We have had a very positive experience with Corsizio and intend to continue using it. We have never encountered an error in the software and we have been able to rely on the reports we generate. Our enrollees have never had any issues with using Corsizio either and that says a lot.

Pros

Class registrations are made simple and easy for us and many of the features are very help. In particular, we are pleased to have the automatic feedback prompt for class registrants which allows us to gather important information without having to send out surveys ourselves.

Cons

Perhaps we haven't found this feature yet, but we run several classes within the same program, and it would be wonderful to aggregate the date from each program, gathering registration information from all of the classes within that program into one place, as opposed to having to go through each class individually.

Response from Corsizio

We are thrilled that Corsizio is providing you with value while having a reliable and smooth experience facilitating your online class registrations. Thank you for taking the time to share this review. As for seeing account registrations in one place, regardless of what event they belong to, there is a dedicated main area for that, and we will have our support team reach out to you directly to provide you with more info and help.

Best affordable registration platform that is also flexible and customizeable

Overall, given how affordable, flexible and customizeble Corsizio is, we have found it check's more boxes for us than any other platform, even though other platforms check some boxes that Corsizio does not, it does not lack any features we need (some are just accomplished in an unusual or non-typical way).

Though it may take someone with a little more advanced understanding of apps and platforms to be an administrator, its a platform easy enough for any user to learn and work with.

Pros

Firstly, that there is a fee-free level for processing low numbers of registrations monthly. Secondly, that the customer support response rate is rapidly fast and helpful. We also love that they provide ongoing upgrades to features to keep the platform growing in its benefits and usefuleness. It is also wonderful how customizeable the global features are as well as the ability to create customized fields, and confirmation/reminder memos.

We also wanted something that could embed in our own website so registrants would not be re-directed to app platform and end up leaving our site. Corsizio offers this with several customizeable options/settings.

Lastly, having the ability to assign team members with their own accounts and permission/account access makes it a fantastic choice for us that have staff which need to access events for various different reasons, rather than sharing one login with everyone. It's integration with Stripe, which utilizes the same team members interface/accounts option is also a positive feature.

Cons

Though we appreciate some of the formatting features in memos, we find it very limited and glitchy. We desire more fully developed formatting options that are eaier to implement. For example, it would be extremely helpful to be able to upload images rather than provide a URL link, as well as more flexibility with image placement around text in a memo and the ability to re-size.

Response from Corsizio

Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a thorough and comprehensive review about your experience with our service. It is very meaningful to hear all that you have shared and we are happy to know that you are getting good value from the service. And yes, we will continue to upgrade and update Corsizio to provide even more value and functionality. Best wishes for all your events!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you did not consult our help doc about images where we provide guidelines and details about uploading images for event cover pages or reach out to our support team to inquire about images if you were having any difficulties. We are always ready to help to make your experience on our platform the best that it can be. We're utilizing Corsizio for prof. development courses and a unique student pipeline which requires two different catalogs. The ability to separate these instances was excellent. In fact, a lot of "oh no" moments along the way were quickly squashed by the feature set of this system, such as custom fields during registration. The big thing for us is leveraging the API to bring data back to internal systems, this is a relatively simple and straightforward set up as well. I am hopeful that the product continues to improve, but it's pretty solid as is at a more than reasonable price point.

Pros

The setup is smooth, the API is straightforward, our less technical users can register easily. Our admins within the system have also provided great feedback, we were just lucky to stumble on this solution.

Cons

It's hard to find things to complain about. Two minor things come to mind. One, the registration is not really a shopping cart style experience, so registrations tend to happen one at a time...not a dealbreaker for our needs but would be nice. Two, the onboarding process was almost nonexistent. We don't have an account rep, or success manager, or even anyone contacting us about using the system ever. It's very impersonal. As an IT guy, this is not really a bad thing to me, I just want it to work and I'm not interested in the relationship aspects of the vendor process, but it could have been beneficial a time or two and just struck me as odd.

