Amazing, it has really helped me save a lot of time!

Pros

Since I started using Droplr I've been able to manage screenshots so easily. Given the work I do, it is essential to be able to take screenshots all the time, and using the default OS option and then uploading it is time consuming. Droplr makes it easy, specially with the Chrome extension, simply select the type of screenshot you need, markup it and copy the link.
Another very important feature is being able to add tags or move screenshots to folders to keep them organzed, and the selfdestrcut option, also really really good.

Cons

So far I don't really have problems, I did had a problem taking screenshots a long time ago, but their support team got back to me and helped me fix it, turns out all I needed to do was uninstall and reinstall the Chrome extension to fix it.

Pros

I loved sending screen shots to people for some feedback on different graphics I've created. I love how when you take a screen shot, it automatically creates a link for it and copies it to your clipboard. I think it's genius how easy it is to share

Cons

Sometimes it doesn't open when you login to your computer, and also the free version can be quite a tease! I would love some functionality still with the free version.

I purchased this tool.

I liked everything it did (and does) feature wise.

I immediately started having issues with features and tools not working.

Support was consistently disorganized and incompetent in responding to my requests.

I don't like saying that, but there is no other accurate way to describe it.

I have been communicating on and off back and forth for many months since purchasing this tool.

Often they lost my communications or didn't respond or not for a very long time (most recent was several weeks).

Now they are telling me that I need to upgrade my account in order to get "premium" support.

Interestingly, they are asking me to upgrade to the plan I already paid them for.

The only conclusion I can come to based on what I have experienced is that they do not have a customer focused, excellence culture.

I have not seen any sign that they are committed to quality and support at all.

This all makes me very sad, because I like the ideas of the tool.

After many months (since June/July 2019) I no longer believe they are ever going to debug the tool or provide even "non-premium" support.

Pros

The idea.
The features are really cool.
Branded URL for Screenshots, Screencasts, and File Sharing.
Clipping Tools, Video Screencast Tools.
Ability to mark up your screenshots.

Cons

Consistently buggy.
It is very normal for various features to have bugs up to and including not working at all.

If you're looking for a tool to capture images from browsers and more, you can't go wrong with Droplr. It's a fantastic little tool

Pros

I love Droplr for capturing images to share with collogues and clients. The browser extension works great, and there are many fantastic QoL features like expiry of images, annotations and sorting.

Cons

The browser extension occasionally logs me out, but this is the smallest of annoyances and happens very infrequently, everything else is great.

Quick, fast, efficient, and non-cluttering screen shot tool. It's a real delight to use, and I'd be lost without it now.

Pros

It's a wonderful tool for quickly taking snapshots and marking them up, rather than taking a SS, importing to Photoshop, and dealing with layers. Sometimes efficiency is key - and Droplr makes this process much smoother.

Also, the fact that it can keep your files in it's cloud storage frees up HD space on my computer. Or more specifically, more clutter that you don't have to trash later.

It's a great tool for individuals involved in making tutorials (such as myself) that require quick SS links.

Cons

Seems a bit pricey for what it is compared to SnagIt, but since work pays for it I don't focus on this as much.

Pros

Love Droplr and have been a customer for a few years now. Before I used screencast, but Droplr blows this away! It does animated gif which are awesome, videos, and of course screenshots.

Cons

The arrows when using the app are a different style then when you edit it on the web. Please make the arrows the better web version!

Pros

It's simple, all I have to do is one of two key commands. Plus I like their new features where you can draw arrows to point to things. As a designer, I can SHOW people what I mean, and that means things like bug testing are so much simpler.

Cons

It used to crash on my computer, and then I'd have to relaunch it.... but it seems stable now. I love it.

Ease of use. It made uploading files easier than before. It made my whole workflow almost seem seamless (no pun intended).

Pros

Has an OS X menubar icon and easy functionality. Works when I need it to, and flows well with my workflow. I don't have to leave an app to open this one - it simply exists in my menubar and copies directly to my clipboard.

