Great Program

Overall, I would recommend this product to any educational facility. Once you figure out where everything is, it is easy to use and explain to other people.

Pros

I like that you can use it for different subjects and department and have the ability to login to each one from the same platform.

Cons

Some of the features are "hidden" when trying to access them

TutorTrac from a Tutor Perspective

Even though this software cannot record absences, it does well at logging existing appointments and center usage. The system is easy to use, especially for logging and scheduling.

Pros

I like that this system easily connects to students school account information through the banner. It is convenient to search clients by their banner number, phone number, email, student username handle, or name (preferably last name, first name). Having options to assist identifying the clients leaves less room for not being able to identify them.

Cons

The system glitches are what I like least. Sometimes this software does not fully or properly function on Google Chrome. To access the main menu, one has to click on the menu and hold the click to keep the menu visible. Another issue is when logging a Quick Visit, the list of current courses sometimes does not populate. Sometimes clicking "Save" makes the classes appear, but when that does not work, the course can be manually typed in. Also running reports is not as easy to do, and the user interface needs improvements.

Pros

This software allows me to track tutoring sessions. It is nice to be able to enter start and end times as well as notes on what material was worked on during the session.

Cons

Somethings about the interface are not user friendly.

Pros

Great for scheduling! One way integration with MS Outlook - allows tutortrac appointments to show nearly instantaneously on MS Outlook. Easy to adjust your availability in tutortrac.

Cons

*Only* one way integration with Outlook. For professional staff members who use Outlook to make other appointments, there is no way for Outlook to communicate these appointments back to Tutotrtac to update the tutortrac availability. Staff members need to be diligent in monitoring both calendars and manually update tutortrac availability to avoid double booking.
