TIMS Review

Our primary business problem was having too many invoices and too many telecom vendors that were difficult to manage and negotiate both contractually and from a service perspective. TIMS has been essential in allowing us to focus on taking care of things that have a direct impact on patient care instead of managing telecom vendors and looking for cost savings without a complete understanding of the market and what charges might be exorbitant.

Pros

I like the visibility I get from TIMS into our entire portfolio of telecom contracts. Having a simple but central console to look at everything from a few custom views and a single window is a huge improvement to keeping track of things using spreadsheets and various other tools that aren't quite as complete as TIMS.

Cons

I haven't found anything that is a true dissatisfier at this time. I have a lot of road to cover and so far there haven't been any issues.

As I sated, overall TIMS is very functional just some tidbits here and there that could improve user experience.

Pros

Ease of use is my biggest Pro. It has shown improvement that creates a more efficient work flow

Cons

There are some point of software that seem a bit redundant. Sometimes responses to a ticket or MAC are delayed

Overall great tool for managing multiple carriers, services, and accounts. Due to the complex nature and diversity of carrier invoicing, TIMS is helping us understand our spend and what we have deployed per location to assist in decision making and cost efficiencies.

We've discover MANY services that we thought were long ago terminated and hence forgotten, where the costs were buried in carrier invoices for years.

Pros

Web based
billing history
integrated service request modules
auditing
Customizable

Cons

Reporting, though flexible, is not always intuitive/logical
As deployed, there was considerable room for improvement in the carrier DID management
Required "tweeking" by Tellennium to even see/understand legacy PRI details

Great Experience. Getting Accurate data and useful report helps us avoid blind spots. Visibility is Key!

Pros

The breath and dept of data they collect with straightforward reporting.

Cons

Some normalizing of the data would be helpful. We have multiple Names / Address etc but they still refer to the same Location.
