Ideal system
Reviewed on 2022/12/28
Pros
We explored a variety of ERP packages and the possibility of creating our own when assessing our business needs. We found Striven to be an ideal system that could evolve along with our company. I personally enjoy using the report builder to measure data, as well as the accessibility of the software and its capacity to create tasks quickly. This makes it easier for our company to stay organized and efficient with our internal communications.
Cons
Honestly, I don't dislike much about Striven. It's very user-friendly and I'm able to find what I need quickly. I was able to come up with a solution, but it would be great if there was an option to age from either starting point.

User friendly and efficient!

It has been great. Their customer support team has real people responding to your questions and they have great response time and are always happy to help!
Pros
I like the report builder best because you can configure and pull your own reports on just about anything in the system! It makes tracking metrics on my data entry so easy.
Cons
I like the timesheet feature but I wish there was a feature where you can copy a past timesheet into draft form for your current week and then edit the hours. I often work in the same item categories and it would save time completing this necessary but sometimes time consuming task.

Growing into striven
Reviewed on 2023/02/20
we just finished our first fiscal year with striven, clients, receipts, jobs are all in and we couldn't be happier. Purchasing Striven ahead of time is going to make it so much easier to grow without data migration and I can grow into additional features/functions to suit my business needs with each growth stage. [sensitive content hidden] was phenomenal through the process and was a huge part of me joining. The level of communication and support has been fantastic. I'm looking forward to reducing my role in other areas of he business so I can spend more time in Striven and how I can better use it to serve my team better.
Pros
The support is next level. Fairly easy to maneuver in Striven and only had to learn a few tasks/clicks that seamed foreign to my experience with other CRM software.
Cons
when choosing a category like clients or vendors it doesn't automatically give you a list. you have to click the search button to populate the list which is an unnecessary step for me.

Onboarding - No buyers remorse

Second month into the onboarding process and while slow and detailed we can see how good the end result will be. The support team is very dependable.
Pros
There is a ton of functionality that we haven't tapped into yet. Right now we are a month in to the process and the team charged with training us have been very good. It is too early to discuss the benefits but to this point we do not regret our choice.
Cons
There are a ton of features and the set up is detailed. It would be nice if there was a manual that pointed you in the right direction but there support team is incredibly responsive and has answered all of my questions in real time.

Far beyond our expectations
Reviewed on 2021/08/19
The staff have been wonderful to work with. They are very direct with there vision, feature capability, and direction of software. There support team have been very crucial in helping us get started with our migration. The overall software has been very well developed and functionality has already saved hours of time in our day to day operations.
Pros
I love the customization of this software. I can treat any report that narrows down exactly the info I need for invoicing, quoting, part management and more. In the few short months we have used it and very little training I have been able to navigate this system and save myself hours of unnecessary data entry. The ease of use and import has been a huge highlight to this software. They are constantly putting forth effort to make this software improved in function and reliability.
Cons
Consistency within features that do not go parallel through out the software. Some of the reports could have cross data to give a more comprehensive report however they said this maybe in a future feature release. Reports are still extremely powerful.

Extremely Robust and Dynamic
Reviewed on 2021/07/27
Everyone within the company has been extremely helpful and responsive. The different departments worked very well together to pass along information that had been given so that our company did not have to constantly repeat information for the integration. They answer our questions quickly and accurately and we have had essentially zero hiccups along the way.
Pros
This software has everything a business would need all in one place. Too many times do companies find themselves needing a handful of different software programs to organize their different departments. Striven takes all those major departments and stores it in one place, which makes it significantly easier to track, organize, and provide the information needed.
Cons
There are so many features it can be a bit intimidating to learn for a user who is used to much less.

Excellent value
Reviewed on 2021/01/13
Pros
It has an incredible amount of features for the money and there is no license level, meaning one user license gives you access to everything. Many other products require you to buy additional items to get more features. Having the project management / time tracking system live in the same place as a full accounting product is a *huge* help.
Cons
It could use some UX help as some things aren't always very intuitive. We found a few tasks in our older system were easier to reason about, but overall the UX is decent.

Great Alternative to Quickbooks
Reviewed on 2023/02/16
Pros
My name is Brandon and I do the bookkeeping for a small general contractor in Florida. We wanted to find a feature-rich software that wasn't Quickbooks. Striven has a great overall interface. The system allows for a good amount of customization. Unlike Quickbooks, Striven has a great customer service support team to help with your setup and any future needs. We do have some additional customizations that we would like to see in Striven. We have already reached out to the Striven team and they are welcoming the conversation. I look forward to growing the business with Striven as our system.
