Superb Customer Service. The staff is polite, prompt, and thorough.

Pros

Customer Service. When you call customer service there is virtually no wait time. I was a client of two other chiropractic software companies over the past 12 years and both companies would only allow you to leave messages when you needed tech support. Then you never knew when or if you would get a call back. With EzBis, you press 5 for customer service and someone picks up right away. If not, you have a slight hold time in the cue. All the reps are great. I highly complement Crystal on her thorough mastery of the software in regards to auto posting of EHRs. My past two software companies were bought by Chirotouch. CT then discontinues support of those platforms.

Cons

Uploading electronic claims to Emdeon is a bit cumbersome as the program asks you to review and print several reports prior to allowing the claims to be uploaded. This takes awhile to learn.

EZ Biz is the best!

Pros

It is easy to use and navigate. You can pull any report with ease and it be accurate, that saves me so much time. I have used other EMR's in the past and EZ Biz is by far the best! It is easy to use, customer service is always professional, polite, and helpful. Also, there are no long wait times when you run into any issue, which rarely happens, but when it does it is fixed ASAP. They even help train you when you hire a new employee if you need. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Cons

Maybe, sending the records to the clearinghouse, Infinedi. But it is ok, but if I had to chosse that would be what I'd say.

It has yet to be implemented by CMS. When they specify a file format for such transactions in the future (hopefully), we could then comply.

New additions cost monthly. That I can't access my system away from the office without losing my desktop.

You can absolutely access your software outside of the office without losing your desktop via an app which is assessible to you now, we also have cloud options if that is something you would prefer, but it is not required. There are also many features included in your package at no extra charge to you which you guys are not taking advantage of. Please give us a call so we can discuss this further. In looking at your account, you are paying a 3rd party company for services that EZBIS can provide you and most of those features are included in your package. You'd save a lot of money should you consider making it all in one.

EZBIS now and in the future

Pros

I believe customer service is the number one thing I value the most regarding EZBIS. We are currently working with EZBIS to implement our office soap notes electronically into the patients account within the EZBIS program so that we will be able to send them with electronic billing. EZBIS is open to new ideas and allows our office to grow and improve with the program.

Cons

I would like to see some improvements under the conditions tab. When I enter an updated diagnosis that is dated, I would like for it to automatically be applied to the patients date of service and each procedure as it relates to the corresponding date of diagnosis. As the program operates now I have to manually add the updated diagnosis to each procedure from the date of the diagnosis to present.

We are communicating with our patients easier through the helpful reminders and recalls within texting. We can easily explain a patients account because of the amazing organization within their information. We are better providers because EZ Biz takes the guessing out of the simple aspects of Chiropractic care.

Pros

I've been using this system for over 20 years and I'm always blown away by the organization, attentive customer service, and simplicity of the program.

Cons

EZ Biz is constantly growing and improving, so any complains that I've had, has already been fixed.

Cons

Report writing is "canned" software impression. I was able to customize features to the report that worked out well.

However, there are many ways in EZBIS that you can change the grammar and phrasing of the notes to match your own writing style, including the ability to dictate the notes in your own words.

Pros

In a Chiropractic office, this software is invaluable. It is very user friendly and easy to train new employees on. They certainly have the best customer service in the business, very polite and very responsive. We have been happy for decades now!

Cons

Have requested on multiple occasions now to have an update where the system will allow billing single date per claim or multiple dates per claim to run PER insurance company rather than all or nothing. It is VERY costly and VERY time consuming to find and print out EOB's when only (1) insurance company we handle needs one date per claim. This request seems fairly simple, but has yet to be addressed.

User friendly software

Pros

The ease of getting patient's medical record, and the customer services are awesome when I need the help (some of them)!

Cons

The only thing that I have challenge through out my 12 years using this program is that when I encounter a problem (which sometimes happens during my business time) I have to tell exactly what I am doing when it happens. Some of these problems happens to fast or I need to by pass it to get the patient check out or helping a patients with something they need. Tracing the steps to create the problem again is hard since I am the only one working at the front desk.

