Pros

Interface is easy and I’m able to publish my events in no time. Team is supportive and always there to help.

Cons

When carrying more than 5 events, they don’t all display on your dashboard without clicking “view more”. Unfortunately when you get to that next screen it takes away the ability to see overall ticket sales at a glance.

I have had zero issues in setting up and selling tickets, scanning tickets at concerts and payment has been very prompt.

Pros

Very easy to use. Staff are very helpful when things go wrong and reply to the chat window really fast. Event set-up is largely intuitive, ticket scanning was flawless. Low fees for customers, lots of fees payee selections . Emailing all guests is great. I don't know how much going into the weeds is valuable here, but I can say that this service has been excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

Cons

One of the only thing I can think of is that some of the language/terminology isn't clear at first, but the FAQ really helps with that so it's not a real issue. 1 thing I wish was clearer though is that I had to absorb a lot of fees in order to do full refunds for a cancelled event. I was told I would be invoiced. It wasn't super clear to me in all the reporting exactly what amount was what I paid. The breakdowns are numerous, there's a lot of info which is great, but that one thing wasn't clear to me. For my year end, doing my taxes, it would be nice to demonstrate that amount separately instead of it being included in the rest of the overall amounts. Support emails aren't replied to quickly, but then again the chat window is extremely fast and much more efficient for dealing with multiple issues at once, so forget that, I'm looking for flaws where there haven't really been any. None of this is really a big issue.

Prompter payment, better support, more streamlined/efficient set-up and scanning. The ease of creating "employees" with different abilities/restrictions ie. for the purpose of scanning without them having any access to anything but scanning, and not reporting or financial settings is great. If you use a concert halls door people frequently, this is great. You can make a bunch of generic employees and logins who can easily install the app on their phones or ipads and scan. It's very easy to set up and very easy to change permissions, passwords etc.

Great! All the events I go to in Calgary primarily use Showpass and it's nice to not think or stress about getting tickets.

Pros

Convienence! Showpass is super convienent for all the shows that I go to. It's easy to log in find tickets and download then even right outside venue entrances.

Cons

Logging in can sometimes be a pain, but other than that it's easy to use.

Pros

I love the support that I received. I'm not familiar with how to implement these systems and being completely new to this arena was a difficult thing for me, but Showpass guided me along the way and provided support to ensure a successful event.

Cons

I would love to be able to customize certain aspects like customer sign up when processing new orders- because not information was pertinent to us, but otherwise it was a great experience.

When we first started using Showpass there were many features not yet working properly or not fully developed, but the Showpass team has listened to suggestions from their clients and have been working steadily on improving the product. Many new features have been created that continually make it easier to use the Showpass ticketing system, and I am pleased with the overall improvements. I have faith that this product will continue to improve and exceed industry standards!

Pros

General Admission events are very easy to set up and put on sale quickly.

Cons

Some basic features are missing for assigned seating set up (example: a proper hold feature for large events), but the development team is working on this.

- Customer Support: The ShowPass team is outstanding at supporting clients, including having a dedicated point of contact and high responsiveness.
- Simple basic interface: It offers an easy and quick setup of events with options to include advanced features.

Cons

- Too basic food, beverage and retail components: These could be expanded to allow for more control over the sale of items during events. Also, POS capabilities are very limited.

Working with the Showpass team, setting up and implementing Showpass software, using the Showpass app, amazing response times to questions and issues that arise, finding customzation that fit our organization and our Showpass usage

Sometimes the back end can be a bit counterintuitive, with settings in unexpected places, but mostly we've had a great experience

I really liked using showpass - the website set up looked professional and I had lots of insights on sales. I had great control over ticketing, it was super easy to use directly from my phone, and our customers were generally happy with the ease of use

Pros

Showpass made it easy to go live with our ticket sales, to advertise our events and get information out to customers. E-tickets were great for tracking ticket sales and scanning tickets at the event was super easy for our volunteers to do

Cons

Set up took a long time, designing the website side of it was simple enough, but time consuming.

We had a successful event, and I really like the event summary that was emailed to me just before the event started so I could see how many people signed up.

Pros

One of our favorite features of Showpass is being able to create attractive event listings with images and font options. The WYSIWYG editor was simple to use and allowed for quite a few options.

Cons

On the administration side, the UI/UX could be better optimized so there are less "clicks" to get where you are going.

[sensitive content hidden] was able to train Bob Van Wart, the President and CEO who is the least techie person on our team within less than 2 hours over a Zoom call! Bob was able to explain the product to the rest of the team and once they were trained, it has become the #1 enabler for our plans to expand our Holiday Magic productions throughout the Maritime Provinces starting in 2024.

Pros

Intuitive, the before purchase and after purchase support has been industry setting. Our relationship manager, [sensitive content hidden], is so hands on and understands our business so well we had an absolutely seamless set up. The training for our people has to be the best in the industry.

Cons

I have to be honest and tell you that we have have 100% satisfaction rate with Showpass and the tech support we've had. The Foundation I work with has moved all their ticketing requirements now to Showpass.

It is really user friendly, but still safe enough my passed are protected from others

Hasn’t happened to me yet, but sometimes when tickets or on accessible via mobile or online, technical difficulties can occur.

Time is of the essence so I just want a quick and easy way to purchase tickets for my event and my experience with Showpass was just that. A few clicks and I was able to checkout and the payment process was a breeze.

Pros

Great user interface which was easy to navigate. Also very easy to navigate their site from a mobile device.

Cons

Pricing for the event was a bit high but I don't think this is a Showpass issue
