ClinicSense has come a long way in the last few years. When I first started using it, it was clunky and felt unrefined. In the last 6 months they have added a lot of new features, and ease of access.

Pros

The price was fantastic, it was nice with the automated reminder texts, and online booking.

Cons

The mobile app doesn't work for my phone (Samsung s10), but the web-browser clinicsense.com works fantastically so it doesn't affect me too much.

MTAM had a promotion involving clinicsense so that's why I chose it initially. Now I'm used to using it, and wouldn't really want to switch.

Pros

That my clients can easily book online and I can add the link to all of my platforms.

Cons

I wish I had more text options for clients. Most of my clients don’t use their emails. Texting is all the rage. More options to utilize that would be great.

Pros

I love the ease of use.
Clients can book online with a simple layout.
Everything on the back end is easy to set up.
Hardly any system issues.

Cons

I wish I could "add on" services with a button with booking.
example: Massage (add hot stone)(add cupping) ect..
It would also be nice to "block" certain clients from online booking from the backend.

I have had nothing but incredible experiences with ClinicSense down to their video training on new releases, and help from their IT department. The response time is incredible and they keep you updated with upcoming and even ask what we would as consumers like to see and vote on it.

Pros

What I like most is that I have control over my appointments and if my current clients or future clients can book automatically or if I need to approve before hand or decline a client. I find most useful the reporting records, SOAP notes, memos which is very helpful to put information (family, pressure they like, trips that are coming up) and it can be selected on every appointment or a certain treatments.

Cons

The only few item I don't like is that I can't do my notes on my iPhone or iPad - I can only review customer name and forms they filled out for the upcoming appointment. I would also like it if there was an option to be able to add to where there is an add-on to a treatment instead of creating an entire treatment that has it on there. As a therapist I can add on to invoice but client can't do it when booking if then wanted to put an add-on.

Pros

It's just to easy to use. its not a web site, its a scheduling app focused and functional. its amazing at what's its supposed to do! intuitive! straightforward! its organized, it has all the options needed and covered to help you keep business and client info streamlined and organized. the reports!! and the marketing section, just great details to what you need to have a successful business. none of the fluff or over stylized rubbish to hide the lack of services provided.

Cons

only a few thing that come to mind, but i feel like im being a bit picky... 1)the overall look/them could possibly use a lil refresh. but then again, im coming to appreciate the simplicity. 2) I've gone back and forth about how i feel about the cost...

Some scheduling features, I wish you could as multiple work periods during the day (say 9-12, then 2-5). But you can add personal time in the middle which works too

The support team is always prompt and ready to help me with any tech issues I've had in the past and they've made several improvements over the years with their software. My overall experience has been great.

Pros

Clinicsense has made running a solo practice, seamless and painless. I'm able to optimize my time with online booking, and manage my billing and bookkeeping all in one place.

Cons

My only request from Clinicsense would be to have an optional waitlist for clients.

good, but needs some improvements on certain options like patients scheduling rules, online scheduling, and no show guard payment settings. Also I wish I had more an option to ask for a new patients credit card, so that if they don't show I can charge it.

I wish there was a bit more customization with scheduling like setting different hours for a certain period of time instead of indefinitely.

Overall I'd highly recommended it though!

I have been with clinicsense for some time and have only experienced its platform getting better and easier to use. I was so happy about it during and throughout the pandemic as adding extra forms and health information was easily accessible and we can continue to edit forms and messages which is fantastic.

Pros

I love how easy it is to click and use. The widget was easy to add to my website and the link to Facebook. I like the look and feel and that I can manage how much information the therapist and front end can view from shared profiles. I can see everything from my account- Revenue, sales tax, etc. divided by therapist making payroll a breeze.

Cons

I don't feel the mobile version is the best yet. I would like to access reports and such from the app and be able to use the back button without logging out. I also would like to have better access to how the soap notes are inputted as this is not something we currently use. but we are moving closer to paper-free.

It has been a very easy transition from my paper binder to a full paperless system. I have needed customer support a few times and the response time is usually hours not days!

Pros

Appointment reminders, and the ease of scheduling reoccurring clients. The paperless forms are a plus because many of my clients at 65 and older and do not have home printers.

Cons

There are a lot of functions I don’t use but my price is the same.

I love that it integrates easily with our wesbite and also with our Square POS Terminal. Being able to do everything from one place makes work easier for us!

Cons

I dislike the mobile app. I currently download an icon of the desktop version to my phone for a shortcut to the calendar instead because the phone app just feels choppy and is annoying to navigate.

I have a great experience with clinicsense. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a user friendly software. They even offer trainings where you learn how to improve your business, tips in marketing, etc.

Pros

* Easy to setup and user friendly
* Excellent customer service
* It got everything I need as a solo practitioner

Cons

* Software can't block unwanted clients. Luckily I love all my clients. However, this can be a safety issue that clinicsense needs to add to their system for therapist who unfortunately got creepy clients/unwanted clients.

My overall experience with ClinicSense has been wonderful! It is a receptionist in a computer program!

Pros

This program is a lifesaver for me as a solo Massage Practitioner. Clients are able to go directly from my webpage to book their appointments, choosing the service they desire. The program then sends email and text confirmations and reminders freeing me up from phone tag. I receive email and text alerts for each booking as well! It also contains options for marketing such as encouraging clients to leave a Google review as well as email birthday acknowledgement.

Cons

Since my services include enhancements ClinicSense does not allow for "add-ons" to a baseline massage. I am then required to create service options which include a base massage with each of the enhancements individually. My clients have expressed the lack of ease of choosing exactly what they would like since there are so many service buttons. I understand that this is on their "to-do" list and will at sometime be integrating it into the program.

ClinicSense is great value for money. Wonderful for new practitioners and those running a small business. Large businesses I work for make good use of it too.

Pros

ClinicSense is straightforward to use. The treatment note templates are minimalist which I prefer, because extra fluff can sometimes be very distracting. The menu bar allows me quick access to a client's contact information, appointment history, invoices etc.

Cons

ClinicSense does run slow at times, for instance, when opening up a client file or treatment note. Sending a receipt was not intuitive at first, because there is no icon to do it, but rather we click on "add signature" then "send email."

I really appreciate how responsive the customer service is. I have always had prompt help with any issue, and they really make sure I understand. I love that they send videos explaining how to do things. I also like how easy it is to set up, and to manage all my appointments.

Cons

I think I have not explored this enough to learn for myself, but I don't feel like i understand how to see what my clients are receiving. Really, I just think I need to spend more time with it.
