I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts regarding my recent experience with GloFox.

While I appreciate the friendly demeanor of the staff, I have unfortunately encountered significant challenges with support from both the staff and management. We were charged $1,500 despite not being fully onboarded due to ongoing software issues. It appears that the contract primarily serves to protect GloFox from customer dissatisfaction and the implications of its practices.

I feel that management prioritizes financial gain over customer satisfaction, which has impacted my overall experience. I believe there is an opportunity for improvement in how customer concerns are addressed.

Thank you for considering this feedback.

Other solutions such as Mindbody, Acuity, and Vagaro offered the features GloFox lacked but we did not discover these missing features until we signed a 3-month contract.

Spend more time than you think you need with the sales staff before committing. Software may work for a ton of companies but if you have a unique use case then ask every question you have before signing anything and make them demo everything before signing. They will not let you out of the contract even when they realize they will not be able to serve your needs. $1500 wasted.

Pros

User Interface works nice and the idea of the app is nice too but other companies exceed them on both features.

Cons

Basic booking features are missing and management cares more about holding you in a contract than doing the right thing. We did not onboard a single member onto this platform once we realized it was not the right solution. We have gone to Mindbody and are completely satisfied with their services.

Super easy end-user experience. Owner dashboard also pretty simple to use. Onboarding has been very smooth with quick bespoke app developed.

Cons

App showing 4 weeks in advance (as per settings), web portal showing 2 and half months in advance. Struggling with support to fix it.

I’ll be honest I found Glofox itself a bit rocky, as from the start I felt very miss sold however, Louise restored to faith in the company.

Cons

The hidden fees throughout from the cost not including VAT to the costs associated with amplify and so on.

I like how quickly [sensitive content hidden] would respond and get back to me! Being in higher ed, we can get busy really fast once the semester has started, [sensitive content hidden] did a great job of checking in and making sure we have everything we need.

Cons

The timing of receiving our product was not the best due to the semester starting but overall, it was nice have a great support team.

This is the first gym management tool we have used, so I can't compare to past experiences. But Glofox is not robust, they are not solving the problems, and I kinda regret having chosen them.Very important point: integration with 3rd parties (such as mailchimp) is not good, and as they are developing their own thing, it will never be.

Pros

We like the user front end, the way it looks in our web. Not the best UX though, only one customer has been able to find how to cancel a class. The rest just report "I can't cancel".

Cons

Language bugs all around (we use spanish front end) , all reported, barely fixed so far. A lot of hard coded stuff we can't fix using the tool they provide for custom copy. A lot of copy edit was needed for spanish.Many bugs found and reported, also suggestions for UX we have made... they may just be focused in that new service "amplify" and now finishing the core product.

I liked working with [sensitive content hidden] best, I really appreciated how quickly the GloFox team moves and how much they checked in on me during the process.

Cons

I think the emails/ notes should be custom to your brand, not glofox, it's very confusing to receive an email with all the glofox branding but it's from my business.

We had issues with customers not approving payments. Customers received their purchase but we didn't receive payment! I flagged this with Glofox (it was a software flaw), they basically said tough sh*t. The customer support is useless, the software is constantly glitching.
Disgrace don't go near them,

Glofox has incredibly helped me with customer retention, wining client trust, easiness for booking management, yearly accounts. Glofox has been the best tool for my studio; like having a receptionist and accountant at the same time.

The sale method from [sensitive content hidden]. Genuinely he provided an in-depth, no question too small or big experience. The app is strong, it provides every service I need to run a business without the stress. Come lease signature glofox will be used in every aspect of the company.

Horrible customer service. Sold my gym in February 2023 and was charged extra payments of $1,239 in May, August and October. The June payment they got me on a technicality saying that I needed to give 30days notice before the next 3 month instalment was due. (I gave 23days). They charge you in 3 month blocks whether you are using the product of not.

They then charged me again in October even after they said they would not charge me again

Its not a cheap service, and especially expensive when you haven't used it for 8months and are still getting charged.

Operating system isnt that good to put up with the rude staff and poor customer service

Would NOT recommend.

Operating system was average. Better user experiences for a lot less

Cons

I got charged for 8 months after I sold my gym. Horrible T&C's with are very unrealistic in todays environment. Extra 3x $1,239 charged without warning

Pros

Nothing, it's an over-sold disaster. Make sure you negotiate, negotiate, negotiate the price. Their list price is ridiculous and it's like dealing with a used are salesperson.

Everything, nothing they promised is what it seems. I can't wait to move on from them.
