This platform gives me a wide range of features and tools that help me engage my audience in a meaningful way and I was able to set up real-time polls, allow attendees to connect.

I was mostly a website user and did not like the features of the website builder. It was not intuitive nor was it easy to do basic website functions. the design was limiting and there was strange rules

Pros

Great for setting up tickets for different events and great for managing different events at the same time

Cons

The website builder is extremely limited unless you do custom coding

Overall it's been great. I am on our events team and we have had such an elevated check in process since we switched to Bizzabo at the very start of 2020. Yes, we signed the contract in February 2020 right before in person events went on hold. There have been times with software switches that have been challenging for us but after looking at other like products have decided to stay with Bizzabo.

Pros

When it works, the name badge printing and easy on the spot ability to change a registrants entry information is IMO the most valuable part of Bizzabo.

Cons

I wish that adding tags to a registrant or block of registrants was more streamlined, it's fine for a small event of 50 or less but with large events, adding specific tags to a block of people is very clunky.

Generally easy to use and it looks nice for users.

Cons

On event pages it forces you to capitalise the first letter of each word in the title, which is grammatically incorrect! People also fairly frequently report a 404 error message when clicking on event pages, but this tends to resolve itself quickly.

It seems like an ok tool. I have limited experience working mainly on the design side with a marketing team for a global commercial real estate firm. The tools for marketing and ticket sales may be where the real value lies, however, I don't have much experience using that part of the platform.

Pros

I like that email marketing and event web pages are seamlessly integrated.

Cons

The website design tools are very basic and don't allow much customization without custom HTML coding.

I find the creation of events very clear and user-friendly and the fact you can add your own branded templates to then duplicate for creating future events.

Cons

I find it difficult sometimes going through multiple people when needed assistance but understand it is sometimes necessary.

Pros

Intuitive interfacer within the tool, I thought it was very easy to navigate. Also there's great documentation provided by the company around integrations.

Cons

Integration to Marketo was constantly breaking with no long term solutions from the support team despite the issue being consistent. Also, Bizzabo forms don't have contingency logic.
ex: If Country > is US then Show the State field, if not, keep State field hidden.

Pros

Creating an event is easy and still has a lot of options

Cons

That I can't download all "tickets" into a report, as easily as we can export the data to a spreadsheet, which would be useful for billing/audit purposes.

This platform to fits all of my needs for the annual conference I plan and execute. This is my 5th year using Bizzabo and I am constantly approached by the competitors, but I can plan my budget around the cost and not worry or be surprised by hidden fees and services. I will continue to be a fan of Bizzabo.

Pros

As a corporate event planner, I find this platform easy to use, has beautiful design options I can work around to make my website pop. I love the ease of use and technical support when needed. I am constantly approached by the competitors, but I can plan my budget around the cost and not worry or be surprised by hidden fees and services.

Cons

There is very little to complain about, the only thing I would love to see, is an option or link to pay later via credit card.

I am pleased with the company - we have signed on for another 2-years. I hope there are some major improvements to the streaming capabilities and polling/survey integration in the next few years that we can benefit from.

Pros

The customer service we have received is wonderful. It feels like they are ontop of helping us solve most of our problems. The price for the product also allows us to use globally without worrying about going over on usage. I like that I am not limited by log-ins which help my team to be able to all be in the platform and others within our marketing team as well.

Cons

The streaming platforms - each one is missing key features. Uploading videos, uploading a power point that allows any speaker to transition rather than just the one who uploaded. Surveys and polls not being directly in the platform almost make them useless to us - our previous platform had them pop-up right after a session which increased responses. Limitations on template features are frustrating when we are trying to create templates.

Pros

Bizzabo's robust capabilities but simple UX make it accessible for all event management teams. We are able to launch event websites in minutes by repurposing templates from past events. Their end-to-end solution means that we keep everything on one platform -- from point of sale to post-event communications and everything in between. Some of the my favorite features are are:

Agenda Capabilities: Hybrid, on demand, virtual, and in-person options that works with third party streaming

Website Builder: Drag and drop builder that also allows for HTML customization for advanced teams

Registration Management: Easy list management with Stripe integration for payments

We use Bizzabo to run our virtual and in-person events across the world.