Reasons for Switching to Corsizio

Corsizio had a more attractive price point, a better functioning solution, and a less aggressive sales approach (not aggressive at all actually, we've barely spoken with anyone on their team). I'm happy with it so far.

Response from Corsizio

Thank you very much for taking the time to share all your valuable feedback. As per your observation and our documentation, Corsizio is a self-serve platform with no sales reps or account managers, which is one of our differentiation points and selling features. But we are always here for our customers to answer any questions they may have. This also allows us to provide a low-cost and high-value service to everyone. Wishing you continued success!

Thank you for your feedback. Please note that Corsizio is significantly lower priced than the Cvent software you were using, and it is built for different kinds of event and class registration needs. Trying to make it fit your use case may result in a less optimal experience for you on our platform. On Corsizio, each event or session is its own configured entity and record. Perfect Training Registration Platform for Franchise System

Reviewed on 2023/02/01

It initially took some time to dig into the platform and identify how to set it up and use it for our needs. The dashboard is extremely user friendly and easy to configure. Over time we started utilizing the payment option that is integrated in Corsizio for a streamlined process. The automated reporting and registration management functions are wonderful and have saved us so much time and manpower.

Pros

As a franchise system, we needed a simple online platform that could help us manage registration and payment for our various internal trainings and events. We looked at several LMS platforms that either didn't have quite the capabilities we needed or were extremely pricey for what we were needing. When we pivoted toward just event registration platforms, we found Corsizio and were initially attracted to it for the affordable cost however, since using it for over 2 years now - we continue to be impressed with its capabilities and ease of use. We now manage all internal training registrations, payment collection, trainee communication, and tracking through Corsizio for our entire franchise. I highly recommend this platform for any size of company.

Cons

This software provides pretty much all the functions we need. The only challenge I would say was the initial setup and configuration process. It took some time to learn how everything worked and to configure it for our needs. This is fairly typical though with new platforms and was nice to have free access for unlimited time while we ironed this out.

Reasons for Switching to Corsizio

Ultimately it was the cost. Corsizio was free to try and use up to a certain monthly user registration which fit in our budget as an emerging brand. It also gave us plenty of time to get to know the platform and learn how to configure it for our needs before a "free trial period" ended, which is what many of the other platforms offered.

Response from Corsizio

We are delighted to read your review, and thank you for taking the time to write it. Our primary goal is to add great value at a very low cost with a quality service, and we are glad that it has been a good fit for your needs. We appreciate you choosing Corsizio for your training business. Thank you.

It is absolutely wonderful! I can't say enough good things about how easy this system is to use and how well it works for our needs.

Pros

I found Corsizio very easy to learn, and I am basically "self-taught". If I have any questions, I email the support team and they get back to me very quickly with just the information I was looking for. They are smart, kind and extremely helpful.

Cons

The only thing our organization could benefit from that is not available with Corsizio is a "cart" system for families that are registering multiple kids in our classes.

Alternatives Considered

Reasons for Choosing Corsizio

We were forced to find a new online registration system after the company we were using went under 6 months into the pandemic. It was a blessing in disguise, as Corsizio is so much more user-friendly than our old system and it has been more economical for our organization.

Reasons for Switching to Corsizio

Cost was the main reason we went with Corsizio, but we also love that Corsizio is an Ontario-based company. Most of the other online registration systems we researched were based out of the States, and were very expensive. Corsizio is right here in our own province, and affordable!

Response from Corsizio

Here at Corsizio, we strive to always bring cost-effective value and features to all our users, and we loved hearing your experience and feedback. We really appreciate the time you put into writing the review.

Overall I really like it for its simplicity and clean programming, the interface jsut makes sense, which cannot be said from many other software platforms.

Pros

I love how well the software works, never freezes, never crashes, it's fast and efficient. I love the integration. The customer service is truly the best. It works really well for my associate teachers, they can set up their own courses and learned to use it really quickly, this means it is very well designed.

Cons

Would love to see multiple course registration, so students don't need to register each time, but once for several courses. Since we now run hybrid classes: (online and in-person at the same time, we could really use a capacity by ticket type feature within an event, also when sending memos, seeing who paid for what (ticket type) would be useful so that you can only send, for example, recorded classes to those people who paid extra for that additional service.

