Save loads of time. Our users love using it and have made quite a laborious process actually enjoyable!

Pros

Simple to use. The experience is completely frictionless. It's cut down expense processing by at least 80% and will save several days per month when fully implemented.

Cons

My only criticism would be I'd want a little more control around the nominal code heading and overall structure but we have it working perfectly within the limits of it just now but that's me just being picky!

It is great to allow each member of our team the flexibility to buy what they need for the business but also set limits and monitor spending. It has improved team moral, trust and productivity and allows the management team to focus on the strategy side of things!

Pros

Simple, easy to use and and awesome technology. Makes the boring task of tracking spending within a team much more enjoyable and manageable.

Cons

Not much to dislike. Perhaps adding cashback rewards down the line with other startup providers.

To top all the serious technical issues we have with PLEO, customer service is extremely lacking....

To top all the serious technical issues we have with PLEO, customer service is extremely lacking. The phone number on their signatures is bogus, no-one ever answers. They chat support can only confirm that there's indeed an issue. Tickets aren't followed up so any issue you have, get used to it. Personnel is constantly changing so I've already had 4 account managers.

Pros

I liked how easy it was to implement it. Very intuitive software with great design

Cons

They've started implementing some great features... That don't work properly and ends un being unreliable.Uploading from a phone, rotating expenses, analytics is useless if you use more than 1 tag, some exports have appeared with blank pages instead of the ticket, plastic cards that couldn't be activated, payment rejections without notice and alternative...

Easy expense handling.

Pros

It's instant. I don't have to remember to do my expenses. It allows everyone to have a company card.

Cons

Nothing really comes to mind. I would love an improved way to handle recurring expenses, but for now, it only takes me a few minutes extra.

Pros

Expense reports used the be the worst part of my job. I always used to wait until they built up for months and then it would take me hours to do expenses. Now I barely even have to think about it.

Cons

Still, have to pay invoices through an integration but I think they're building functionality that will allow it soon.

Pros

Solved a challenge we had as a rapidly growing business. Team can now book flights, attending meetings and order anything needed without worrying about the expense process!

Cons

The slight lack of control, the abilty to freeza cards at certain times would be ideal.

Pros

Collecting receipts and coding transactions at the point of sale has removed a bulk of work at the accounting end of our business. Without the export feature into Xero it wouldn't have had the same impact.

Super simple, and just very easy to use.

They changed the UI to remove "My missing receipts" (so you had to filter a bit), but that was added back fairly quickly.

I pay as administrator for every company and don't use a card for Spain and Germany. The approval process is also not great because it does happen that people forget there phone.

Pros

Beautiful interface and 1-click (almost) bookkeeping is very impressive. I save maybe 2 hour a month on reporting for myself and my teams and I don't have to keep track of my receipts in my pockets.

Cons

Would be great if there was some sort of kickback but that's probably not in the EU directive that makes it legal.

We are currently working on looking at different ways of reporting and introducing an approval process with managers, with the support of Pleo. Overall, the experience with Pleo is positive. We have a great relationship, very similar cultures and it's been exciting to see how they have evolved and listen to their customers.

Pros

Ease of use for the user and for the finance team, integrates well with our accountancy software, intuitive and great to have holistic view of all transactions. Best of all is that they always take on feedback and have fantastic customer support.

Cons

Quite honestly, nothing springs to mind...

I no longer need to pay an admin clerk to shift paper. My expenses are properly accounted for and I'm now claiming much more input vat than I used to.

Pros

The best way to account for expenses is certainly at the point of payment. The fact that the Card transaction is matched to documentation by the Card user and pushed straight through to Xero (and vat correctly accounted for) saves hours of paper pushing a month. My employees all feel trusted and empowered and I feel in control. Pleo gets my vote for the most transformative product I've come across since Xero and Receipt Bank took my bookkeeping world by storm. On top of all that the UX of the web and app environment is brilliant and I felt totally supported by the friendly team in what was a very efficient and quick onboarding process.

Cons

The capture of photos of invoices could be enhanced but is by no means a show stopper. It would be good if the app trimmed the space around a piece of paper and straightened it up (see what the new apple notes iOS app does or Evernote)

Payment Tracking Made Easy

Pros

Pleo eliminates countless hours of work and stacks of paper. I love the speed with which I can get new employees up and running with their cards, as well as the tracking ability. Receipts have long been a nagging issue for us, but the fact that our employees can upload their receipts directly and input descriptions/notes is fantastic.

Cons

Have not yet had any negative experiences with the software. The team has been very responsive to our questions, and we are all very happy with Pleo.

It is simple and easy to use. Our pilots find it so convenient that they can settle accounts on the spot and we at home know exactly what cost we have occured on an airport in China minutes after it has been settled and before the aircraft even takes off.

IT is so fast and easy to use and we love the "fire and forget" way to handle receipts. Never loose a receipt again 😊

Cons

Only issue er have is that pleo is not a credit card yet. So some car rental and hotels Will not accept is as deposit.

It's a pleasure to use technology that makes life simple. It is not overly complicated but delivers for everyone. The user wins - no expenses to fill in, the accounts win - no chasing incorrect submissions and missing receipt and the business' wins as it's all done in real time - no bulk submissions causing spikes in cash flow.

Pros

It's so simple to use, no fuss, just easy. Even the technophobics find it easy to use!
The menu is simple and functional.
There is no unnecessary step to click through to enter a transaction and once entered you forget about it. No expense reports to fill out and receipt to attach.

Cons

There is another pin to remember, but that's the world we live in, everything is online.

Easy expense management with Pleo

Pros

As a card holder, it is so easy to snap a picture of the receipt and quickly choose a cost category. And Pleo remembers the choice of cost category the next time you use the card in the same store.
As a Finance Manager, it is also very easy to export the transactions from the Pleo website and then import to the financial system (Dynamics NAV).

Cons

It all works perfectly, and they are still developing lots of interesting features.

Pros

Expense reports is a hassle. I hate them. But, with PLEO it's now kind of fun to make purchases from the company card. Our admin staff is happy, our employees are happy and we can move quickly as the high growth company that we are. Thanks PLEO!

Cons

Kind of nothing. Some small features is missing but I am sure that they will developed in the near future, and the functions I am thinking about is not "must haves".

Pros

Pleo is a great product, and extremely easy to use. It simplifies a lot of issues in the finance department, and makes our work and reporting a lot easier.

Cons

Pleo is still a start-up, and still has a long way to go regarding features and attributes for the general users, such as advanced departments, etc.
