The software is easily customizable, so when new students come, they immediately show up. Any district can customize it to their own system.

Teacher names are not displayed in lists for points or demerits.

I loved the ease of getting help when needed.

I did not like how it had so many opportunities for tardies, but that is a rewrite for our school.

The collection of data is super easy it takes me less than 5 clicks to record that a student have missing homework. Tracking of rewards and punishments has never been so easy.

For a usual user this totally work but for a math teacher who likes more specific reports or who wants more specific records is limited in flexibility

The software, with a little help, allows communication with the attendance software to automatically issue consequences for student violations.

Some of the features are a little less customizable than I would like. The ability to create subgroups isn't available yet.

I appreciate the improvements that have been made on hero over the past few years. I feel like they have listened to the customers and made changes to help with the ease of use.

Sometimes giving out points can be cumbersome. The app does not work correctly, it’s much easier to use the system from the website.

Yes! Hero was worth the roll out at my high school site! Students love to earn the Hero points and buy spirit gear that they normally can not afford.

I like that I can reward my students with Hero points and that they respond well to this program.

There is nothing I do not like except for it took me some time to figure all of what the program is capable of and how to apply that to my classroom.

HERO is very simple and easy to use. The students really buy into it. It has been quite helpful with my classroom management.

Our school does not allow teachers to give out negative points, only positive points. I wish that we could give negative points for negative behaviors.

Hero software is user friendly. It is a quick and efficient way to track behavior. The charts and graphics are helpful.

On hero, you cannot edit a mistake. If you mark a student tardy, it cannot be changed. If you accidently give a class period double positive points, it cannot be changed.

Students love Hero Points and work hard for them. They are able to buy sports tickets, spirit gear and snacks in our after school Hero Store. Students earn Hero points for positive behavior and they love it. Especially the students that have discipline issues, they love to see the points go up and it gives them encouragement to do better

Sometimes the web site is super slow and it is a deterrence for other teachers to use.

This software provides users with an effective way of tracking student behaviors and reviewing the results to determine where and how changes need to be made.

The software does run slow sometimes, however, this also depends on the amount of people using the program at the same time.

I like that the program allows us to provide staff with parameters while still allowing us the flexibility to let them individualize according to their needs and desires.

I don't like that it is currently not compatible with our Aeries because it would facilitate data recording and allow us to focus on the positive aspects that Hero allows for. I also would like it if we were able to access usage data in a percentile format i.e. we have staff with smaller number of students they see per day compared to others and awarding points each period but when I run report, their numbers are significantly smaller because it is based on total points awarded NOT percentile of points awarded .

I like the easy access at any time during my school day and the ability to see my students' points as they increase and share that with them.

Very rarely, but sometimes there is a lag or it does not work. Very rarely. Other than that, it's great.

Students are motivated to do the right thing. Students will come on time to class, behave, and help others.

Sometimes the system has glitches. It wont update with our system, so some students who have left are still on the roster and new students haven't been added yet.

The program is an easy to use tracking system. The features and functionality are simple. The website and customer support are awesome!

If you are not specifically tied to a class, (e.g. resource teacher, school counselor, admin) it can be time-consuming to search for students, especially if you want to award a bulk number of points.

When it comes to the software, I like the ease of use. Students also able to view their progress and central detentions.

There really isn't anything I do not like about the software. If I could modify anything it would be the ability to retract a central if I accidentally gave one.

I love that this software allows me to reward ALL students who are doing the right thing. It also helps me motivate and encourage students to change behaviors and see immediate rewards from their changes. I also love that it is a school-wide program, every teacher can use it and it helps build student buy-in.

I wish there was a way to spend points in the classroom easier. I want to let my students get rewards weekly by spending their hard-earned points. As of now, there is not this functionality available to classroom teachers.

Limited functionality- adding notes/explanation, limited reports generation, limited control over consequences, etc

Easy to use and easy to get into a habit to hand out points right after I take roll. I like showing to students how manyb points they have to purchase items in the store.

Sometimes we get logged out and have to relog in to give out points. It would be nice to stay logged in all day long

it's fairly easy to use and straight forward. It has all of the student's contact information in the system so that makes it nice for teachers to be able to call home if needed.

This system is able to track behaviors and we are able to give students incentives. The only thing I don't like about it is if you make a mistake its a lot of steps to right the problem.

I am able to use it easy and I can reward students.

Sometimes it moves to slow. I have to wait or reenter info.
