Turnit is steering us to the future

We started working with Turnit to streamline internal processes and cut costs of the back office operations, improve on-board sales and check-in process on international and intercity routes and also we wanted to create a modern and easy to use web sales system with multi-leg functionality and competitive loyalty programs.
Turnit was able to introduce us a comprehensive web-based reporting and dispatching system, installed on-board terminal that run always on-line sales system with rapid QR-code based check-in and designed a new web-based sales engine with multi-leg search capabilities that take into account pre-defined HUB-s.
Turnit delivered by cutting our back-office labor costs by 20%! And decreased average check-in time per coach by half!
Overall Turnit has very easy and fast communication, our questions/problems to the support or project manager get answers/solutions quickly and are thorough.

Pros

New architecture is great, it’s fast and complies with all our needs. Starting new lines, legs and all the logistics of the system is well built. Turnit also keep their word on the timeframe when new things will be done.

Cons

Missing city transport (not full priority). Logistics solution for the luggage would be a benefit. But this is already in the future roadmap.

Our company is one of the main players in the Scandinavian transport industry. Present in Norway and Sweden with 450 drivers in Norway and 150 drivers in Sweden, it manages approximately 250,000 transactions combined between the two countries. We needed secure ticketing solution to enhance customer experience, improve sales processes and increase its market share in Norway and Sweden.
Before Nettbuss was relying on a tailor-made solution provided by a small company.
Today, Nettbuss is benefitting from Turnit Ride system in full. We have went live both in Norway and Sweden with on-board-terminals. In Norway, Extranet is in use and Norwegian Nettbuss is now taking into use our DM (Data Management) in a larger amount and OM (operation module).
We also went live at the end of last year with webshop, B2B web cashier and the connections with following aggregators (Silverrail, Samtrafiken, Quickomat, GoEuro, Busbud, Info Easy, Klarna, Nets, Onelinecity, Checkmybus, Vipps, NeTex).
The goal is for Nettbuss to take up full usage of Turnit Ride solution, Phase 3, which is planned to go live in the next few months, will include more features for better usability and revenue growth.
Pros: On board application (Drivers application) is very intuitive - training takes ~30 minutes. We use Turnit Ride extranet reports mainly for cashflow related reporting.

There are very many functions and sometimes the learning curve for some things might be quite steep.
