In my role as Content Marketing Manager, I have to write a lot!

Emails, blogs, articles, guest posts, web pages... and I couldn't do it without Grammarly. Grammarly helps me structure my sentences for the best reader and thinks so that I don't have to. It's the extra team member I need!

Nothing. It really does everything I need!

I like how it enhances my writing and helps me achieve excellence as an editor. It catches some things I don’t, and really helps me enforce my company’s SOP

I feel like it is overrated in some ways. It suggests my writing or phrasing is incorrect when it’s okay in the given context or I’m just using company verbiage. It often doesn’t kick in with corrections when I need it to, catching the mistake too late in the process.

What I liked most about Grammarly Business was how seamlessly it integrated into our communication process, ensuring that every message we send out is clear, professional, and on-brand. As a community manager for multiple brands, it's crucial for me to maintain a consistent tone and engage with our audience effectively. Grammarly Business helped elevate our team's writing, saving us time while maintaining authenticity, which is key in building trust and fostering a strong sense of community.

What I liked least about Grammarly Business was that while it's great for catching general grammar issues, it sometimes suggested changes that didn't quite align with the tone or voice we use in our community engagement efforts. In some cases, it would recommend more formal wording when we intentionally want to keep things casual and approachable. It's useful, but we had to double-check certain suggestions to ensure they fit our brand’s personality and vibe.

The simplicity is number one. Being able to have templates to share with teams across a far distance is great. It's the best way to have a comprehensive voice for a company while also allowing individual identity to show through in a professional format and setting.

With the AI aspect there can be a learning curve for initial implementation. Yet this is more thorough and intuitive than trying to have a team come up with the same ideas.

What I like most about Grammarly Business is its comprehensive suite of writing tools that streamline the editing process, improve clarity and professionalism in communication, and ultimately enhance productivity and collaboration within the organization.

What I like least about Grammarly Business is the potential dependency it may foster among users, leading to a reliance on the tool rather than developing individual writing skills.

Grammarly’s AI, while sophisticated, is not perfect and may occasionally provide incorrect or unnecessary suggestions. Relying too heavily on Grammarly can also lead to a dependency, where you might miss opportunities to develop your own editing skills.

Honestly, it's challenging to pinpoint a significant downside. However, the initial learning curve for some team members adapting to the tool was a minor hurdle. Once overcome, Grammarly Business proved highly beneficial.

Grammarly is overall a useful tool for our business
1. The suggestions work in the web and most apps across the computer, so it integrates well into everyday work without changing people's workflows much
2. The tone suggestions are genuinly useful, and I do catch myself using a bad tone sometimes with it and change it to be more helpful
3. The 'brand dictionary' is useful to exclude specific words from being flagged up

1. There isn't a way to exclude a certain paragraph of text from Grammarly suggestions. For example, we have a paragraph of text at the bottom of every email we send and this always comes up with red lines over it which is annoying because we do not need it to check that text
2. The analytics is rather barebones, it's not terrible but I would like some more options to dive deeper into.
3. For me, sometimes the lines under the words do not line up right on my screen which causes red lines to appear randomly on my screen which isn't nice to look at.

The integration within the browser and applications is really impressive. The user-friendly design and interface make it so easy to navigate, and the suggestions along with overall impressions of the entire paragraph are truly valuable and helpful. I thought I was a good writer before using this and now I know my work is great.

Sometimes errors or poor word choices are highlighted and I have the option of choosing their correction, making my own correction, or ignoring it. If I choose theirs, it occasionally ends up making them wrong. Just have to watch closely but this is very sporadic.
