Once you get past the payment (a bad feeling that doesn't go away because you know month after month after month, on top of all your life expenses, you will have this one on top, all year long... and if you paid the whole year, well, if you're not well-off or not using it for immediate return of investment, it's just a toy that costs way too much, maybe not in the sense of "money" but in the feeling of having to pay for some software which probably you never needed in the first place. Again, that goes for 90% of the software out there, but Animaker almost takes the cake with that month vs year pricing. (again, that just shows they're overcharging at least by that 50% they can afford to "lose") It's sad that everyone's adopting that scheme, especially with AI these days, even if the 365 structure started so many years ago, at least you could still find Software that you could use for life. If there was an upgrade, ok, that was up to you to pay for it or not, but you could still use the software. Now, with everything been run on the cloud or server side, you're actually just "renting" the software, because you don't have anything from it, other than the resulting files. Other than that, we depend on their resources. Anything over $10 usd for something virtual, no matter how useful it can be, is just an example of how greedy people can be: it is just air, nothing more, there's nothing physical, nothing to manufacture. Animaker is not different, only a little greedier than others

Templates leave you wanting more, they're great but maybe you could use a few more, but maybe that's just me wanting to play around with more toys than Animaker already offers. One thing I didn't like, the pricing, although this is something that's happening with all similar software and the merciless and greedy 365 legacy... pay each year, now pay each month, if you pay the hefty price for a year it will save you this much, and if you pay by month, the greed simply shows on how much the price increases. While this happens with every software out there, like copycats of the pricing structure, Animaker seems to be a little greedier than some other options, with the lowest plan being under $13 per month... But NO! wait! that's only if you pay the full year.. . If you need to pay monthly because you can't afford that one big payment, it's going to be twice the price, or almost. $12 and cents vs $24 usd. (ouch, that doesn't show a "discount" or saving as it's presented, it just shows that the software is at least 50% overpriced) Unfortunately that's become the norm for almost every software out there, those that stand out, are the ones that don't treat their customers as suckers who don't know better.

I have never had so much difficulty in using a software for professional creations. I was looking for an alternative to Canva, so that I can mix and match the tools from different softwares for my creations, but this software all it it did is limit my work and make everything more difficult. Pricing is definitely a steal and customer service is terrible. It's like it depends when they are online or not to "help" you, which they really don't cause they take so long to answer, is a different person that answers and you have to start the request again.

There is nothing I liked about this software.
Cons
The editing is useless, Canva is much better and less expensive.
Restricted to download my own creations and the pricing is waaay too expensive.

Easy intuitive features, and design. Simple to get started and create much more advanced animations than you thought. Allows beginners to create compelling content without a lot of knowledge or skills in animation and without a tool bag of other tools.
Cons
Sometimes there is lag, bugs editing. Fairly pricey, and they break AI features into other products like Steve.AI and hit you for upgrades to higher levels. More complex move animations aren't documented well, and no forums to review how others have achieved certain effects.

Pros
Animaker is one of the most unique tools I ever came across. It is very versatile and easy to use. In my case, I only needed one afternoon to master it. It has a user-friendly setup and plenty of options to customize your videos.
Cons
Most people use Animaker for small school projects. If you create a video with it without the premium, the software will leave a watermark in the video which is very unpleasant. Therefore, I see no point in subscribing to the premium since Animaker is always a one-time tool. It is a non-professional tool, so its quite limited in terms of sound and color control.

-It allows me to input my own music to use in videos-The animations are amazing and I love their movement. They also have a wide range of customization options-It is online which gives me access to all my projects where ever I am. I only first tried out Animaker to sketch out my script and concept before handing it out to a professional animator to create an explainer video for our new website. 5 hours later, I had an extremely great-looking video to share with our marketing team for review. Thanks to Animaker, I had the freedom to fully explore my thoughts without the limitation of having to explain it to someone else to execute. Oh, and it saved our budget as well.
Pros
As a first-time animator, I really didn't know what to expect. I figured it would take me stitching together a thousand micro actions to create just one motion or scene. To my surprise, the library had countless well thought out pre-made micro scenes that allowed me to develop all my story portions with extreme ease and in the shortest possible time. I love using it.
Cons
Editing pre-made templates can be a little exhaustive. I wish there was a way you only had to replace a character once and have it replicated in all other subsequent scenes.

I thought it was a cheaper alternative to Vyond. If you are looking for the same boring cartoons in the cheaper tier of Vyond, I guess this is a more affordable alternative.
Cons
Not only do they not provide the nicer animated cartoons as Vyond, but their customer support sucks. When I signed up for the entire year, thinking it was a bargain compared to Vyond, they never activated the membership. I thought my transaction had not gone through. I thought it was better that way, as I was not convinced it was money well spent. Months later, however, during tax season, as I checked my financial records, I noticed they had indeed charged me $588! I checked my membership and they had never activated it...it was still in trial mode. I asked for a refund. They promised I would get it in 7-10 business days. I never got it, and PayPal notified me that Animaker had canceled my membership (what membership??) and therefore they would no longer withdraw additional funds (how kind)! Soo unprofessional and with poor business sense. Every attempt to communicate with Customer Service was ignored. Not only do they have a mediocre product but they are also dishonest and unreliable. Yes, Vyond may be more expensive, but at least they offer better quality, great customer service, and honesty.

Animaker has given us the ability to compete with others in our industry. When paired with other software, the combination of resources is astounding, if not time consuming. We recommend having someone to focus on a project made with Animator, as opposed to a business owner that already has so much else to do.
Pros
The idea of Animaker itself is a game-changer for small businesses. We don't have to hire actors to promote our content, but we can certainly make them! We have created at least 15 characters that our audience has been able to recognize on follow-up marketing campaigns.
Cons
Options. While options are excellent and essential, it is important to have them properly categorized. It may be difficult, but this would make the platform a lot more user friendly. To be able to browse audio, for example, keywords and categories are essential. So it is important for new users to first browse content before doing their project ste-by-step.

I was able to become familiar with the creative environment in less than a day and produced my first explainer vid in probably 3-5 hours. Subsequent ones have taken less time. Their customer support is extremely high quality and they really listen to feedback (good and bad) and respond to feature requests very positively.
Pros
Easy to churn out high quality product. Love the character quality and huge library. Also easy to incorporate my own backgrounds and other images.
Cons
Voice AI quality leaves a bit to be desired. I have ended up using a combination of three services, each of which has its own pros/cons. But they all use one or more of IBM, Google and Amazon's ai engines for voice generation. I think Animaker will continue to improve in this area, and I hope one day I won't need to use other services to get human-like quality character voices.
