Context Syncing for PVH Digital Showroom Platform

Used Daily for 1+ year
Reviewed on 2019/12/09
Review Source: Capterra

We needed to distribute on a seasonal basis roughly 55,000 image files to multiple locations within a short time period , where we had high network latency and low bandwidth files. We also needed full visibility of the progress of the content syncing. Resilio was able to help us achieve this with a simple, straight-forward set-up. Overall service from the team was exceptional.

Pros

Peer to Peer syncing technology to distribute media files (images) over variable networks with huge network latency

Cons

Resilio Agent distribution not fully silent / non-interactive

Cons

There is nothing wrong with the software itself, but since it is powerful and efficient small usage mistakes can have great consequences.

Pros

Resilience across multiple ADSL tails means that Large files are easily distributed and maintained with little input.
Scripting engine has allowed us to control multiple devices across multiple OSs from 1 single source.

Cons

We have currently reached the limit for a joint MC and Node server at 3500 nodes - this on its own is quite an achievement.
