Hireology is the all in one solution for dealership hiring

Hireology should be a requirement in running a successful dealership.
Pros
Hireology is a fantastic tool that is very easy to use for anyone needing to hire for an automotive dealership. The ability to post, refresh and remove as many jobs as you need to is a great thing to have. Hireology pushes to many of the major job boards, making sure the exposure is there for your jobs.
Cons
Hireology has not disappointed in any way yet. We have used the product for over 6 months, and everyone from the general manager to the service manager can easily post jobs that they need filled.

Pros
Hireology is very user friendly. I like the dashboard and the easy of finding what I need. I started using their drug testing for new hires and like to so far.
Cons
For drug testing I would like to see step by step. Currently I see when the applicant fills out the information and then I get the results.

Hireology Review

We have enjoyed using Hireology.
We have enjoyed using Hireology.
Pros
We initially chose Hireology to find other recruitment solutions to help us in the onboarding process. Initially it was great and it still is a recruitment solution. Unfortunately, we still had to sponsor ads on indeed to see a good response to our Hireology positions. So we were still having to pay other sources to funnel our applicants to indeed.
Cons
Hireology is fairly priced, but having to still sponsor postings was not something we liked. Also, the ability to target specific zip codes is great. But the cost of that was quite a bit more than what we anticipated and did not get a good response for the amount.

[sensitive content hidden] headed our team and integrated this for our daily use. I would say it was smooth. He was helpful and communicative, and this product has changed my company.
Pros
Easy to use, everything in one, stores all my candidate info and documents.
Cons
It changed my pay rate of a posted ad and would also not post out to linked in or indeed, so I received no applicants. This often happens.

Overall it's been pretty good. We have gotten a few good new employees out of it, and it helps us get our ad seen in a lot of different places
Pros
We are a waterproofing/foundation company, and we use Hireology for all of our open positions. It is great because it posts the openings on multiple different sites so your ads can be seen by as many people as possible. It keeps everything in one place, it is easy to identify the new applicants, it keeps track of your communication history if you choose to email through the software.
Cons
This seems trivial but you can't highlight and copy and paste the applicant's email address. This is a huge pain when you're trying to quickly send multiple emails or in our case, add multiple applicants to a campaign for a hiring event. Also, we had a little bit of trouble getting in touch with their customer service when our ad wasn't "refreshing" as it should have been.

Hireology is a hired!

Pros
This is a really easy tool to use in order to post for job candidates. It has so many features that you can use to narrow the field down so that you ensure that you are getting the right job seekers coming in your doors!
Cons
There is only one thing that I dont like, its really not huge but if I select a candidate it asks to send them to one of two categories. It not a deal breaker by any means just if I had to pick something "bad" this is it.

We've had some hick ups with the set up because of our sales rep that is no longer there, but other than that it's been a good experience.
Pros
I like that the all communication (including hiring managers) it's in one place. Has organic posting that saves us on job postings, able to text candidates, and you can view the candidate work flow stage.
Cons
It's a cookie cutter system and most of the time you're unable to tailor processes based on our needs.

Overall, Hireology is okay. It is much better than reviewing resumes manually through email or having to log into separate job posting sites. However it is a little expensive and we did not seem to find a large volume of quality candidates when we used it for an entry level accounting position. I think we would have had better luck if it integrated with Indeed.
Pros
-Makes candidate tracking more organized
-Can integrate with multiple job sites
-Candidate profiles were well organized and made resume review much easier than sifting through email attachments
Cons
-The site is a little clunky when trying to navigate back and forth from individual profiles to the candidate/applicant list
-The site did not integrate with Indeed which would be my most preferred job site

Pros
I used for a few years. it was cutting edge technology sometimes brings me good candidates to hire
Cons
Since they have grown abd become successful they have changed to processes used to contact me. Before I had a personal consultant that understood the nuances to hiring in my business (automotive) now I just talk to a consultant who is not familiar with a car dealership's needs or have to stumble through posting and writing an add on my own

Easy to Use and Background Checks Included
Reviewed on 2021/02/09
Pros
It was easy to set up the hiring process for each job posting and the content for each step. The customer service team was always just a call away and often checked in on me, which was helpful with my busy schedule.
Cons
Having it integrated with my franchise's job platform would have been helpful to keep all my hiring activity in one place.
I would have also liked the ability to post multiple locations for one job description to prevent one applicant from having to apply multiple times for the same job in two different locations.
When creating the applicant myself (i.e. uploading the applicant's resume myself), I needed the ability to send the job application separately so they could answer the question about a non-compete with a current and if they were eligible to work in the US on a full-time bases.

Pros
It's very easy to create a job listing and the support when you need assistance is top notch! Being able to track all contact (calls, text, emails) within the system is one of my favorite features as well. Highly recommend Hireology.
Cons
Needing to re-write a job ad instead of using a previously created one. Now that I know I can save as a template it's not an issue. But I didn't know that until my rep told me.

I would be happy to never use this again. It is not a well integrated system because one function does not speak to another. It leads to way more steps for the user.
Pros
This software is pretty straightforward as an applicant tracking system if you're using it on a pretty small scale. It's easy to post jobs and also review applicants within this ATS.
Cons
This software is not always very intuitive. You have to set it up to where there are multiple locations and you're not able to view all openings as an organization. You have to click into each organization and then you can see what new applicants you have. I also do not like that if you upload a candidate you've sourced, it does not parse the information from the resume. It is pretty easy to use, but leads to a lot more steps because it's not well integrated throughout the platform.
