Vendor Portal & Supplier Performance Management

Ivalua convinced us that its e-purchasing solution would make a significant contribution to the enhancement of the methods and metrics of supplier performance management. The technical and functional flexibility of Ivalua Buyer lets us adapt the solution to our own practices.

Pros

Easy supplier onboarding
Few customizations were needed
Extensive reporting capabilities. With Ivalua's OLAP Cube technology it is very easy produce analyses on the fly, covering many dimensions at a time.

Ivalua Buyer provide a lot of functionality but you can expect headaches and bugs after Go-live

Great tool to facilitate buying from vendors. Can be rolled out on a global scale.

Pros

It can be customized in so many different ways to meet business needs and it relatively affordable.

Cons

Poor customer support and not a polished product. Common to experience bugs and system breaks.

Pros

Very robust tool with tons of functionality. Highly customizable to your business needs.

Cons

Can run a little slow at times. Run in to random errors from time to time that are hard to track down and duplicate when trying to get customer support.

Cons

Personally, as an administration / configuror, there's lots to learn to make the software work the way per client requirements.
