Ramco provides a web based solution capable of restricting access based on defined roles that align with our business needs. The application has provided process level controls and enhanced reporting capabilities that meet the needs today, yet is capable of supporting our future growth and new processes.

By providing a wide range of option settings, Ramco can be tailored to support the business requirements of multiple operating entities. This allows large organizations with multiple operating certificates to specify different roles, and rules that align with the individual operators operation specifications.

With the integration of supply chain and maintenance business components, inventory controllers, and parts buyers can easily provide coverage for AOG material demands as well as forecast future scheduled material needs. This allows the organization to leverage just in time material coverage and operate with less working capital sitting stagnant in the stock account. The system is invaluable for monitoring vendor core liabilities and facilitates processes for the timely return of core parts.

Ramco facilitates multi stage auditing processes for compliance entries and records upkeep. This allows administrative support personnel like maintenance controllers, records, and quality assurance to be located in a separate geographic location from where the work is being executed. Having streamlined processes for communicating work accomplishments through the application,

Possibly one of the worst programs ever cobbled together.

On the outside, you'll be baffled by the variety of tasks that this program is capable of doing, it does it all. However, as they say, "jack of all trades, master of nothing". The processes and procedures for maintenance and inventory is a complete waste of time and employee resources. As you get deeper into the software, you will find it even more confusing and frustrating. Functionality has been built into SOME of the components but it just seems like a patchwork of bandaid fixes. As an operator, you should be able to bring a new hire online within a week or two of working in the system, but, after years of struggling with this program even the most computer literate people cannot get it to run smoothly on a consistent basis.

Support is pretty basic and the in program error messages make absolutely no sense at times, as though it was translated from a previous 4 languages with google translate, by a 4 year old child.

This program is about as intuitive as a dime store fortune telling machine and I would recommend that you avoid this disaster of software.

If you decide to go with this program, please enjoy the pages filled with useless links and dead ends.

The other "consultants" that have commented here have obviously never used the software but have been drawn in by the shiny packaging and massive commissions.

Please do not buy this program, there are so many other more useful and economical solutions out there. Winair, camp, ams, microsoft excel to name a few.

Pros

Job security and an hourly wage.

Cons

The useless help section and the unintelligible error messages.

Ramco has been an great company to work with. Their support team and executive is knowledgeable and will work with their clients to establish needs and appropriate changes.
As with any software provider the implementation is key to success and the go live requires a "leap of faith" that works well when it is supported by every level of the business.

Pros

The tool provides multiple paths that can be taken to arrive at a solution which makes it flexible a flexible product.
The front line mechanic page is very well structured.
The after purchase support is excellent and Ramco continues to work with us well into the production to support changes in our business and the tools..

Cons

Could be more intuitive in design. It is not a tool that can be picked up without detailed training.
Their base product would benefit from more customizable dashboards

Overall experience I have with Ramco has been great. Feedback between us and the Support Team is wonderful. Lots of changes we have requested and the Team has been able to fix or direct us in the correct directions.

Pros

The Ramco software I like most is the fact that it allows the company to track a large amount of data between departments. Ease to upgrade to help users access and complete their jobs without issues.

Cons

The ability to add and remove hyperlinks for each user or role.

Being a strategic turnaround and performance improvement consultant to large Operators and MROs, I have to be pessimistic, grounded and realistic about the guidance I offer to my customers.

Be that as it may, the depth of capability and value that Ramco provides matches the best in the MRO Software game; atleast based on our review and and evaluation.

The time spent on mastering the deep functionality is made easy with the well thought through user interfaces. It has improved the way we manage our airline and MRO customers.

I only wish they have a mandarin version of their software to cater to my new market, China, which I hear is coming soon.
