It's the Key to My Creativity

It provides solutions to create beats, and produce vocals.
Pros
Fruity Loop Studio helps to accelerate my music production process and keeps my work organized which tremendously increases my productivity rates. I use it for producing both instrumental beats and song recordings. It's a pretty nice and versatile music production software. It's easy to learn and provides a user-friendly workspace with advanced functionalities.
Cons
FL studio lacks advanced vocal editing capacities. I tried the Newton plugin a few times and couldn't get enough from it, unlike Cubase's built-in vocal editor (audioVari).
I think that if more advanced functionalities like pitch and timing editing of individual notes are added, It will be a big stress-relieve for some of us who are lazy and like to depend on just a single software.

It has been great, Fl studio is a place where you can set free your imagination and create music without losing time just setting up everything before even launch the program. If you have an idea how audio processing works, FL Studio is very intuitive, but for new users it may be a headache at the beginning. I've been using this program since the 11 version, I've seen how much it has changed and improved for good, now I can say its one of the best options you can use as a music artist.
Pros
- Graphic and dynamic workflow: Sometimes is hard figure it out "where that track is going?", "why this FX is not working?" I think Fl studio makes it feel easy, you can see how's everything working in your mixing process. Really helpful, even for experienced people.- Dual Monitor "Compatibility": It can sound weird, but it's a lot easier use any dual monitor setup than just a large screen. Fl Studio allows you to "detach" the mixing console, the sequencer, anything, and put it on your "favorite" monitor. I used other daws, and its really annoying the fact to reorganize everything each time you start the program, FL do a great job in this way.
Cons
STEMS exporting: Fl studio allows you to export in so many different ways, but the thing here is that theres no a option to export "raw stems" (no fx) without manually turning off all the fx buttons of your tracks. You can export every track individually on the export menu, but they will be taken from your mixing console, so if you want to export them you will have to set up everything on the sequencer. For me, it has been a feature with no so much attention on it.Live performace is kind of hard to understand: I will not compare FL Studio with other DAWS, but the way how you got to set up everything for a live performance gives me a headache. The loop feature is practicly imposible to use with any latency with real instruments (no vts, no midi), there's no way to automate a "hands free" looping session. Probably I haven's used it a lot, but its for the reason that I really want an easier way of looping and improvising.

Good, but at certain times frustrating yet rewarding.
Pros
I love the capability of this program. It is not easy to learn all its features, but there's a lot of tutorials online and if you like making loops and editing them in sequence those programs for you. I feel like the previous versions allowed you to integrate things a lot easier and now it's all piece-mealed and priced out differently. But a lot of programs are putting things behind paywalls.
Cons
How certain features are put behind premium price plans. For a program that has a lot of features, it doesn't really make it simple to learn. There are other programs that are easier to learn, but this one is a solid program with a lot of in-depth customization once you really get to know how to use it. It's been around for a really long time and it will be around for a long time afterwards so it's a good program to sink your money into if you are looking for something long-term.

A breeze to use. It just works, and does perfectly what it’s supposed to do. The note editor for example is one of the best in town, the concept is the same as all but FL studio is somehow smoother and easier to use once you learn how to do it. There are better alternatives in theory, but it depends very much on your needs and commitment. Unless you have very specific needs not covered but FL Studio (unlikely), why go overboard with apps that are too complicated even to do the basic stuff when FL Studio just works?
Pros
FL Studio is quite easy to get started with, from deployment to basic config and the first note recorded it is much less overwhelming than other more complicated alternatives. This doesn’t mean that it lacks features, however, especially if you’re into certain kind of music (more towards electronic and such than symphonic or such). Yes, the interface is not perfect and there are alternatives even more powerful, but for the price and mellower learning curve I liked and still like it a lot
Cons
Nothing much really. It works, and is relatively simpler to use (a DAW is never easy though, even doing the basic stuff like recording or writing a note is usually more complicated that it seems). And it does not require the same amount of money or some alternatives to begin with
Reasons for Switching to FL Studio
At the time it was cheaper and less overwhelming for a beginner, and after years of use I can confirm!- Industry: Entertainment

We have been enjoying making music in FL studio as it is easy to use and has a wide variety of functions.
Pros
We can make music in a blink of an eye. We here at Creative Alliance use FL Studio to make non-copyrighted music and publish in our YouTube Channel CREATIVE ALLIANCE MUSIC. It has been very useful for us and helped us to create music and also using a guitar or a keyboard, connecting it with the software, has been very helpful.
Cons
The price of the software is the only issue we have as we feel it is very high. Some of the competitors have a little lower price.

I love using FL Studio. I tried to use other DAW, but FL Studio is more convenient. I recommend FL users learn mixing and mastering. Moreover, FL Studio is the best DAW to originate a new sound.
Pros
FL Studio has several unique features, but Piano Roll is the most liked feature. I have been using FL Studio since 2013 and produced kinds of music. I did not use any external MIDI. Just by using Piano Roll, I make many kinds of music. Therefore, any new user doesn't have to learn external musical equipment such as Piano and Guitar, Piano Roll is more than enough.
Cons
The sound bank in FL Studio is good enough for professionals since they mix it and make it good. In contrast, beginners must look for better Plugins. However, the newer version of FL Studio has a better libraries.

Overall, my experience with FL Studio has been very positive. I have been able to create professional music tracks thanks to its wide variety of virtual instruments and plugins. Although automation management can be difficult to use, I found that the software was very powerful and its features were very useful for my projects.
Pros
What I like most about FL Studio is its wide variety of virtual instruments and plugins. You can find everything you need to create any type of music, whether it's synthesizers, pianos, string instruments, sound effects, etc. The sound quality is incredible, which allows for the production of professional tracks.
Cons
What I like least about FL Studio is the way it handles automations. It can be difficult to understand how to automate parameters on tracks and get the desired result. This can be frustrating when trying to create variations in a track or add effects precisely.

