Quality Product and Very User Friendly

Pros

Event Rebels is very user friendly, from both the admin and user side. We've used the software for over 5 years now for our conference registrations - both attendee and exhibitors. The various reports are extremely useful, and you can even create your own custom report. It does have it's quirks, but overall we are very satisfied with our services.

Cons

Sometimes I think the price is a little too high, especially when the software is becoming more and more accessible to the admin. For example, most edits/additions we have to make we are able to do ourselves after the initial set up - which is great - but then what are we paying for?

Also, sometimes the payment reports are not accurate - if someone pays and then needs refunded a %, it changes the amount paid to not match the amount owed. It's a one off situation, but it causes confusion at times for final reports.

It is very back end friendly, any issues and we can contact customer service and they are right there to respond. We are a non-profit so the price point Is well within our allotted budget. The value for what you pay for is amazing. We are able to replicate our template for each event with ease which is great. The front end is very user friendly. Overall this is the perfect system for our team.

Pros

It improved the user interface experience which was very important. Could take into account all of the different types of registration that we have.

Cons

Lack of a backend interface to make it easy for me to upload information like sessions.
The integration between ERMobile and EROnline was not seamless--for example, the session information had to be re-entered.

Being a avid user, i have found it very easy to train new staff with no registration experience at all on how to use the product. The owners and management of Event Rebels are responsive and listen. We look at them as a true partner as they provide valuable input into our processes so we are maximizing our use of the tools they provide.

I can assure anyone who begins using this tool will be satisfied as well as surprised by the ease of use, value provided and efficiencies gained by becoming a client.

Pros

1. The value received on the product.
2. The ease in which we can make adjustments in the system with little to no programming experience.
3. Ease of reporting for financials, weeks out, discount codes used, etc.
4. Ease of integrating floor plans when using ER Floor plan module, registering speakers if using Speaker ER module
5. Integration with our AMS which is iMIS Cloud
6. ability to customize to our specific event (we have 8+ events per year in ER) and all have their own brand.

Cons

Having used this software for a number of years (8+/-), I have a difficult time finding something that I don't like about the software. When have found something that we think needs improved, management is willing to listen and do the upgrades/improvements especially if they are not a one off suggestion.

Full Featured Registration and Speaker Management Solution

Our AMS did not have the capability to register attendees for our annual conference, without many workarounds. Another association recommended Event Rebels. We are very pleased working with them. They are easy to work with and offer great support. It has been 4 or 5 years now, maybe more.

Pros

We wanted to provide a great user experience. Event Rebels offered us a cost effective way to provide a positive user experience during the registration process. Members just login with their email and as they register there are drop-downs with seminar and speaker information so they can make an informed choice. Non-Members can register with their email which sets up their account... then they enter their name, company etc. Check out is easy. Also we can use various promo codes. There are lots of reporting options as well. We use the ER Speaker module as well for our call for presenters. Those wishing to speak submit their presentation information and once it closes, reviewers are able to easily rate and comment on each presentation. Speaker information is then integrated with the registration system. This is a big time saver. There are many ways to communicate within the software. Support is great. Always there when you need them.

Cons

Nothing really. We have used the software for many years and never an issue.

I run a scientific conference for 150-200 people annually, usually with set-up and registration over the Christmas period. This registration system provides all the registration and payment options we need, and issues all sorts of useful reports on the click of a mouse. Having used the system for 4 or 5 years now, I can't imagine not having it.

Pros

- great suite of customized reports
- ease of handling money (internationally)
- captures all the data we need
- saves piles of time for our volunteers
- great responses from the company, even over holidays

Cons

- cannot really think of anything I didn't like about it - everything works well
