When Iconic LED, LLC set out to replace Quick Books with a new program we were looking for something that could keep up with the vast array of products in our inventory. We also wanted something that had functions that allowed for processing Sales Orders, Shipments and Invoicing in separate steps. After taking a look at many of the options on the market we determined that many of them met our criteria for a new program, but blew our budget by the time we implemented them.
When we discovered CentralBOS it was finally a program that was in a price point we could afford as a small growing business. It also offered all of the functionality we needed. I can say that overall CentralBOS has given us all of the features we needed and more. CentralBOS gave us exceptional customer service that going with a big expensive program would have never offered. We have a dedicated Account Representative who works so closely with us he feels like he is part of our team.
We can say that due to the way the invoices are processed we have been able to effectively speed up our receivables and can boast having more customers paying on time. We went from majority of our customers 30 days or greater past their due date to the majority paying on time with very little follow up from us. This is improving our cash flow so tremendously that we are able to put more money into hiring additional sales people and marketing.
The product could use some more automation to some of their processes. I'm still waiting for them to roll out the bank account syncing function that makes expenses easier to log.
The software advice we received was very helpful. We were given several software providers with possible solutions for our new business venture. We compared the costs and services and chose CentralBOS. We have had personal service and attention from our first phone call up through our setup and installation. CentralBOS has also been able to modify the software to meet our needs and we look forward to growing our business with their partnership.
The CentralBOS software is relatively new so it is still being developed and perfected. There have been a few delays in our implementation but nothing that would preclude me from recommending this company. They are truly great people to work with!
I like that it was really easy to learn if you just get thrown into it. I also like that notes from all partners are listed within the client so everything is in one place .
What I am having an issue with is the search function when it comes to looking for a client its either their name, their email or the company name. There is no one way to create a dashboard for just your specific clients. If they had that this would be the best CRM I work within.
Likes Best: Ease and Simplicity of the program is what we like best about the BOS program. We received great training at the start of our time with this system. It has been easy to use on a daily basis and easy to update when we need to add product line items.
Likes Least: Sometimes there are several steps to take to get to one end result that should have been a single step.
I would recommend this program to any small business that is inventorying and distributing product on a limited basis. It requires a minimum up front investment and allows for changes and upgrades that might not be so simple if you bought a software program outright.
