Pros

Relatively user friendly. Availability of different reports in excel format. Online support is very helpful and responsive.

Cons

Lack of control, such as who is able to alter information entered.
Information such as early term penalty do not get update in discharge statement when the terms are renewed/amended.

Amazing Product with even better Customer Service

Pros

The reporting features of Mortgage Automator have taken our efficiency and data use to the next level. Through the Report Builder module, I am able to customize reports to best fit our users needs. Integrating excel formulas in our reports has also greatly increased productivity in our organization.

All members of the Data Migration/Onboarding team have been absolutely amazing to work with, with very quick and efficient response times.

Cons

Currently, there is not an accounting function/integration within Mortgage Automator, however I know this is something that is in the works. Looking forward to this feature!

Our journey started with onboarding and through in-depth training, with a purposeful approach to understanding our private lending business, while lending their vast expertise. Mortgage Automator has helped simplify and streamline our lending and communication process but centralizing our loans and investor profiles. All our team members now have up to date at their fingers tips. We have increased our efficiency in servicing our borrowers and investors. Mortgage Automator is helping us grow and expand our lending capacity with confidence. We couldn't do what we do without the platform and the team at Mortgage Automator. Thank you!

Pros

I appreciate the level of personalized support available as we continue to evolve as a private mortgage lender. The platform's ease of use and the centralization of essential information has made our team's ability to service loans more efficiently and promptly. Gone are the days of "searching" for documentation or communication. The ability to see our workflow and loan status' at a glance, enables our team to proactively engage in our processes from funding through to final discharge. Once we started actively working in the platform, we found our team's work day and communication became more structured and concise.

Cons

The length of time that it took to initially set up our loan files and databases, but the extra effort is now well worth it!

Pros

MA is easy to use, simple, flexible and intuitive.

It has the ability to handle many different types of scenarios and transactions, and if a function isn't currently automated, MA always is able to provide a alternative solution in the meantime.

The customer service is exceptional. The response time, efficiency and knowledge are beyond industry standard.

Cons

There isn't a downside to MA for day to day use in our business. We only wish that we can get more from MA, as the features and continuing growth excites us, and we constantly look forward to updates and new features that help our business.

Mortgage Automator Review - California Asset Based Lender

Pros

The platform's customizability coupled with the user friendly interface has been a game changer for our loan process from initial submission all the way through post closing. We are able to set up the platform with ease in order to match our internal workflows and review processes. Everything is centralized which eliminates us from having to enter the same information multiple times. This has cut down on our closing timelines while reducing input errors. MA is also constantly looking to integrate with 3rd part service providers such as doc drawing platforms and insurance providers to continuously streamline the closing process. Docs and forms can be customized with in the platform as well to be quickly generated. Checks and balances are easily set up with in the platform as well which allows processors to process, underwriters to underwrite and managers to manage their sales team. The icing on the cake for my company has to do with their help line. I have yet to have a request not be resolved within in 24 hours. Pretty remarkable if you ask me.

Cons

The cons for us have to do with some of the customizing of forms. The CA DRE has specific forms we need for each closing and they can be a pain. It can take longer than expected on our end which gets frustrating. With that being said, their service department is readily available and if we have an issue, they are on it right away.

I was nervous about switching from The Mortgage Office to the Mortgage Automator. Once I went through the intense training, I knew I made the right choice. The customer service team answers my questions/problems within a day at most.

Pros

They're constantly improving the software, listening to their clients, and modifying regularly.

Cons

That I didn't find it sooner, I went through a lot of stuff with my old servicing company. So far, there's nothing I would put as a "con."

Reasons for Choosing Mortgage Automator

We used The Mortgage Office for almost 8 years. It served its purpose, but we had to make a lot of alterations to make things work. We also weren't very happy with their service department. The Mortgage Office wasn't allowing us to grow into our new business of financing mobile homes.

The system seemed so simple; the layout of the screens (not cluttered) and the loan flow were all laid out very logically. The pricing was very competitive and you got a lot of bang for your buck. The salesperson was super knowledgeable with out being pushy.

The Automator team has been amazing in providing Graysbrook Capital with custom solutions that has increased our business efficiency substantially. On top of that, the support team is outstanding and has very fast turnaround times. Highly recommend this product.

