AA is one of the best RPA tools that I have ever used. It's very user-friendly and even if a person is from a non-technical background, still they can manage to automate some of their basic mundane processes.

When it comes to Citrix automation, AA doesn't provide enough support or there are very few features or commands available to automate Citrix or mainframe applications.

Automation Anywhere provides powerful tools for automating tasks, but I think many of the commands that AA implements are complicating life like string manipulations, however I do like the Web Data Extraction
because it gives a great experience while automating web applications and extracting data from web pages.

Making things easy enough to allow non developers to make dev tasks and automations is not a good idea : these non developers will make low quality and bad coded solutions thatw will make the developer's task more complex.

I love the way the drag and drop features are incorporated so the developer can focus more on semantics rather than the syntax. The ease of variable declaration, default variables and clipboard functionality does make it easier to develop as well as manage various elements of the program. Not to mention the various interfaces it can interact with that widens your automation scope beating off the limitations set by competitors.

You can launch the in-built Mainframe Emulator only when an automation is running. You need to run the automation and use pause after the desired steps if you want to capture or analyse the next steps. this some times make the development hectic.

i think Automation Anywhere has transformed itself from 2004 to 2020. Its been a long journey and they are on the top of the RPA market.
The recent release of A2019 version make automation possible for almost everything in industry.

Google Sheet, AWS , NLP integration is making it a big player.

Excel Advance Commands which are added with a unique web Based interface make it user friendly.

Automation Anywhere is a the only tool in the market where a novice person can learn and start automation without any prior knowledge of programming.

Its really doing an amazing job.

OCR inside Automation anywhere by default supports ABBY's fine reader. I guess they can change it and try to embed Flexi Capture or can atleast give easier way to integrate it easily,

The functionalities of the software are user friendly and easy to understand. A huge amount of data can be fetched from excel or database very easily and within few minutes.
Also the GUI of the software is excellent. Installation and technical specifications are done easily.
The OCR helps us to read handwritten or printed text from the documents very easily.
Emails are also sent with attachments to the user very quickly.
Also scripts can be run which reduces half the work.

Object Cloning has issues with respect to the resolution of system varies.
The software is restricted to only Internet Explorer and not any other browser.

Best thing about Automation Anywhere is to automate things with high security and also to reduce our manual efforts that frees up time to innovate. Even by adhering to regulatory compliance, we can get the tasks done more efficiently through Automation Anywhere.

There were few commands which needs improvement in behavior to solve problems like "selecting from drop-down", "Checking/Unchecking fields" etc. The available commands of AA can be improved to solve varying problems.

RPA provides things to be done in faster way and gives new way to technology.
It Reduces manpower.
It Makes the things to run fast and less chances of error.
It helps in Increasing work competencies.

Still there are few things which couldn't be automated.
Many tools are developed now and they are trying to make feasible but still not work on Oracle apps.
Other than this no as such cons.

The setup of servers, licenses, and credentials can be a bit troublesome during initial instillation but afterwards it is rare to come across issues regarding them.

Ease of use. The product is easy to learn and automation of processes are faster.

The functionalities are limited - Ex: Excel as of now has only 10 commands. The product would be great if these functions can be increased or added.

The best thing about Automation Anywhere is the low cost to high savings ration which always works out with our clients. The infra is also not that expensive and the tool itself is very easy to use. Automation Anywhere's latest IQ Bot tool is the starting point of AI and it has already started solving many of our clients problems with processing digital documents

One of the drawbacks that our team came across while using Automation Anywhere was that it cannot automate steps in a virtual machine and the debugging system is not good enough.
The most concerning thing about Automation Platforms is that every year they launch new versions and it is very difficult to convince the client regarding the business continuity.

Easy-to-use, intuitive software that can be used both by experienced developers as well as newbies. In terms of features this is standalone the soft that stands out from the crowd, one of the most ground-breaking features on the market. Make no mistake, you just cannot go wrong with automation anywhere, so unless you want to waste your time, do not go for any other tool, cause none of them can offer you as much in terms of reliability and scalability as Automation Anywhere.

There are basically no downsides. Maybe it could be better off with some kind of advanced AI support (although IQ bot is pretty decent).

Easy to use anyone can easily learn this tool.

Some features missing as per developer perspective and if botinsight will be freely added to CR than it will be an plus point for all.

Its costly and has bugs, sometimes its not compatible with the software but they give a patch and it works.

The Optical Character Recognition that gives 98% accurate result.
Metabots that can automate any thing .

Client behaves weird at times and gets logged out in the middle and work won't be saved

It's very easy and intuitive to use. Installation has excellent documentation so if you run into any issues, a quick Ctrl+F on the documentation will help you sort it out.
Users pick up on the suite very quickly.

It needs very powerful PCs to work. If a user has a 5th gen i5 U processor with 8gb of RAM and a regular SSD it wil barely work if the user is multitasking.
If AAE people improve performance, it will be by far the best RPA suite I've tried.

Integrating different technologies

Low cost easy so use and quick ROI. Too many areas to decide whic area to start with.

Greate tool for learning Automation. As a compare to other tools its good

Some Banking related problem, Financial related problem, PDF Automation etc

It is easy to use, you can build bot much quicker with recorder.

Has lot of installed functions which are easy to understand. Aso, good trainings.

The user friendly interface and the command with description.
Also the line interface make its easy for developer to get the idea of entire process in one shot.
The loops are up to the mark and solve complex problem quickly.

The Xml command is not so useful when it comes to getting the value from child nodes separately.
Also Excel command doesn't have the concept of data table due to this we have to iterate entire data and we con not able to find one required from all available data.