Multiple course discounts would also be great (for the same person)

price for sure (we are small) and also because most of the other software plattforms are geared towards drop-in classes or making appointments for private classes and have reduced features for "courses", meaning people signing up for 2-4 months at the time, rather than dropping in. Our model, which is more like a university or school with a program that develops, is less common in the "wellness and fitness industry", so the multiple-week registration is less developed in other platforms, unless you go to a specific dance-registration software

Corsizio have a wonderful support team who answer questions and fix any issues quickly. The software is constantly improving.

Pros

Corsizio allows my students to register for term lessons and workshops at my music school easily keeping admin tasks to a minimum.

We can easily keep track of how many students have registered, accept deposits on their term bookings, send bulk emails to participants, check who has paid and who is owing amounts, and keep track of all relevant student details all in one place.

Automatic reminder emails mean that I don't need to follow up individually with families and all admin is completed by customers rather than my team.

Cloning courses and term bookings is easy and Corsizio webpage/signup page is professional, well laid out and easy to use and customise.

We can make personal notes for each student and adjust their term fees if necessary.

Reporting is simple and accurate so we can quickly see our revenue and pending payments amounts for each course.

The Zapier integration means that we can automatically populate our email database with new registrations without the need for manual entries.

Cons

It would be helpful to have PayPal integration and save credit cards for automatic charging.

Overall, tool was good for the purpose of internal free training. Easy to register for and track attendees, as mentioned above we would like if the features indicated would be implemented in the future, adding to the calendar with relevant information is industry standard in the majority of these types of software.

Pros

The product was easy to configure and use. Contains all relevant features and the ability to register for free or for paid courses. Ability to add your branding. Has the majority of features needed from this type of software. We prefer that data is stored in Canada.

Cons

Lacking integration with video tools like Zoom or Teams. Adding the event to the calendar (in our case Outlook and .ics file) we found out insufficient as file does not have ability to include video meeting link or relevant information from Agenda. Also, no ability to print the agenda.
Tex editors are basic, require HTML for formatting.

Response from Corsizio

Thank you kindly for your review. The correct place for such private links, like a Zoom web conferencing link, is meant to be in the custom message of the automated confirmation and reminder emails, as those are private and directly sent to the attendee. The simple "add to calendar" action is public, and anyone can use it that can see the calendar. Please contact our support team or search our help docs to learn more.

Corsizio: really love it for pre-defined events

I am using it to manage appointments for training. It works best for events where I pre-create a training event that I can then sell to one or more customers.
It is not quite so good for situations where I may have time available and a range of training services that I could offer in that time, but which may have some options that go with them e.g. I'm available all day Friday and I offer a range of services with different durations, some of which can be extended with additional time options or equipment options. Some of my colleagues use a product called GetTimely, which is better at managing this type of appointment and allowing customers to self-serve. I would love it if Corsizio had more of that functionality available too.

Pros

Easy to use
I particularly value the Event Cloning function, use that all the time as I have the same types of events on a regular basis
I also really value the ability to have add-on features on events (I use this extensively when a customer wants to rent equipment from me for the event or book extra time)

Cons

With the event add-ons, I would like it if there was a special type of add-on which was extra time, for which I could supply a unit price etc (as I can do at the moment), but when selected, this option would automatically extend the finish time of the event (e.g. basic appointment is 1.5 hours, customer selects optional add-on of 1 hour of coaching time and this automatically extends finish time by the appropriate amount). Absence of this feature frequently causes extra admin for me to update finish time.

Response from Corsizio

Thank you kindly for your review. Our platform, as you already know, focuses currently on facilitating registrations and payments for group events. It is not geared for one-on-one or on-demand scheduling type of bookings. Those require a completely different type of service that facilitates such personal scheduling.

We agree that it would make Corsizio even more capable and support more use cases and customers if we also provide tools for such on-demand bookings, but for now our focus is on group events that are planned and configured before hand.

