shared with the different publisher with the different placement and all can be reported nicely via their reporting systems.

Cons

Why can not the same trafficing code be used in differen inventory?
