I've really enjoyed my experience. Customer service has been great and they truly work with you on hiring candidates. It's great to have people working hard to help you achieve hiring goals.
Pros
I like the transparency of the software - candidates can tell you exactly what they're looking for and pay is transparent up front.
Cons
As with any sourcing tool, some candidates do not understand the need to have more complete profiles. I've encountered a few (although this is not the majority) people who only list their job title and where they worked. Then there's no resume attached to the profile, and the LinkedIn profile they attach is not complete either. It makes it difficult to assess a candidate when there's no information on them.

Pros
I like that candidates are primed to interview and eager to find a new role. It's easy to use, adds candidates frequently, and is overall my favorite platform!
Cons
I like using it to find candidates. I could do without some of the back-end work (like marking when a candidate has interviewed) etc.

Hired is amazing-- I have been in recruiting in the SF Bay Area for ~7 years and touched multiple agencies, in-house companies, and every sourcing tool out there along the way. Hired is the best of the best.
Pros
Hired is hands-down the #1 sourcing tool for tech recruiters. Candidates are ready to make the move, every detail you could possibly need is right in front of you, and candidates come from top companies all-around. The account management and customer support team are amazing to work with-- responsive, extremely personable, and as hands-on or hands-off as you want them to be. Unlike competitors, Hired has a built in scheduling tool and ATS integration that makes everyones' lives a lot easier. (A New York based competitor advertises this tool, but it does not execute-- the competitor's tool does not push to the correct req, you can't see the candidate profile unless you were the person who requested the interview, and whole bunch of other things that makes things pretty difficult). Hired's platform is the opposite of this. Highly recommended for anyone in recruiting.
Cons
Tech recruiting is competitive any way you put it. Losing candidates because they have other offers is what I probably like least about Hired, but again-- it's a competitive market on and off of the recruiting platforms.

Good. I've been to a few interviews through them and interviewed a few candidates through them too. I didn't take/get any of the jobs and we did not end up hiring the candidates - but the quality on both sides was high.
Pros
It makes it extremely easy to start a dialogue with high quality companies from the perspective of someone looking for a new job. The interface is super easy to use and the vetting process seems to be pretty good.
Cons
Its prohibitively expensive for smaller companies so in a way its not much different from using a recruiter - although I have to admit the quality of the candidates and the companies is generally much higher than when recruiters are used.

Great service for finding candidates
Reviewed on 2018/01/24
Pros
The software really streamlines the entire process by emphasizing transparency. I've been on both ends of the platform (business side and candidate side), and the product is very easy to use - pretty much set it and forget it (until you get matches to review). Customer service is great, as well!
Cons
The company has gone through a lot of change in the last year and a half, and we're not seeing a heavy focus on just engineering roles. While this product is great, it's pretty limited in the roles you're trying to fill, which is going to make it tough for Hired as LinkedIn continues to expand and grow.

My overall experience with Hired was a disaster. I would not recommend this website as it is more expensive than competitors for exemple, and as less features.
Pros
Even if my experience was very bad, I can say that the UI of the website is very good and that it's great.
Cons
I was not convinced by Hired: I tried the website two times and I never got access to it. This website wants to make hiring an elitist process... and it does not work.

If you need a pipeline of generic engineers then this is a great place to start. When your company's needs become a bit more specific, Hired's value will start to dwindle.
Pros
They have a lot of engaged candidates and most of them respond to you. Regardless of a positive or negative response, it's always nice to have people respond to your inquiries.
If you're looking for a full stack/backend/front end engineer then this place has a ton of them. If it's anything specific then a traditional team search would be more appropriate..
Cons
The quality of people us to be better. For some reason, the folks who I am talking to now feel like they haven't really been vetted by anybody. I've even seen some suspicious resume in the site.

Good candidates on there but there really should be a way to go into a certain account and see all the interactions with that person.
Pros
Easy to see line up pf candidates and send them a message, also very easy to schedule interviews. I like that it syncs with my google calendar automatically.
Cons
Very hard to review a comprehensive account of people contacted, rejected, interviewed by myself. The list only goes down as far as last 10-15 people contacted.

Overall Hired has been fantastic. I really enjoyed the layout of the site and tons of companies will reach out to you if you sign up.
Pros
I have used Hired as a software engineer when I am in the job search process. This is one of the only platforms where employers actually reach out to you asking for an interview without you having to apply. I have gotten tons of great interviews from this site.
Cons
I wish they allowed you to see what companies are hiring so you can reach out to them as well but nonetheless there is already plenty of inbound requests coming to you.

Great place to diversify your search for technical talent.
Pros
I like that I can source candidates who are active in their job search that are similar in industry, and filter my searches. You can also get more insight into the candidate from your account manager which is helpful when competing against others. I also like that it integrates with Greenhouse which makes the export and source tracking easy. The fact that you can add people to your searches is great for collaboration.
Cons
I don't like that some markets aren't supported (for us it's Raleigh, North Carolina) and that some of the filtering seems limited when I am trying to get creative with my search strings. I wish we had more hires from the time spent sourcing.

Pros
I found the salary and summary info were very easy to find and the platform as a whole was very intuitive where I did not need to watch videos to learn the platform.
Cons
For some of the more niche roles, it was difficult to find candidates since most of the pre built in config is meant for the more popular tech stacks [Java etc].
