Infoplus Definitely Gets The Job Done

Pros

Very intuitive portal on the 3PL and the client side. Quick to implement. Reliable. Smooth. Scalable in terms of order volume/clients.

Cons

Limited customization abilities. All the table stakes requirements for a WMS are there, but if you want to custom build enhancements it'll either be limited and/or costly.

It's about an 8 out of 10. It will be higher if you can fix your order processing issues when InfoPlus is undergoing maintenance or updates.

Pros

I appreciate the number of options for shipping in order to keep costs down for our small business.

Cons

Our orders are getting "stuck" between WooCommerce and InfoPlus and not flowing in to InfoPlus whenever InfoPlus does an update or has maintenance. InfoPlus needs to find a better way to cache orders flowing in so that once updates or maintenance are complete, orders flow in. My team is having to manually fix this every time InfoPlus has an update or maintenance. Extremely frustrating.

Just as an FYI, you can sign up for email/text alerts at status.infopluscommerce.com as we always push out alerts the day of and right before we go down for maintenance, this might help you stay on top of those better until we can systematically address the issue. Thank you again for the feedback!

Wishing for easier interface and more information

Pros

That it is connected to Shopify and when I cancel an order in Shopify it cancels it in Info Plus

Cons

I can't get a unit count on pending orders. We have alot of pre-orders and I want to go in and quickly and easily see how many of each unit is "on-order" and I can't see that at all. This is something I should be able to see daily.Also, if there is an address change on an order, I should be able to update it in Shopify only. Right now I have to update it in Shopify and then also go into Infoplus and update it. They should be linked in this function.

Hi Sonia,

All items in Infoplus have an "open order quantity" along with 9 or 10 other quantity fields. I would advise getting with your Infoplus admin or reach out to our support team for more information.

Shopify address changes are not automatic due to trigger and shipping information that gets applied at the time of order entry. If addresses are updated but carriers are not, it can cause issues downstream for the pick and pack team.

Pros

The scripts we are able to make have been game changing for us. It is simple to use as well!

Cons

The processing time and app. When we have heavy days with orders, it feels like the system can't keep up so we are trying to sort orders and it takes forever for us to just get to where we can work them. The app has always had issues. It normally works find but again, the processing can't keep up with how fast we want to pick at times which hurts our efficiencies.

Pros

It's overall very easy to use. There are many options to customize reports, and there is a lot of visibility.

Cons

It would be great to see a dashboard for orders — how many shipped in a period (day, month, quarter, etc.)? What states are the orders shipping to? What items on orders are running low on stock?

Your dashboard request is something that is currently available within the home screen of Infoplus. You can create "metrics" using smart filters on your data table, I've linked a knowledge base article that should be helpful to you.

relatively easy to use and i can manage the impt features by myself

UI could be improved inventory hard to see all in one placeshould give quotes when creating shipping labels so you don't have to create the order> wait for account rep to give quote > approve -- extra workthere's a lot that i don't use because it's not super intuitive

Pros

It is so easy to track, manage, and fulfill wholesale and e-commerce orders.

Cons

It is sometimes prolonged and hard to work on. Once an order is processed, there is no way for the user to make changes to the order.

Thanks for you feedback! I did want to let you know that there is a way to edit orders once it's processed, although I agree it's not super intuitive! To do this, you must use the "edit processed orders" function of the action menu (not the typical edit button). This will allow you to edit anything about the order, other than line items and quantity (since it's already processed). Hope this helps and thank you again for the review!

Good but with some frustrations

It is pretty straight forward and was easy to get my team to use it daily.

Cons

Infoplus is was the platform our 3PL uses for warehouse management. They have multiple customers. The biggest frustration I have run into is that they cannot use certain critical settings for our account without affecting their other customers - i.e. adding the same item twice on an order. This would be a huge improvement.

Thanks for your review. I'd like to point out that it is possible to allow duplicate line items on an order more than and that is per "line of business" setting. I would advise reaching out to your 3PL for more information!

