This software has been a game-changer. I'm so glad we no longer have to worry about dropping webinars, losing connections, or battling bad customer service to get anything donw.

Pros

We recently switched from WebinarJam to Demio, and we couldn't be happier. The ease of use, integrations, and customer service by far outperform any service we've tried to use before!

Cons

The only con I've found so far is that you can't simulate a "live" chat through automated webinars. But I've been told this will change in the future.

Very satisfied with Demio. I don't have webinar needs very regularly, but I will definitely consider them in the future.

Pros

I chose Demio because I wanted an easy webinar solution, and it definitely delivered. I like the different options for presenting, that it has interactive tools, chat, great statistics, etc. And I was very impressed with the quality of the customer support team. Really responsive, fast and kind.

Cons

I didn't like that the reminder emails were not very customizable and the Spanish version could definitely use some improvements.

Overall, without dealing with customer service, the platform was nice to work with. They wound up lowering their plans, which was nice, but still with the blatent disregard to help people access the data and providing excuses as to why they cant to force you into an account is appaulling.

Pros

What I DID like about the software is that it did help us save a ton of time on demos.

Cons

We wound up canceling because of cost. However, good customer service is something to be desired. We canceled and needed access to our data. Our account was canceled 1 day prior to us asking them for our data and they blatantly said no, and that we essentially had to pay a full month to even get our data.

Our first webinar experience was made super smooth and easy by using Demio. Our company is just getting starting organizing webinars, and using Demio made the whole thing less scary. Reliable and easy, for the organizer and the attendees.

Pros

1. Very easy to get started, everything was very intuitive.
2. Perfect to skip the download part of a webinar, makes the experience super smooth for the attendees.
3. The automatic recording of the session works beautifully.
4. Absolutely love the setup with split screen between webcam and slides 🙌🏻

Cons

1. Would love to be able to see my notes on screen while presenting my slides, miss this function.
2. It would be great if the system was directly connected to Hubspot (although it does work ok with the Zapier solution as well)

Poor and unethical treatment of customers - beware

Unfortunately it has gone from very positive to extremely negative... exacerbated by the fact that the customer service/billings team have simply gone radio silent and ignoring our request for this to be reviewed.

Pros

The software was simple to set up and offers a fully browser-based solution. We enjoyed the platform for a few short months which had great features for engagement.

Unfortunately poor customer service has left us a very bad taste in the mouth, and shows Demio as a platform that does not care about its users or retention.

Cons

- Technical glitches during the broadcast - every time a presenter muted it would switch sound/speaker settings for the other presenter and some of the audience... which meant they could no longer hear the presentation.

- The biggest con is the customer service. After a decision to temporarily pause our account due to trialing out an alternative software (though with the intention to return to Demio), we asked if it was possible to pause our account and keep everything active so that we could return.

The customer service agent advised it was not possible unfortunately and to cancel the account instead. The account was canceled immediately, but it was already 1 day after the bill for that month had come out.

Despite this, the billings team let us know kindly that "All sales are final" with a redirect to illegal sales terms and conditions claiming that consumers are NOT entitled to a 14 day cooling down.

It is a real shame and pure unethical to see platforms that do not have a care about retaining their customer relationships or loyalty, and instead treat them as just another sale (even if the goods/service were not actually delivered).

Dont use this - Zoom is much better - Even if you buy, sign up for monthly plan first

I made a mistake of signing up to annual plan. By the time I had made up my mind to go back to zoom, their refund window got over. My request to give me a prorated refund for unused period got rejected. Money went waste & so was precious hours trying out this system. Hope these vendors have better & fair refund terms for people who trust them & sign up to their annual plans. Going back to zoom & not coming back here again.

Pros

Ease of use of the system. Very basic and simple features in basic plan.

Cons

Many key features are missing. There is some issue with the code. Two main problems were that the presentation's complete formatting used to get corrupted after loading it on Demio. Never happened with Zoom. Plus screenshare was not at all upto the level of what is offered in Zoom.

Very nice webinar platform - good value for your money!

Pros

It is a very simple yet elegant platform. Easy to deploy, customize and use. It can be customized and integrated with your website without intrusive logos. All colors can be adjusted to your brand.

Cons

No subscription would allow you to have all the options you may want (like an automated webinar) for a smaller audience. If you need those options, you need to pay for a much larger subscription which you may not need. There is no ala carte way to pick up what you need.

Demio is a great selling platform, but it doesn't meet all of our needs as we focus more on training and education.

Pros

Easy to use for the admin and viewer;
the platform is good looking and its overall simple design is very well received by attendees - one of the best looking webinar platforms I've seen;
recent updates make banding and customization a bit better - they are continually improving;
VERY responsive customer service!

