Some fields are not readily searchable, or smart. Many softwares today allow you start typing and it knows what you are looking for - making recommendation or gray line filling in so you can simply hit enter.

We chose Genius ERP because we are a custom, make to order manufacturer, and Genius allows us to design and release parts of the machines in Solidworks as they are complete to production. This allows us to manufacture complex machines in less time by getting a jump start on long lead items using just in time purchasing and production scheduling. Genius tracks all costs to each machine which gives great visibility into our margins that we can trace all the way to our financial reports.
Genius ERP is utilized throughout all our business processes from customer order through to final shipment and invoicing and then flows through to our financial reports. With all employees working in a single integrated system, it has allowed our process flow to become smoother with less questions popping up across departments.

I would love to see them update the UI. There are lots of clicks required with each transaction.

Packing list, invoice and PO are fine. My use is very limited to my job, I don't see the overall picture.

not friendly user. customerized report needs to be updated every update. search tools could be improved.

The sales staff did a very good job. After struggling through the initial set up. My team has adapted and we use it company wide. It has been a great tool and has a lot of potential for us.

The accounting is not as easy or as flexible as our previous accounting system. We do everything from manufacturing to retail sales, including having a dealers and distributor network. We have monthly fees due to customers and have service teams in the field. We have had to create several work arounds but overall it has been continually improving.

The software meets our needs; interfaces are intuitive, easy to use. People who work at Genius are competent and are able to understand our needs.

Documentation and user guide are not always up-to-date; I knew that a new customer service department was now in place. This surely will help get answers quickly to questions of use.

the underlying structure of the software was thoroughly scrutinized by our company auditor, something we failed to do on a previous software that we purchased. Their confidence allowed us to 'trust' Genius and really dig-in to make it work across our company departments. Genius is good on visuals as well as text.

We have been using Genius ERP now for over 4 years and are very happy with our choice. Very thorough and customizable. As there is plenty of features, we are still learning all there is to offer in Genius.

I don't have any other experiences in implementation and training of ERP but we had to spend a lot of time with employees before the go live.

Genius was the only product I saw that had the built in capabilities of configurating BOM's in a way that worked for our product line. It was cost efficient and the Genius team brought lots of expertise to the table.

It is a lot of work to get your team onboard with a new ERP like Genius. Patience is a key factor for implementation.

It does help for the daily work like making BOMs, checking inventory.

It's very out dated, not cloud based, no app, like 199x software.

We were operating without any form of ERP or similar software, so the switch was not such an easy task! Genius made it easy for us by visiting and analyzing our needs and capabilities from the start. The training sessions before our Go Live date were well organized and tailored to our needs and methodologies.

With less than a year in, we are now at the point of using the data that has been recorded in Genius for forecasting and reporting purposes, and this part may be a little less intuitive. Anybody with SQL experience could easily find their way, but not our case at the moment.

Genius' ERP is very easy to use. It is detailed and flexible. It connects all aspects of our manufacturing business.

To use Genius, you have to click and confirm almost everything. This is time consuming but is not too bad.

Extremely satisfied with the support and services that were provided through this company. Any problems were dealt with in a professional way. Anyone looking for this sort of service won’t be disappointed.

The reporting can be challenging. When a new report is required, we need Genius's help.

Easy to use, very effective to create Job-Lot, very easy to follow the production

The modification of job-lot brings difficulties, Some job-lot remains empty even if their production is complete

Modular setup makes it easy to allow different users access to what they need without extra complications.

Restriction settings on modules to restrict user availability can be a bit confusing, too many modules overlap in needs of access.

Easy to use, lot of oftions but some options are not adapted to us

Cannot enter the same lot number twice and some functionalities are hard to use.

Helpful for cost per project analysis. A lot of features so we can adapt to our own business.

Not friendly user. Need more training. The help guide is not really helpful when we do research on it.

All our process are now connected and in the same place.

We had to customize a lot BUT it was easy to do it with the team!

This is the most user-friendly ERP I have ever worked with. It reduced my use of spreadsheets for planning, it automates reports and it is very flexible for changes. I have worked with big ERPs before like SAP, and this is by far much more flexible and easier to use.

Support should be more personal. Maybe a chat function or direct phone number would be best. All they have is communication by email.

I liked it's system setup, ease of use, report editing ability is among the best with Report Builder and online control. BOM layout and ability to edit an order specific BOM with ease.

Version Specific: At the time of use, shop scanning required printed travellers to start and stop work - no paperless option was available at the time.

basics are fairly straightforward. Has features available which my company does not yet use.