I've used the software for more than 3 years now. I haven't used many other similar systems and at this time wouldn't think about it either.

Pros

The system itself once up and running just works. There is NEVER any downtime and it simply performs exactly how it's advertised.

Cons

Sometimes the search features make it difficult to find orders. Not often, but when it does it's a pain.

We migrated to infoplus during the snafu that was 2020. This allowed us to rapidly advance our picking capabilities while increasing our inventory visibility. Overall, we love this product.

Pros

The features you get with this product are insane for the price.

Cons

My only issue is that you can only receive on a PO once. We split shipments a lot and send part of it by air and the rest by ocean. We never found a way to receive on the same PO twice.

As far as receiving against the same PO more than once, Infoplus users can accomplish that by adjusting the "max over/under" threshold per line of business, or per receipt. I imagine you had a threshold set that would close out the receipt anytime something was short.

A Good Start

Our last system was an in-house system, so getting rid of that meant we no longer needed to keep it on hand. It also means if we lose internet or power, our customers can continue to use the system without interruption. Super useful. For the most part, I'm a big fan of the system, just needs some little QOL updates here and there.

Pros

I really like the scripting and customization options. That's more my area of the system beyond standard admin use. The easy integrations with various eCommerce solutions is also a big plus. We use the CartRover/Extensiv option, and it's gone very well for the most part.

Cons

Pack Station: We should be able to scan pack/case UPCs and have it pack multiple units at once. I had some suggestions about how it should work in a ticket out there somewhere.Mass Distribution/Bulk Shipping USPS: Any error in this process forces the void/refund process on all the parcel labels that were already successfully purchase. With USPS this is a huge annoyance, since the refund process isn't immediate.User Manager add Triggers Speed: For some reason, those two pages are always very slow to load, and it can be very annoying when I have to create a few new users for a client.

I like that I can look up my orders effectively and cancel the order if need be.

Cons

I don't like that sometimes my order will say fulfillable when it actually is not able to be fulfilled.

Thanks for the review! The "fulfillabilty" column details whether or not an order is fulfillable at that moment in time, not taking any other orders into account. I imagine what is happening is that other orders are being allocated before or at the same time, and the allocation of those orders then makes your current order not fulfillable.

Pros

InfoPlus is like a giant spreadsheet. Once you learn to navigate you can manipulate the data to provide almost any report needed.

Cons

There are features such as add an item to an order. Or delete an item from an order that would be amazing functions to have, but are currently not available.

You'll be happy to know that you can absolutely add or remove items from orders in our system :) As long as the order is not yet processed, you can edit any order and manipulate the line items. There is also an action menu option for editing line items that can be done via a pop up window so you don't have to go in and edit the order. Great for 3PL Warehouse

Pros

The software allows me to see in real time my available inventory at my 3PL. I can also easily create outbound and inbound shipments.

Cons

I use the system sporadically throughout the day and week and always have a tab open for it. The timeout period is short enough so that nearly every time I navigate to my InfoPlus tab and need to complete a task that I have to login again. A much longer logged in period would be super helpful for me.

Pros

The customizability is absolutely fantastic, Customer Support assistance from InfoPlus to get the desired results were also excellent in understanding what we're looking for, and giving more than one possible solution where possible.

Cons

User friendliness on using the system could be a bit better, and the site lags sometimes, likely due to the volume of data being fetched for each table.

Overall, the juice is worth the squeeze. Set up Infoplus the way you need it to work, watch the tutorials, and use it as much as you can.

Pros

Infoplus has a myriad of functions, most of which we need and use to operate our business. Once you get the hang of the platform, it's a lifeline to running the inventory and order processes smoothly.

Cons

Infoplus was quite complicated and confusing at the start. For a non-tech savvy person like me, I resisted learning at first, however there are video tutorials available and practice makes it much easier to use.
