Everything is in one system
Our company has been running its everyday business on Rulingo for a year now.
We replaced our in-house developed TMS-system with a third-party solution.
The basic setup of Rulingo proved easy and pretty quick - we entered all our services with prices on the first day, and we were able to add personalized prices for customers and translators in a few days. Rulingo provided the import option for customers and translators, however, we had to resolve a few issues before we could get them in automatically. At the end, it took us around a week to do the setup, including communication with Rulingo support, which turned out to be hands-on in solving our difficulties.
The major point for us is that everything we do is recorded in one system (all jobs, customers, translators and finances), and that half of these things is updated by customers and translators themselves, and we get good enough reports on our financial performance. We manage our translation projects in Rulingo - the job has its statuses that go through the workflow having both customer and translator actively involved. The workflow covers the majority of our cases, however, we would like to see it enhanced to support the less popular cases and give us more flexibility.
The features I particularly love is communication on a job with both customer and translator using comments like in social networks, and job history where any activity on a job is being automatically recorded.
Overall, we are happy with Rulingo so far as it provides the essentials to run our business successfully, and its feature list has been growing over time.
One system to record all our activities, collaborative work and self-service for customers and translators, 'order placement' widget, easy setup and no maintenance on our side, financial reporting, project management for our translation projects with standard workflow.
The standard job workflow could be extended.
