I was looking for a new software to design, sell and manage our itineraries and I ended up finding...

I was looking for a new software to design, sell and manage our itineraries and I ended up finding We Travel. [sensitive content hidden] was the first person I spoke to (it was a festivity but he gave me availability anyway as we were in a hurry) and then [sensitive content hidden] helped us set up our account. Coming from a software that provided very poor customer service this truly made the difference.
The software is well made, easy to use and with plenty of features. I am sure they will get even better in the future (possibly on the graphic aspect of it) but overall it is a very good and competitive product.

Pros

Pricing (both subscription and booking/card fees)
Customer care (I had a great experience working with [sensitive content hidden])
Ease of use for both the travel agency and the clients
Itinerary builder

Cons

I (personally) do not like the graphic aspect very much
Dynamic pricing not available
Everything else is great

Takes a while to get your money out for tour operators

We were approved and signed up with WeTravel, spent countless hours building our tours and...

We were approved and signed up with WeTravel, spent countless hours building our tours and launching them on the platform. We told them upfront that we had a sister brand that did Cuba Tours. They said it was not a problem we just needed to sign something. Thinking all was good and approved I acepted bookings through the playform. But there was another process I wasn't told about, that was signing up with Stripe. Stripe has pinged me or bloack listed our company because we have a sister company that does tours in Cuba. Hence our money is stuck in WeTravel and there are no other ways to get it out.

Pros

The booking engine seems nice and the staff was nice at first.

Cons

They weren't clear about who their payment processor is, Stripe. It take a long time to get your money out. Not very efficient for a travel company.

We're extremely happy with WeTravel and would recommend it to everybody in the international travel business, there are so many ways you can benefit from the platform!

Pros

WeTravel solved all of our needs. I love their flexibility and how it adapts to our needs. Also the very proactive approach of the team to constantly improve their tools and features. Definitely 10 / 10!

Cons

The only con I can think about is that I have not found it earlier!

Pros

The ease with which it allows me to design and promote my tours. It saves me hours and looks so much better than what I could do myself.

I've been receiving payments through WeTravel since 2019 and since then they have been improving and adapting the paying methods for us the tour operators. I have only good comments about Wetravel.

Pros

I am fascinated by the versatility and capacity to process payments. 100% adapted to the needs of tour operators.

WeTravel has allowed us to quickly make our tour products bookable online. We have had no issues with payment processing, and the flexibility of the platform is impressive. As our trips have a higher price point, the ability to offer payment in instalments is very appreciated by our customers.

Pros

-Specifically designed for multi-day tours.
-Easy to use
-Dependable

Cons

-Cost could still be better, as we pay for both a monthly subscription and per transaction
-Customer facing UI could be updated and have more flexibility

it's actually not exactly about WeTravel - but the time it takes from making a wire transfer and receiving - it's inconsistent (it can take just 1 day or 2 - or about a week) To be fair it's more an issue with the international wire transfer than WeTravel themselve

We were able to implement WeTravel pretty seamlessly (and quickly!) into our existing website. [sensitive content hidden], our Account Manager is incredibly responsive and solves all of our problems on the rare occasion we encounter one. Our salesperson, [sensitive content hidden], still checks in on us. I know they're a big company with many clients but we feel like we're the only one.

Pros

You can do SO much with the free version of WeTravel. The primary way we use WeTravel is for trek registration and payment activities, and we can do what we need with the free version. It saves us so much time and stress. We love WeTravel!

Cons

We're a small business and the annual cost for the Pro plan is more than we can justify at this time. Being on the free version means - understandably - that not all of the cool features are available to us. That's a bummer.

Pros

The itinerary process is very intuitive. The leads tracking system through the brochure feature has also been very helpful. I would also add the speed for you can create invoices for clients has proved to be very useful for our team.

Cons

There is not a library of itinerary events. It would be great if you could save certain itinerary days and add them to any itinerary.

Pros

From the backend it is quite easy to learn it and to teach it to any newcomers. You can easily create new customer pages and develop different itineraries. Theres is a multi-package system that works quite well, as within the same trip you can charge different amounts.Their technical support is always very speedy at getting back to any questions we may have.

Cons

It is much better suited for individual customers than for B2B.