Thanks to Fl studio, I was able to take my first steps in the world of music production. it is affordable and offers all the tools imaginable for beatmakers and composers to improve their art.
Pros
The strong point which is particularly appreciable on FL studio is the ease with which the composition is feasible, thanks in particular to its beattrack, but also its PianoRoll which is undoubtedly the best on the market. but also the native composition plugins are excellent, namely Flex, Sytrus, Harmless, Toxic and others. It is a pleasure to work with Fl Studio in addition to the egornomic interface nicely adapted for comfortable and efficient use.
Cons
According to me Fl Studio is not powerful enough for professional mixing, the routing although effective does not allow very technical processing

The best music production software
Reviewed on 2023/02/09
Pros
Fl Studio is the best in my opinion because it has the advantage of being easy to handle, but also has the best composition system, namely the rack system coupled with the Roll piano. The native vst plugins are of high quality, Morphine, Sytrus, Harmless, Toxic, are incredible. FL Studio is the best of all time when it comes to composition.
Cons
Although we can have high quality mixes in Fl Studio, in my opinion it remains limited on the Mixing side. For example, the routing system does not allow high-precision processing, unlike Cubase or Protools. but nevertheless it is a negative detail that does not affect the overall quality.

My Number One DAW Software

Fl Studio has made my musical journey interesting and simple, it has got so many features and tools that you can use to explore your creativity in sound design with endless possibilities in what you can do, I use it to record vocals, instruments, and also design sound effects. I have never been this satisfied. It's the best DAW of all time. It helps me work faster and organize my projects so that I can easily navigate the program and allows me to customize my projects with color and icons so that I can visually see different parts of my projects with ease and without stressing.
Pros
FL Studio is my favorite DAW, I love the interface, and It's so easy to use. I have used FL for a decade now I don't think I will ever change to another. I have tried so many similar programs only Fl Studio stood out to be faster and more comfortable to work with. It supports countless third-party plugins that you download from other vendors which you can easily install and use in no time. FL Studio is easily integrated with other software and you can also use a mobile version that is available in popular app stores. It is very popular in many studio setups, it can be easily installed and comes with a bunch of stock plugins that can be used immediately after installation without having to download extra ones. Its supports many hardware devices such as mics, sound interfaces, midi controllers, input and output devices in a plug and play style.
Cons
It's not free but you can download a trial version which has limitations. If you are just starting out I recommend you start with a trial version. It took time for me to learn how to use it effectively, as a beginner I had to learn from experienced users because at that time I had no access to the internet and youtube as we do now. Learning how it works will help in getting the most out of this program.

FL Studio makes writing music incredibly fast and enjoyable. The core plugins are enough to get you started, and are of excellent quality (though you may find yourself still using 3rd party effects for reverbs and delays). However if you're a beginner, what it offers is more than enough, and you'll have no problem getting used to the software, even though all DAWs look pretty overwhelming at first.I had to write a review for FL Studio because it has given me so much and I wanted to give something back. If it wasn't for image-line I probably wouldn't be making music right now.
Pros
The biggest and best feature of FL Studio, in my opinion, is the piano roll. It makes working at the MIDI level a joy. So if you're more accustomed to using virtual instruments and moving notes around manually instead of recording, then you'll get some serious bang for your buck here. Other DAW users have been envious of my ability to pitch bend without the use of automation or drawing lines all over the pattern. If you don't own a MIDI controller, the piano roll wins again because it's just so easy to modify the notes and FL comes with the best virtual keyboard I've ever used. Select the scale you want and never play out of tune again. With FL 21 you can now even select the root note so it's not locked to C anymore.Another pro I need to mention is its small price tag. I picked my producer copy up for ~£150 during a Christmas sale. That's for lifetime free updates, too. Not only is it one of the most inexpensive DAWs, but they do have a few sales you should keep your eye out for if you're considering purchasing it.Then there's FLEX.. a preset based synthesizer. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] of FL Studio get access to a bunch of free packs, and the premium packs aren't that expensive either. I bought one for £15 inc. VAT. FLEX has really inspired me to a whole new level. The music just about writes itself. I couldn't believe it came with FL Studio for free.
Cons
I wasn't a huge fan of how patterns are separate from tracks. It's a bit of a weird concept to get your head around. It makes things a little more versatile, but it can also be quite confusing on larger projects if you don't assemble it correctly. You also need to make sure you have the correct instrument selected before laying down notes in the pattern. It's just something I don't like very much about the software. If the pros didn't outweigh this problem so much, I probably wouldn't have stuck with FL and recommended it.

I've been using FL studio for years now, i've also tried various other programs before FL, and in all honesty FL Studio has, is and will be the best. I really love the software and would recommend anyone to not look else where and just buy FL. It has made music making very easy, simple and enjoyable. The whole program works seamlessly and everything is right where its needed without having to navigate around too much.
Pros
1) The software already comes with pre-installed plugins
2) There is a variety of different other plugins to choose from.
3) The software is extremely flexible, meaning you can go from beginner to expert in the shortest time possible.
4) Beginners don't need to struggle because there is an abundance of tutorials on how to use the product.
5) The program has the functionality to connect a microphone and record your very own music in the comfort of you own home.
6) The program also comes with a sticky note type feature that allows you to either have a script or lyrics within the program without the need to write down anything on paper.
7) FL Studio is by far the leader in the music software industry, it has a stable community that makes it easier for beginners to get accustomed to the program.
Cons
1) The program is difficult to understand the first time if a new user doesn't have access to tutorials.
2) The program doesn't allow projects done on a higher version to be done on an older version.
3) Sometimes the program take too much CPU power and results in the program lagging.