Pros

Mortgage Automator is incredibly easy to use. Being able to log in from anywhere is great, and makes things easy when discussing files over the phone with colleagues. The software has helped reduce complexity and increase efficiency in our business!

Cons

Some of the 'pre-canned' reports were not exactly what we were looking for, but the support staff is always available to help us create custom reports

It is custom tailored for our individual needs not only in front and operations but in back and servicing. This software has allowed us to become paper free

Cons

I will put something but it is with any development process. There’s a lot of collaboration and time spent in development. This is not out of the box but it should not be when you get something that’s customized. Not really a con.

Pros

The Automator Team provided a thorough onboarding/training process. Once the documents and condition templates were set up, Automator makes preparing loan commitments efficient. Customizing the dashboard to organize file progress based on our workflow. Generating lawyer instructions within the email communication saves a lot of time when the template pulls necessary info from the loan file. Automator seems to be proactive with continuous development, any issues we ran into were addressed within a reasonable amount of time (the chat support is so handy), and there is a feature request board.

Cons

Creating our own documents wasn't as straightforward as I expected, to format properly had to work through coding. With that said, the Automator team is available to create custom documents.

Mortgage Automator has been critical to our growth and success as a private lender. The software has allowed us to streamline our business processes, manage our client database and save an incredible amount of time that would be required if processing manually. The software works seamlessly with all major lending submission platforms and is extremely user friendly. The Mortgage Automator team is always available if we need anything and is continuously upgrading the software as needed. We have received lots of positive feedback from our broker channel commenting on our quick turn around times and on how easy it is to send us business. Thank you Mortgage Automator!

Pros

Mortgage Automator helped us fully streamline our lending business. Any tedious processes that used to take a long time are now implemented with a click of a button. Our communications and alerts go out at the right time when needed, our investors love getting professionally designed statements, payments are fully automated, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Mortgage Automator can easily count for 2 more people on our staff.

Cons

There is nothing I don't like, but it's important to notice that the software will only work for you if you learn how to use it and actually use it.

We are pleased with the product. It really takes a lot of time to get comfortable with the program but is very useful. Our company is extremely small but this will give us a great tool to help expand over time. A+ to the support staff, [SENSITIVE CONTENT] in particular. They have been a pleasure to work with.

Pros

Mortgage Automator truly helps ease the process of loan servicing and payment collection. It utilizes a modern interface and becomes relatively easy to use with proper training and time. Many features are very customizable and allow for tailoring the software to fit the customer's needs. The support staff is fantastic and works on a solution almost always the same day. This product can truly give back time to focus on other aspects of your business development.

Cons

Mortgage Automator takes time to get comfortable using, however this is a result of the developers really wanting to add features to cover all aspects of the business. There are several features that could be added to improve the transition from coding language to make it easier on the clients that aren't as savvy.

We are able to operate and administrate from multiple cities and countries without issues. This is a game-changer for our team.

Pros

Our team implemented the software over the course of a month and we had a very successful experience. The team at MA was always supportive and responsive on our questions and issues. The software is a wholistic approach to Mortgage Portfolio management and administration and saves a ridiculous amount of staff time.
A big reason that the software is excellent is that it is developed by individuals that ARE private lenders and fully understand our business and related challenges.

Cons

From a senior manager's point of view, there could be more reporting features and options to analyze the fund.

Pros

The software is easy to use and integrates well with our current practices. Regular updates to the software increases functionality. Also, like the ability to customize certain features for our use.

Cons

Initially, there were some issues relating to certain functions that were not available for our specific needs, however, with a call in to the MA team, they were more than willing to help solve the problem and work with us to figure out exactly what we needed.

The implementation of Mortgage Automator has assisted in time management and efficiencies. We were thinking of having to hire an Admin clerk - That is no longer required with this program. Any issues are quickly resolved and our experience with the program has been overwhelmingly positive!

Pros

Mortgage Automator has evolved. As a deal/file intake interface and a back-end administration program this program enables us to stay on top of files, issue commitments, and do all the administration of a mortgage. We no longer operate multiple spreadsheets and we are extremely happy with a program that offers a one-stop customizable solution.

Cons

Any issues were quickly resolved/solved for us. I have no Cons to offer.