Cons

Looking forward to platform updates in the areas of attendee networking + engagement.

My overall experience with Bizzabo has been quite positive. The platform is incredibly feature-rich, offering everything needed to create an event site and manage communications seamlessly. The downside of so many features is that it takes some time to get accustomed to the platform’s functionalities.

Pros

Bizzabo is packed with a wide range of options and features. It has everything you need to create a event site and handle all the event communications. We used it to send out invites, managing RSVPs, or keeping attendees updated.

Cons

While Bizzabo offers a ton of features and options, this can also be a bit overwhelming. Getting the hang of how everything works might take some time. Additionally, the platform can sometimes feel a bit rigid, making it tricky to customize certain aspects to fit your unique needs.

It's easy to register and view/manage registrations. Appreciate the ability to transfer, cancel, refund, and upgrade tickets with ease. Creating our own registration form is useful!

Conference Streaming and Hybrid Events

Pros

We've used Bizzabo for quite a number of years and the latest streaming platform built into the package works flawlessly. We've run hundreds of sessions and numerous concurrent streams for different conference tracks with little difficulty. The setup is straight forward and easy to use and also when working in the hybrid world easy to modify.

Cons

Would be good to be a bit more flexible on streaming times with hybrid events. Sessions don't always start on time and can drift quite a bit in a day. The 20 min post session end cut off is sometime problematic.

Each page is it's own page, it's not endless scrolling like some other event management tools are. Pages look nice.

Cons

Can’t save contact fields in a report to rerun the same report. So have to create the report each time it needs to be run.Can’t edit a list once created with contacts. Have to re-run and re-create the lists every timeDynamic lists do not work. Set criteria and re-checked and it doesn’t run correctly it is pulling canceled registrations even though I set the parameters to having a ticketChanges to page save before you even hit save and doesn’t save when you do hit save sometimes. It’s very random.Logo issue with “event logo” that pulls into random places on page and you can’t change or remove in each area it pulls into.Even though you set a schedule for an email, it keeps it in draft and makes you select send again to send which actually doesn’t make sense because you haven’t even sent itIf an email is duplicated and the email that you duplicated it from was sent to send now it automatically sends the new email as well.Had to pay a CSS contractor to do any customization to the pages. Modules and blocks weren’t very customizable.The ability to put in 2 different emails in a registration made the contact search & deletion challenging.Support did not seem very versed in functionality of the site and why unexpected behavior was happening. Support was extremely slow and it would take a few days to get answers to issues & questions. No ability to call support and no ability to email a support person directly after you had contact with him/her.

Pros

Many features can be customized to your liking and needs! Lots of functionality and improvements on the regular. I appreciate that the team genuinely does respond to suggestions made on their forum - I have seen some of mine implemented that have really benefited our events.

Cons

Sometimes I knew more about the platform than the folks I spoke to at support, having developed our own "hacks" to make it work for our needs. That said, the support team was always open to learning and as mentioned above, they have implemented some of my requested changes.

Bizzabo is an excellent event management platform that helps us to streamline the entire process of organizing and managing our events. It provides a powerful suite of features that enable users to easily create, market, and manage events from start to finish. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to use, while its robust analytics give an insight into the success of an event.

Cons

Bizzabo’s customer support could be improved as the responses can be slow at times and there have been reports of frequent bugs in the system. Additionally, some of the features are only available on the more expensive plans.

Our model is to hold in person educational events, and when they all got canceled in 2020 we needed a backup. Bizzabo was easy to learn, easy to use, and helped us get back to educating folks like we want to.

Pros

What I like most is how easy the software is to use, it is intuitive and our attendees enjoy the platform

Setting up virtual exhibit booths with workarounds, we wish there were a more straightforward option.
