Overall a great solution

Pros

It is very user friendly and the customers have a lot of control in their own accounts. It is fairly customizable. It can be accessed from phone, computer and tablet. It had almost every feature we needed.

Cons

It is a Canadian company so the date function works weird. You have to enter the year first and cannot manually type a date in.

So much needs to be done - main complaint is customers book even if you are full

This software is easy to use, well thought out and it has lots of features. It helps us keep track of appointments, training, grooming, etc. Love it.

Pros

Easy to use, customer service has been outstanding. In addition, they are working on upgrades and have used some of our requests to customize the experience.

Cons

There are still a few things in Beta, but they come out quickly and are well thought out and tested.

Pros

Color codes that can easily be assigned to alert staff to characteristics of both animals and human customers.

Cons

I was unable to upload my own contract for customers to sign.
Also, I emailed 3 times with questions and they were never returned, however the first phone call I made was returned within 24 hours and that was appreciated.

Should be the standard in vet care!

Pros

I have a vet friend who needed some help around the office and had recently switched to ProPet software. The staff at the office were super impressed with the software. They were able to move many of their existing tools onto the 'all-in-one' type software with ProPet.
When I played around with it, I found it incredible well built with things where you wanted them to be. It didn't take long to become familiar with the layout and the location of the items you needed. The owner really like the ability to add modules as needed (ex. boarding/daycare).

Cons

I didn't get a chance to play around with the software enough to find my own con's, but the staff complained that moving from existing systems was tough as data elements were either not aligned or not present. Therefore it took them a while to update records, which in the long run is a good thing.

Very user friendly & helps keep scheduled super organized! Love how you can text/share pictures with clients right from the app, accept payments, manage daycare/boarding schedules & activities. Keeps great track of all the dogs you interact with & their health history!

Cons

I don't really have bad things to say about this app, sometimes it freezes & refunding customers is still an issue.

I sampled many programs when looking to upgrade. ProPet has more features available then my business needs or uses, such as online reservation.
Great customer service and Tech support!!! They helped me switch over 3000 customers from my old offline kennel program onto ProPet. This would have been a HUGE headache if I had to manually input. I love so many features on this program!! Ability to login for each employee and being able to set access limits if needed. Go to a "Customer Overview" and see what they owe or if they have credit as well as pet information at a glance is great!

Pros

Easy to use, intuitive, even if you had been using another program.

Cons

We have found using a calendar when doing date of birth and vaccinations is our least favorite feature, it would be easier to just type in the date. Example: 10/5/18. The calendar style works well for check in/out.

Pros

The overall look of the software looks great. Some software designs are very out-dated so it's nice to see a fresh design - especially if you are looking at it each day. The support team are great. Ease of use is pretty straight forward. The support team is always quick to reply their email. The overall look of the software looks great. Cons

The app is rubbish - you can do so little on it.
You can only connect STRIPE. I am based in Australia - so the fees are CRAZY HIGH!!
I also found a review on there that was fake - I called the company and they said they never used it. I still took the plunge and have the software a try and it's fine.

The app was meant to simply be a companion to the actual software and do plan to add more features to it in the future.

We are actually working on an integration with a new payment processor so perhaps you will be interested in switching. Stripe actually offers Australian users a better rate than North American users.

I'm not sure which review you found to be fake! I can assure you that we don't ask for reviews from facilities who aren't customers, nor do we fabricate fake reviews.

I dislike the new kennel view style - it is confusing to me
I wish it was easier to book kennels so that the next booking automatically chooses a kennel where another dog is leaving that same day instead of an empty kennel.

They have good customer service to work with you and tweak the program to your needs. Clients really like the customer portal also. Fairly easy to navigate and always adding updates.

Cons

Would like the different programs within proper to work more fluidly together as our dogs overlap with training and boarding. Think it’s a little pricey and may consider keeping if price gets increased.

Online booking system is a very nice feature and our clients also enjoy it. The clients can upload photos of their pet/s and monitor their passes at all times from any where. A lot of features to choose to use.

Cons

Can be difficult to navigate and use some of the features. Finding that some of the reports are not always 100% accurate. Some of the features we do not use.

We looked at a lot of Kennel software before choosing Propet. Overall it is the best for our situation. They have been great at adapting to specific needs. A few issues remain unresolved, for instance you are not able to provide a statement for a customer, but I am sure as time goes on they will have this resolved.

Pros

It is flexible and adaptable to a variety of dog boarding situations.

Cons

The reports available need some improvement. A daily sales figure(versus money collected) is key. The ability to provide a customer with a monthly statement would also be helpful.

the fact that we are being charged US dollars vs Cnd. every month our fee is different because of the currency rate, it should be a flat fee and in Cnd$. I understood that the owners were canadian so why in USD?

A very easy to use CRM that allows me to track our new and previous clients, keep track of their dogs goals and needs, add unique color codes to them or their dogs, add other dogs to a dog's Buddy List, etc. This has really made my day-to-day admin duties easier!

Pros

Very easy navigate and to use. It has a modern look that's smooth/clean. It has all the "must have" features for my business - CRM with photo uploads, vaccine history & alerts, "Buddy List" for the dogs in my care, color codes for both clients and dogs, etc. The price point is unbeatable, in my opinion.

Cons

The dog training software is still in beta, so it's a work in progress. If I'm allowed to update my review, I'll update it when the training software is live.

I love this software, and I get comments from my customers all the time about how easy it is for them to set up their profile, make booking requests, upload vaccination info, and even pay their bill. Rep in the service department has also been amazingly helpful whenever I have had any technical questions. She is kind, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and FAST!

Pros

I love how customizable it is, and how streamlined it makes the admin side of running a kennel.

Cons

A few little "bumps" along the way, but nothing significant.

I own a new business (less than 2 years) and from the beginning, I have tried numerous booking systems but all of them came up short until I found ProPet. My clients find it very easy to book online and I love how all the necessary information is in plain sight.

Pros

It's easy to find where I need to go. I'm not going through a million different steps to get to a client from the home screen. I can access it from many different places with just one click.

Cons

I do retail sales (and I know there is an update coming soon), so it's one extra step to make sure I get the sales tax included. Not difficult by any means, but I just have to REMEMBER which can be difficult! And there are a couple other little quarks, although I can't remember them for the life of me right now, so must not be too important.