Cons

customization and branding on notifications and emails is limited;
can't quiz for education purposes and can't track polling questions;
limited metrics;
using YouTube to show a video during a webinar is tricky and not seamless

All the tasks involved in creating, streaming and communicating webinars use to take a lot of time and effort. Demio make everything easy and smooth, giving our team more time to dedicate to other efforts. I've tested a lot of webinar tools and found this to be the best UX around with great functionalities.

Pros

Easy to use and setup, don't need to download anything to access the webinar, reminders via email, chat, resources and pools during the webinar!

Cons

Lack of native integration with Hubspot - let's see how zapier work on that.

I can't think of any cons, it isn't the cheapest but definitely the best.

The Best Decision I Have Made!

Being new to virtual learning, I had a few times that I needed assistance. I received swift, professional and friendly responses each time. The team communicates well in advance of updates. I have never had such an incredible experience with ANY company! Trusting a partner with my brand is the highest compliment and Demio has my trust 110%!

Pros

This software was built with marketing in mind. It is simple to use, customize and brand. I have trained in-person for 20 years and when the pandemic hit I did extensive research for on-line seminar platforms. After witnessing the mess of Zoom meetings first hand with my daughter's school, I was determined to do better for our clients. I found Demio. I have conducted over 15 webinars with this software and each time, I was asked about Demio as people raved about the "no download" ease of use!

From registration, room set up and follow-up, Demio has me looking like a ROCK STAR ( and I have NEVER done webinars until now)

I haven't found anything I haven't liked so far...

Demio has made it possible for our commpany to carry out a large number of webinars constantly, these webinars have allowed us to communicate openly with a large number of clients at the same time, in addition, I have loved the way in which this platform it allowed me to add a lot of collaborators and organizers, as this made organizing and scheduling our webinars much easier. Each webinar within this platform was automatically recorded and stored in the Demio cloud, which allowed us to access the recordings of any webinar when necessary. The platform in general behaved excellently, it allowed us to create webinars with a large limit on participants, in addition, it allowed us to enjoy personalized invitations for participants and automated reminders for each participant.

Pros

The first thing I love about this platform is that you can schedule or automate webinars, you can create webinar rooms to start automatically at a specific time or on a specific area, plus you can also schedule webinars for specific dates and send invite links to specific clients. Also, I love being able to fully customize the entire interface of the webinars, this platform allows me to modify the interface that the participants of my webinars will see, it allows me to add headers to my webinar or different extensions to make a more complete webinar. I also love that it allows me to interact in a very diverse way with the participants, this platform allows me to create surveys, questions and answers and also allows me to enjoy a real-time chat which helps to improve the interaction between all the organizers and the participants of each webinar.

Cons

One of the main negative points of this platform is that there can be various problems between latency and video or audio quality problems if the user does not have a fast enough internet connection, because this platform needs a connection to the internet is powerful enough to function correctly and provide good fluidity during each webinar. The last negative point of Demio is the high costs, despite the fact that it is a platform that works perfectly and offers stability in each webinar transmission, the software is quite expensive and I consider that these prices can be improved a little, especially for the new users.

It was easy to set up and easy to understand. The support team deserves 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for quickly responding by chat and going out of their ways to find solutions and complete explanations of how everything works and how to fix certain issues. I had people from support created test events and even watched events along with me to look at problems I was having. It's awesome to see that you can count with real people.

Pros

It's integration with Active Campaign and the ability to share Calls to Action.
You can trigger your own automations when people register to your event, when they attend it or even when they miss it. You can tag them and send them specific emails. Then you record your event (demio does it for you) and use it as a permanent saved webinar.

Cons

You can't help but compare it to zoom. In zoom, everybody can turn their cameras on and you get a feeling as if you where everybody together... Here, you can have 3 or 4 people max with their cams on.

Generally good, due it appears to nothing but pure luck. I break out in cold sweats when I think how close we have un-knowingly come to disaster in the past due to this bizarre time-bomb built into the service. And we were not even told about this until we were in the middle of post-morteming a catastrophic failure on the demio platform that had killed one of our events.

Pros

It's clean, has an attractive interface for attendees

Cons

Demio is fatally flawed. Imagine you are hosting an event ... wonderful speakers, 200 attendees hanging on their every word. Then *your* broadband connection goes down. Or you have to leave *your* laptop and it hibernates. Or it crashes. You now have 10 minutes to get back online, otherwise your event is (genuinely - confirmed in multiple emails) instantly terminated and your guests are kicked out ignominiously. You will not be able to get back into the session to even tell them what has happened.

Why would a piece of software be written to do this ? After more than 30 years in software development I cannot even imagine ...

So instead you get to sit anxiously in front of your laptop praying that nothing goes wrong for more than ten minutes, shuffling the mouse to make sure it stays awake, wondering if you're going to make it to the end of the day.