Thank you for choosing and using Corsizio. Your feedback is valuable to us as it will shape our future development road map.

Amazing software for very little money

We are a national and international motorcycle education and tour business. We run two-day classes in the United States, one-day classes in other countries, and 12 day tours abroad. Our students are U.S. citizens as well as citizens from dozens of other countries. Corsizio is extremely easy to use, and each class or tour can be incredibly customized down to the very last detail.

Pros

1. Corsizio gives you so many options to customize, and I'm very impressed with the amount of options provided. Anything and everything is customizable, including setting up access codes, custom add-ons, and setting dates when a class is open or closed for registration, etc. We provide multiple kinds of classes and can impressively customize each one.

2. During our last tour, I was able to log into Corsizio on my phone and manually add hotel charges to people's accounts. At the end of the tour, participants just logged into Corsizio and paid the pending charges with their credit card. It was so easy to do for us, and very simple for the participants as well.

Cons

The two major issues I have with Corsizio are the following:

1. We provide tours at over $6,000 a piece, and people have to pay a small deposit to reserve their spot. Corsizio does not allow for multiple small payments - instead, customers have to pay the remaining amount in one chunk, which is hard for a lot of people to do. We cater to international participants, so there isn't a way for them to send us a check for smaller amounts.

2. The main photo is huge and the presentation screen to potential students is less visually-appealing than other software I've seen.

3. Participants cannot transfer themselves to another class. I want participants to have control over their registration, so I have that toggle button clicked (which is a huge pro about this software). Unfortunately, since they can't transfer their registration, they end up cancelling their own registration, signing up for a different class and paying the deposit again, and then asking me to transfer their old deposit to the new class. I can't transfer their deposit - all I can do is transfer their registration - and now I have two registrations and two deposits for the same person in the same class. I end up cancelling one and adding a manual payment, but it just gets messy.

4. You have to set up a different account to accept different currencies. We have international students in our tours so this makes it difficult to collect money for just one tour.

Response from Corsizio

Thank you so much for a great and in-depth review. We appreciate the time you put into it, and we also appreciate the feedback on some of the areas that are unique to your operation and it's needs which may not be easily achievable currently on Corsizio. We will keep those in mind for future consideration.

Corsizio is easy to work with. I specially like the availability of reports pertaining to class registration and the number of people attending our classes. A great feature of Corsizio is the follow up/feedback from participants which is helpful in evaluation of our programs.

Pros

In 2020, while other senior centers closed due to Covid-19 Pandemic, here in Laguna Beach, we switched to offering online classes using Corsizio for all online registrations. Seniors adopted the system with ease and enjoyed being able to connect virtually. Corsizio was a lifesaver for us, and assisted us to stay in touch with our clients making sure they stay engaged and connected while sheltering in place.

Cons

Corsizio has helped our registration tremendously. We have not experienced anything in the system that needs improvement.

Response from Corsizio

We appreciate you using Corsizio and for taking the time to write a review. It is wonderful to hear that Corsizio has added value to your senior programs. We send you our best wishes for continued success with all of your events and registrations.

Corsizio helped our business grow

As above really, it’s been a game changer for us. We love it!

As above really, it’s been a game changer for us. We love it!

Pros

We are an events company and previously used our own website and sometimes Eventbrite to organise our events. We had limited features on our website and had to export to excel and create lists ourselves. Our web developer suggested Corsizio and we were quite concerned at first as we are not great with IT! But after a short tutorial we picked it up so quickly as it’s a realt simple system to use. We use it constantly every day and it helps us manage the 25 events we hold each month and keepin in touch with the 1000/1500 people that come along to the sessions. It’s had a massive impact on saving us time and money as well as making our communications seamless.

Cons

We would love to be able to add an amount to the options within an event; so if we create different tiers of tickets we could have 10 of each tier available rather than just being able to control the overall amount. It’s the only change we would suggest

Response from Corsizio

It is wonderful to hear your experience with Corsizio. We appreciate you taking the time to share all of this and we have taken note of the feature request you mentioned. We will continue to provide more value and keep our platform cost-effective for all. Thank you again.

