Pros
Onboarding is super easy. I was all set before I walked in on my first day.
Cons
Nothing offhand. I hear that there are edge cases for our HR setup at the company that GoCo has trouble handling, but they aren't major.

Pros
Go Co has an intutive and user-friendly platform. It is easy for administrators and for employees to track their time and benefits.
Cons
GoCo is not as agile with changes to the program. We could use a two-part approval process for time track and that is not available at this time.

A great fit for our small medical practice

Pros
The software is very intuitive and easy for staff to learn. The initial learning curve was very brief. Also, the implementation support was great, the GoCo implementation specialist did the behind the scenes work to set up the system to fit our practice.
Cons
The biggest two things I would like to see is some sort of communication feature where employees could make notes regarding timesheets. The other would be the ability to restrict time keeping by IP address...to make sure people are actually here when clocking in and out. These are minor and would not keep me from making the same decision to use GoCo.

We love the onboarding! It is easy for new employees to use and has helped us gather the documentation we need for team members faster and with fewer errors and missed documents!
Cons
We did a Gusto trial and that was rough for a while but has gotten much easier as of late!

I think it is very user friendly and the look itself is up to date and appealing
Cons
There seem to be, with my client and i, a lot of back and forth on correcting items after implementation.The same issues seem to arise and we are unsure where the disconnect is.

GoCo has simplified and improved HR-related team management. The interface is clean and easy to use. Overall, it's a great tool. I'd be interested in trying more of its features if my organization decides to adopt them.
Pros
As a team lead in my organization, GoCo helps me easily manage my team's PTO/Vacation time in a well-designed interface. I also enjoy having my benefits in one central location on GoCo.
Cons
There are not necessarily any features that I dislike about GoCo, although I don't think my organization is using all of the features such as the time tracking. There are a number of menus on GoCo that I simply don't use, and thus they end up being clutter.

The time off reporting is the best feature for our smaller company and also the onboarding workflows are great for our small company to remember all the things needed to onboard a new employee.

Communication between GoCo and myself improved on the Payroll Sync side. Any questions that may have arose were communicated immediately. I retired from the secondary company so I handed off those task to a new firm.
Pros
Easy to log in to clock in and clock out, look up PTO available and what is scheduled. I also perform a payroll sync Bi-Weekly which is fairly simple.
Cons
Used GoCo for a a secondary company that I was working for. Paid GoCo for a payroll sync service with a separate payroll provider service. The Payroll Sync service is being performed manually by GoCo and is not an automated between the two providers. There were issues at the beginning where sync's were not accurate or marked as being sync'd and they weren't. I tried to verify the sync's before running payroll, but the whole purpose of paying someone to do it is so you don't have to. Some issues were a breakdown in communication, some were changes to policy that needed to be updated on the initial questionnaire, other issues not so sure. Be aware that even though GoCo offers the payroll sync service it may not be automated and they manually enter the sync information.

We started using GoCo when we joined OneDigital. It's been a great partnership for us. I appreciate that GoCo includes support and not just a platform.
Pros
GoCo is a light weight HRIS platform that has a nice set of features that are perfect for our size of company (less than 35.) Benefits and open enrollment are much easier than the previous paper approach. And Goco sends the reminders, not us! Same thing with time off management and approvals. 95% of staff use it consistently and appropriately. Onboarding new hires is much easier when they can review material and benefits prior to day one.
Best of all, though, are the people. Responsive and pleasant.
Cons
I'd like to see more change control features that include explanations for why we are making a change. Did I change vacation because--someone made a mistake or because we gave someone a vacation day for performance reasons?

The system is very well built, very streamlined and simple to use. Their syncs are very helpful for efficiencies in processes throughout payroll and HR.
Cons
More integration options would be nice, but not necessary for most day to day operations.

The software itself is very straightforward and easy to use. What I like the most about GoCo is its' customer service. Extremely helpful, friendly, and fast. Highly recommended.
Cons
I like most of their functions and seldom use anything other than onboarding and PTO.