Cons

It seems to ever-so-slighty be getting paywalled. When I first used it, the free tier was enough, now the free tier is almost as good as gone. There's no benefit to pay for something like this when competitors offer more with a few more obstacles to overcome.

Even though theres so many cons on droplr but I still prefer to using it just because I paid only once and that is a great deal. I use it often to make videos for my clients and sharing important files with team and project works. Its not the best but its also not the worst one. So I am still happy user of it and hopefully Droplr Team will make more improvements to this app and give more attention to its UI and UX.

Pros

1. Lifetime membership access as I got it on a deal!
2. Unlimited Spaces
3. Quick Draw and Snippets tool!
4. Easy Video Recording and sharing.
5. White Label Option!

Cons

1. Very Buggy Desktop App with No UI Window At All. Just a system tray.
2. By Default App System Tray Stays Disconnected, You have to click right mouse button and click again after a while to see you being logged in.
3. No options to set resolutions and quality! Where competitive do much better.
4. Sometimes after recording video does not get uploaded to droplr.
5. After snaping and opening images in markup editor and saving it will cause a blurry and bad effect on image quality.
6. No inbuilt app image editor like monosnap or loom.
7. No better UX of video processing like loom.
8. No discussions board on video or who viewed when.

If you're a CLI kind of person, I have published a "droplr-cli" app here: https://www.npmjs.com/package/droplr-cli

Pros

It's a simple app that does what it's supposed to well -- take screenshots & makes them easily accessible via web. The built-in screen recording works very well, including recording audio with it. I use these two features very frequently for work-related tasks and it's definitely not something I'm willing to live without now!

Cons

One feature that is missing that I'd *really* like to see is the ability to fine-tune a screenshot after the fact. For example, I might take a screenshot and realize I want to crop it slightly to cut out some content. This functionality does not currently exist.

I'd also like the ability to take a screenshot, make annotations, etc and copy the contents directly to my clipboard (actual image data) rather than being forced to either save to disk or upload to droplr.

The ability to quickly capture, annotate, and share what I see on the screen helps me communicate more effectively with my team and with customers.

Pros

Capturing screenshots and screen recordings is fast, reliable, and easy. Having the ability to organize these screenshots into groups and share the grouped shots with colleagues is a great way to share inspiration, ideas, and revisions. There are many options regarding privacy and even the ability to have a custom domain/url for sharing these images.

Cons

While the capture interface is great, the web portion can be challenging. Things like privacy controls are not well described in the interface.

Pros

Ease of use, hands down. I need to share a link with a colleague or friend then I just drag and drop onto the taskbar icon or use a handy keyboard shortcut. Another nifty feature is the ability to create Self Destructing shares, I don't feel like the security is an issue but sometimes the piece of mind is worth it's weight in gold.

Cons

Honestly, the upgrade process used to be a bit clunky in the earlier versions, however, since that has been reworked I cannot find any flaws.

I'm also a fan of CloudApp, but —especially if you're interested in creating readily-shareable, linked Markdown files—then Droplr becomes a better choice. You might consider both, and be on the lookout for occasional discounts or "lifetime" offerings from either one.

Pros

I have reviewed CloudApp, too—and I've given that similar software a slight edge—but Droplr I very capable, and in some ways I like it better!

Pros

Very easy to use and very fast.
It's worth it's money especially now that the price for Pro was lowered .
Very light and never crashes or take time like other software that need their time.

Cons

1. For a paying service (especially when it wasper month), the support responds to you in 2-4 days, to a chat support not ticket.
2. The one thing that does not make sense at all is that they've build all this service and it does not include a full screen shortcut like the one Mac OS have by default (Shift-Command-4). When you take hundred of screenshots everyday that is a must.
3. If you take a screenshot and save it on your finder as a file and than drag and drop that on to Jira it shows an unsupported file. Jira does not recognise that. for dev teams that use Jira is unusable. And I know that they have a Jira connector, but when you paste a droplr url on the Jira comment section it does not get populated, you still need to open the link.
4. No iPhone app.
