I worked doing billing with PROCAS and used the time keeping system.
I got the benefit of using a system similar to Costpoint that offered everything I needed for government contract accounting.
I liked that it was a simplified version of Costpoint. It had all of the same bells and whistles but were much easier to understand and use. I also liked the customer service. When I called with a problem I received the best service around. I would get my questions answered and even additional support if needed. Reps were very nice, friendly and eager to assist!
Maintained books for multiple government contractors.
Accurately kept the books for several government contractors.
Procas reinforces basic accounting principles in your mind, because it's so manual. It's a simple software- meaning it's quite easy to catch on to after a few months.
Procas is NOT user friendly (although they have a software update in the final stages of testing, and it's wonderful). It requires extensive training and significant accounting knowledge.