The reason we ask this is for two reasons... #1 there is more than one way to do any one task within EZBIS (remember we try to make this system friendly for all clinics) and #2 knowing what you were doing when an issue occurred helps us to quickly correct the issue. Pros

Basic functionality (like scheduling and posting charges) was pretty easy.

Cons

Financial reports are unimpressive and often lack information. Sometimes a report will provide different values if you run it twice (same criteria). Often unpaid claims aren't listed on the unpaid claims report. Customer service is mediocre. Not cloud-based.

Pros

Did pretty much everything we needed and was easy to train new staff on.

Cons

Our office does dictation soap notes and it was challenging for the doctor at times to work within the format, but ultimately it does and that is what counts.

Overall, EZBis is a very easy platform to learn, implement, and use. I have used it before in years past and just purchased the entire platform late in 2020, and I am still learning all the features. It has already begun to save me time and energy, and I know it will provide more of that the more I learn all the features. Overall, I could not be more pleased.

Pros

I love every feature of the EZBis software. The notes are easy and have every feature needed to keep accurate daily SOAP notes. I have used many software packages in the past, including PracticeSuite, ChiroTouch and many others. EZBis has the features that I enjoyed the most, and they keep upgrading and innovating via client suggestions. There are many features I still have yet to figure out, but the tutorials, manuals and trainings are extremely helpful.

Cons

The only feature I would like to see, since I know documentation necessity very well, it the ability for the EHR to have a more easily customizable combination use box for choices when writing your SOAP notes. Otherwise, I have no cons to the platform at all.

I chose EZBis because they were more economically priced that most other programs without sacrificing value and options. They also give you the choice of being cloud-based or server based, which is a great option depending on how you want to operate.

Pros

Through the years, EZBis has kept up with the newest aspects of reporting and has made it easier to maintain accurate patient records. We have been able to do away with all paper files while utilizing EZBis' software.

Cons

There are only a few features which could use a little improvement. However, those are minor details.

The Customer Service reps are EXTREMELY friendly and very helpful. Especially [sensitive content hidden]! There is no question she can't answer. She's the absolute BEST! If we have things we want that the software can't do, they are willing to submit for consideration of adding options.

I have used EZBis since 1989. I watched it change and grow. They implemented suggestions into the software fairly quickly. It's easy to use, easy to modify, easy to learn.

Cons

It has no cons. When something does need changes, I just make suggestions and the team works them in.

It's okay. I'm not about to rave to a colleague about how awesome this software is because there is a lot of room for improvement. It looks like you have everything you might need but I wonder if the speed and functionality of the software is affected by how much stuff you have in it. I would love to drop off a lot of things if I could get it to run faster.

I like that it has access to the ICD-10 codes.

Cons

1. It's too slow!!! - I sit there and click a tab and wait and watch the blue circle spin while it loads up. I had hoped to have a software that I could use in real time while a patient is in front of me but the process is too slow and cumbersome to do that so I have to write my notes later on which is not ideal.
2. There's too much- The SOAP notes program has so many features that I don't use. Maybe they are good in a super large office but not ours. I would estimate that I don't use about 60-70% of the features. Mostly because the software takes too long.
3. It's not portable- I had hoped to have a program that I could take with me from room to room so that I could do the notes in real time on a tablet or something like that. Unfortunately this isn't the case.
4. Training- I was not impressed with the in-person training session. Much of what I do on this product, I feel that I had to learn myself.

Pros

Is a complete system from the alpha to omega. Continually upgraded to the current guidelines and procedures. Billing, Insurance, EHR, EFT, chiropractic record keeping and ERA reports are on spot and very user friendly. Available on the phone and on-line with accurate responses to questions and tweaks that make the system run more efficient. Easy to train staff o, but allowing ways to monitor them.

I have had few complaints, in that I can't think of what they were.
