Pros

We don't charge for parking, but needed a way to assign spaces more easily and to maximize use. Parkalot did that for us the best out of the other apps we investigated.

Cons

They are really good...so not much. It would be nice to have 2 emails receive notifications instead of just one.

Pros

Simple user app interface, with a decent back end allowing custom configuration of multiple lots.

Feedback from users has been resoundingly positive

We tested it extensively & so far we have not found any issue - stability and responsiveness are good alongside comprehensive functionality

Cons

Well, there isn't anything that I dislike. since nobody really has admin staff for things like this, one potential improvement could be with incidents - if there was a field for a user reporting an incident to add a license plate number - this could be cross referenced with the license plates held & a notification issued to the offending vehicle owner & admin If the plate doesn't match anything we have, then it should be escalated to the admin only. It would also help to have a report of incidents and the offenders. I've already kicked one or two people out the system for persistent misuse.

Excellent experience. We had a complex ask with 3x different increasing access groups coming online at 3x different time periods. I honestly thought the ask was unreasonable and was expecting a "sorry can't do that". However the team made it happen. Look the solution is excellent value. The team, went way beyond what was reasonable for a customer to ask for, and has solved a problem that we were looking at having to spend $2000 a month on additional carparks. If you are looking for a parking solution, don't waste your time - do a trial and you will become a customer.

Pros

After looking at a number of options, Parkalot ended up delivering everything we needed to deliver a full end to end solution that has allowed us to make 15 carparks now totally functionally available to over 30 staff now. Mobile App is great across both platforms, and a number of additional asks were accommodated at no extra cost.

Cons

No complaints about anything. Very complete solution.

The easy use for our employees. Good comunication with the ParkALot-Team ( [sensitive content hidden]).

Cons

That it doesn't have an app yet. The booking method, that books from 0am to 12pm.
Language setting changes doesn't work all of the time.

Overall this has been a pretty seamless transition for the team from the old manual reservation desk to the app. And the team also added to the roadmap one of the features that our team said would be good in the incident reporting space to allow adding pictures to the incident.

Pros

Though our need and requirement was small to medium; the minimum features that Parkalot offers was generally hidden behind additional fees for a few of the other apps that we tested. Moving to the app has basically decentralised the entire process that otherwise required the facility manager actively working on assigning and allocating reservation spots for team members. And based on the feedback from the users, they love using the app and the waitlist feature.

Cons

So far no one from the team has reported any issues with the app or it's usage or features.

autojoin waitlist, auto assign, spot owner rotation

Cons

mobile app reloading does not work, you need to force close app and open again to see the spots updates. When you swipe down for reload content as usually have other apps, you don't have it. Also you can not bulk remove from waitlist, for example you have vacation and want to remove from waitlist during those days, you can do that day by day and not bulk.

It lacks synchronization with other platforms, such as Slack or BambooHR, to track who is out and make spots available for others.

Cons

My colleagues/other users can only see which spaces are available and not who booked the spots. They want to see if who booked which spots. Is there a way for normal users to view the schedule screen?

I don't need to remind people to let me know their following weeks parking & manually enter the info into a spreadsheet. I also love that people can release their parking spaces when they realise they won't be using them.It's so easy to allocate a new team member a space or to add someone to the use of pool/shared spaces

Cons

I have to work hard to justify the expense to management but encouraging people to use it helps show the value and also know in the near future we will get busier so will rely on the app more & more

It is very easy to use and also to manage from an administrator point of view. It is flexible enough to enable our employees to book, cancel and manage their own car park booking. That Parkalot have been able to work with us to adapt the system to meet our needs.

Cons

It would be good to have a bit more flexibility - so booking hours instead of whole days, having a email reminder regarding booking.

This task was previously manually managed, using Parkalot means that we have completely automated our parking system which has been brilliant at saving time and efforts.

Cons

It's not a super easy download, so getting a team of 70 to follow the lengthier download process was a bit strenuous. Once downloaded onto our phones, it works super well.

Ease of managing limited parking spaces . It optimises usage. Visibility of available parking spaces on any given day. We have 2 different work locations and able to park spots at both depending on where the staff need to be. Allows to make reservations for guests.

Cons

Reservations feature could be easier to book but you need to do so through another link. I wish as an administrator I could book multiple spots under my name.

Pros

- Quick parking spot booking from the user perspective. In most cases user has to click one button.

- No need to install anything on phone. Application keeps me logged in all the time. Once I created a shortcut on my homescreen it's works and feels like a regular app.

- Administrator can setup various booking rules to allow some users to have priority.

- Perfect support, including adding one minor app feature (user profile) even before i purchased the full version.

Summary:
This app puts very little effort on parking users, what was my absolute priority.

Cons

- admin panel wording isn't perfect, what makes some features hard to discover. It's also a tip for the team what to improve
