Simple to use, no fuss event website software that looks great.

I used Floktu to set up a small preview event for new collection of ours. The product was simple to use & after 20 minutes I had a fully functioning event website with multiple pages. The support staff communicated well and the process was a breeze.

Cost Effective and great customer service
Pros
The customer service is second to none, they are always there to help with work-arounds if required. The software is really cost effective especially for community events. I recommend them to all of my clients
Cons
I have a few complicated events where the answer is not always as straightforward as it should be. The software didn't always have an "Easy Fix" however the customer service team have always been amazing in helping with workarounds to make it all happen.

User friendly site with incredible customer service!

Pros
Floktu is intuitive, user friendly and customizable, and if I ever run into any roadblocks customer support has been extremely friendly and helpful. I also found the option to send invitations straight to my email marketing database super helpful towards promoting my events.
Cons
Was unable to find an option to integrate PayPal as a means of payment method for ticket sales.

I was in a pinch, with zero budget and then I found Floktu

It saved us when things came to a pinch and the budget was non-existent!
Pros
Floktu allowed me to create a functional, elegant and mobile-friendly) registration page for a youth camp for underprivileged kids in suburban Melbourne. The learning curve was pretty gentle and the content options were spot on.
Cons
The form design was a little clunky, and it's difficult to set up a system where an adult signed up multiple kids, but I managed a bit of a work-around.

Pros
The software is very simple to use, and quite intuitive. It's effectiveness and value for money is excellent and the service/responsiveness of the support team is outstanding.
Cons
The flexibility around 'skinning' or branding the external communications/emails/PDFs is limited. There is some limited functionality around this, but could be improved.

Useful event registration platform

Pros
Fairly easy to use. Add to calendar feature.
Cons
- have to pay for free events
- not enough flexibility in regards to events page design. Drag and drop features are missing. It's the Floktu way or no way.

Great website, easy to make ticket categories - excel export could have been better.

Pros
Cost was lower than competitors, tickets were easy to make and personalise. User friendly for the customers and support staff were friendly and quick with responses.
Cons
The excel export document was a little confusing, there was no document where we could get all the information we needed.

Great glossy looking event interface with fantastic info back up and great customer support to use the software.
Pros
Overall the set up was straightforward but with lots of detailed options to completely customise your event marketing, ticketing and information. The technical customisation was all supported by online, phone and video-call support which made having questions answered and adjustments made a breeze.
Cons
Because of the detailed ability to customise your site and ticketing, I had some questions about which options to select when setting up, however the customer support was so helpful and easy this was not an issue. Getting support from customer service was not only helpful, but I feel more upskilled to set up my next event- Great easy process!

Being able to manage events from the small scale (50 people) to large events with up to 1500 participants
Pros
It's intuitive, and easy to use. The dashboard feature is fantastic, and pulling reports on tickets, users, sales is easy.
Cons
The search function would be great if there was an option for a general search (rather than having to define 'email' 'name' 'order id' etc.

Dependable, the customer service is impeccable, and the cost is impossible to beat.

Zero cost, flexibility, and efficiency
Pros
Once you get the hang of the system, it's very easy and straightforward to use. There are lots of ways to customise your ticket tiers and several settings that allow you and your ticket buyers flexibility. The customer service is also great - accessible, always helpful, and positive to work with!
Cons
It was slightly daunting creating my first event on the original platform but not hard to catch on to - the new set up wizard is seamless!

Great concert ticketing

We used Floktu Swift for our state concert tour last year. We received personal and tailored support that allowed us to get a stand alone event website up and on sale within a few days. As we had no website of our own at that stage this saved us thousands of $ at the time. Since then we have made our own marketing site and now link to Floktu for our annual program ticketing. The access to real time sales is a huge plus. We haven't used the door scanning app yet but plan to soon.

Easy to setup and configure and embed in existing website.
A decent amount of options to configure look and feel.
Good support.
Cons
There is currently no API or plugins to allow for direct integration into our website without using iframes.

Great platform - would be perfect with a few tweaks

The great thing about Floktu is that it's able to be customised to suit your needs, albeit at a cost. We were running a very complex event with both internal ticketing and external ticketing having a different structure, and the team was able to make some changes to accommodate that complexity.
The look and feel of the site is great and user friendly (and ability to closely match corporate branding is a major plus) and the customer service was outstanding - extremely responsive and ready to say yes rather than no to requests.
Downsides: Tax invoice generation was a little problematic as it relied on an image being embedded in an email which often didn't display correctly; event times listed on tickets were for the whole week rather than the individual day/ticket booked; it wasn't possible to cancel one ticket out of a multi-ticket order, so the whole order had to be cancelled; group discounts weren't easily handled. Email integration wasn't easy, especially with multiple events.
No major dealbreakers but some improvements to be made - a few of those issues above work better in alternative platforms like Eventbrite, but overall Floktu is a great product which with some extra work will be outstanding. If your event isn't as crazy complicated as mine you'll have no issues at all!

It looks good and makes the process easy for the purchaser. Low commissions and no fees for free tickets is good.
Cons
It doesn't seem to be able to have add-ons where you can sell additional products through the ticketing system such as merchandise, etc

The platform was great to use in terms of setting up pages, forms, formatting, back end and ticketing aspects. Helpdesk service was fantastic & very prompt and helpful during setup.
Floktu gratefully sponsored our event so the commission costs were removed. For a standard (non-charity) event costs are quite reasonable.
Have recommended the service to anyone I know in events including our Charity for this event - beyondblue.