There are now many competitors out there and it is probably time to take another look. To do that we need to think about the importance of different features.

1. Ease of registering (especially for more than one class at a time)
2. Ability to send out course reminders
3. Ease of programming
4. Ability to add registration options for attending (in-person, zoom or recording) for a course without having to set up the course 3 different ways.

Pros

The ability to send out reminders for specific course events

Cons

Customers do not like to have to register separately for each course (vs a shopping cart that gives them a total cost as they go, and allows them to go thru the checkout process ONCE). Capturing street address in contact info has been somewhat problematic with some not able to find their address. Some would prefer to use PayPal.

So much functionality comes with the price of additional need for QC.

Response from Corsizio

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

I wish I know about them years ago. Amazing platform. I took the time to write this review because the staff is amazing to customers.

Pros

This software has deep customization. You can do anything. It is also the only one I came across letting you take payments offline. If you have an issue or suggestion, you would not believe the customer support. They make me feel like I pay them six figures in fees the way they treat me as a customer. In reality, I am a tiny customer to them.

Cons

There are platforms that are so easy you don't even have to learn to use it. This takes a couple minutes to learn. A couple days to master all the options. Anything that has deep customization like this, takes a minute to learn.

Response from Corsizio

We are honored to have you as a customer and to use Corsizio for your business. We are truly humbled to read your wonderful review and greatly appreciate the time you took to share your experience. We will continue to improve our platform, provide all features to everyone, and support all of our customers equally.

We used to have a customized Wordpress implementation for our course registration, complete with shopping cart and calendar. Problem was that updates to Wordpress would break the site, leading to unpredictable outcomes for a critical function.
With Corsizio, I have the functionality of our old custom implementation, plus lots more (e.g. auto waitlisting, email notifications, tiered pricing, gift codes). The beautiful part is that these features are designed with the course registration process in mind.

Pros

I loved how I could go in and set up the course registrations for our school very quickly. The interface is very simple, and Corsizio is very thoughtfully designed. I was able to go from zero to full online implementation in less than an hour.

The other strong point is the Customer Support. It is provided over email and I found that we would get responses within hours. We had one customer who had issues with payment, the Customer Support person did the troublehooting and determined it was a customer internet error. All good!

Cons

I can't think of a negative. Maybe if the percentage that Stripe deducts were lower? But that's not a Corsizio issue.

Response from Corsizio

We are delighted to read about your experience with Corsizio and the value it was able to bring to your business. Our team will continue to add more value and maintain our effective and responsive support. We really appreciate you taking the time to write this review, and we wish you great success with your courses.

Good. What I like most, is the responsive and super friendly support.

Pros

Easy to use, very handy build ins, super helpful support!

Cons

Paying with other things then Credit Card, better calendar view (I usually have courses that happen on four following tuesdays and there is no good way to display that. I really miss an option to remind the instructors that there is a course starting. It would be nice to customize the layout of mails to customers a little bit more.

Response from Corsizio

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review and for using Corsizio to facilitate registrations to your classes. Your feedback and suggestions have been noted, and we appreciate you sharing that with us.

Very grateful for its existence and continued development, Thank you!!

Pros

really well-designed, thought-through software that brilliantly manages our bookings. being able to have a portal site within our own site is fantastic and all the information logging that Corsizio captures is really useful for future classes.

Cons

no cons that come to mind, I guess the one this is could there be a few more user side design options for look of portal site.

Response from Corsizio

Thank you very much for choosing Corsizio and for taking the time to share a review. We really appreciate it. Our team has some long term plans to add additional portal site layouts/designs to choose from in the future.

It is an easy and inexpensive way to allow new students to register for our programs. It is also very easy to move them from one class to another.

Pros

Everything is very organized and easy to find

Cons

When viewing a list of registered students I’m unable to quickly view essential info (such as their age or grade) unless I click individually on their name and open up each student’s profile one-at-a-time

Alternatives Considered