That's why we're leaving demio ... nobody in their organisation seems to think this is an issue and nobody in our organisation wants the stress of hosting events on demio any more.

We always strive to give everyone an awesome and enjoyable experience. Having said that, the 10-minute auto disconnect is actually something on our VP of product's radar to change in the very near future.

This function was originally put in to solve some other issues like an event going on forever after everyone had left. Though, we do realize that this wasn't the perfect fix and we will be looking to make adjustments to this in the very near future.

I am a very happy customer - for my part, software needs to make my life as a business owner better and easier, and Demio does just that. Love it!

Pros

Over the years, I have probably held close to 300 webinars, and with that I have tried a bunch of different software solutions. Demio is by far the best of them all, and this is both what I use now and what I recommend to my customers. The pros are that it's quite simple to figure out how to set up, the user interface and the webinar experience is clean and simple, and the best part is that it's reliable. And as a bonus, the customer service is beyond great - quick, friendly and on point.

Cons

Demio integrates nicely with all the software that I need - and Zapier is always a solution, for the few software solutions that don't. I would, for my clients, love to see a future direct integration with MailerLite.

The third-party integrations are good.
I have seen many tools gicing such integrations.

Cons

This tool doesnt have several features. Like in some computers it shows up that you can share specific window screens. But in some computers again it doesnt let you do that. You only got to share the entire screen. Thats so painful in a webinar.

You cant turn off the chat.

They dont have an app for windows like Zoom. Zoom is way handy.

Most importantly, it consumes hell lotta internet bandwidth. Note, I am not talking about the internet storage, I am talking about bandwidth. Where Zoom is way better and a way light weight tool.

Like, while testing the connectivity, it will show you the connectivity is excellent. But while being in real time it will show up it is poor. That is painful.

Also you cannot pause your screen like you do in ZOOM. you got to disconnect it completely. Again painful. I continuously connect and disconnect, do you think that is something a trainer or host would prefer.

Like ZOOM would even load when the network is slightly slower. But demio doesnt give a damn, the webpage will not load itself, it would keep loading forever. Although it is ok in most of the cases, but ZOOM is way better in this coding aspect as well.

Overall I feel they are yet to come up with a better compatibility with network, computers and more.

I work with different clients who use different webinar software programs. So far I've not worked with anything that's as easy to use as Demio. WebinarJam has a tutorial on every page for everything (which it needs!), the Zoom webinar add-on doesn't have the option to add integrations based on people's actions during the webinar - compared to Demio I've found the other programs I've used limited and frustrating. Overall, Demio is a pleasure to work with.

Pros

Demio's interface is super user friendly - it's not necessary to watch any training videos/tutorials to understand how to use the software. It's very logical and easy to just log in and start using. Also, their customer service is so good! They always welcome feedback and actually implement requested changes fairly regularly to improve their software and make sure that they're providing the product that their customers want.

Cons

I think the 'Growth' plan (which includes automated events) is quite expensive compared to similar programs (others I've worked with are WebinarJam & Zoom) Demio's definitely better to use but I think cost is it's biggest downside.

Demio is great!

Pros

We have been with Demio since the beginning and the company just gets better and better. We used to use Go To Webinar and had issues with every broadcast. Demio wins not just because of ease of use but also because of their fantastic customer support - they really do care. Every upgrade makes it just a bit easier to use and we can concentrate on presenting - not worrying about the platform letting us down!

Demio platform has a seamless experience when it comes to conducting live webinars with my customers at a short notice. It's inbuilt email autoresponder makes it sure the registrants are kept well informed.

Pros

Multifunctionality when going live including a private chat window along with a customized HD recording of the webinar being sent to missed registrants sent on Demio autoresponder mails.

Cons

The pricing is a bit on the higher side compared to it's main competition, but again the ease of using a chrome browser instead of a mobile app makes it easier for webinar attendees.

It's so easy to understand and learn how to use it.

Cons

To get attendees to talk with each other and with the presenter you have to invite them to the stage and they have to accept. This gets a bit complicated at times.

I'd prefer going back to having a mute and unmute function to be able to talk attendees during the Webinar.

What I liked most about Demio was how easy it was to set up events. The various features to use during the webinars (polls, CTAs) were an added plus.

Cons

The fact that there is a limited number of people that can be on stage at the same time.

Tech support that is Actually - Support!!!!

I am a new user and we had a bit of an error in our time zone. When I went to use tech support my expectations were low - as if you have ever conversed with tech support chat boxes its a bit like slamming your face into a wall. BUT Meritas was amazing. She clearly understood what I was asking and able to easily fix it for me. It was so painless and efficient. This alone would lead me to recommend this software.

Cons

Id love to have a registration page for webinar attendees that I manage in dashboard VS the link only
Id also love to be able to run the schedule more flexibly - ie set it for monday, wed, friday without having to create individual events for each day
