I got so helpful customer services support from Ionos web hosting. The setup process is easy and effective, you can do almost everything without any problem. Even the main thing is, I really like the page load speed of Ionos, it's superb. I have used Ionos for both big and small websites, It was helpful but best suitable for big websites. A good thing about 1&1 is, they will give you a free domain for one year with a hosting package.

I can mention just one con about Ionos which is their server performance. They talk about the performance because it is the most important thing of a web server. But I didn't get satisfactory results from them for small websites. Shared hosting is terrible, website uptime is too poor and often shows 404 bad gateway. I didn't get these kinds of problems on the higher packages, but lower packages really bad.

The product overall is very easy to use, but the downfall is when you need help or support or have a question. That is where is goes downhill.

Support is horrible, I have been a customer for over 10 years and recently when having an issue with one of my domains - I have spent time on their chat support for hours only to be told to call, when you call - you get put on hold and the times when they don't hang up on you, they are of no help, other than escalating the case / issue, they are NO help and don't really care or have any urgency when you are dealing with you business domains.

I didnt care much about the site but the optimization online is solid, quick and easy and i M Avery happy with the swift responsiveness of the severs, platform and support

Not enough images to chose from in the free bulk of toys provided, i felt like i dont have enough to work with, monthly price for support could be a little less or at least could be discounted if prepaid for a year

I particularly love the ease of creating a website with customised pages which incorporates my own brand colours, text and images. There is a large selection of widgets that I can effortlessly drag and drop onto a page from social buttons, text to HTML links to other apps.

There are a few areas of my website I'd like to customise more but the structure of the template won't allow this. It does not effect to users view of my site so it's not essential.

Nothing good to say about this company.

Their customer service laughed at me when I told them my site was down. He said I needed to log in to my account to access my control panel and websites I tried to tell him I wanted to check the website from a customers viewpoint, who won't be logging in and he was very condescending.

My site was hacked multiple times with porn and pa reading articles loaded overnight, despite the security SSL and other recommendations.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I have used several similar services that are often very complex. Ease of use for users with no system experience is extremely good

I think options are missing for advanced uses, as well as ways to modify settings at a low level. I think this is important to be able to enhance the service

You couldn’t add files to save all the listing. It took so long to set the whole website because everything is manual.

So many cons. Every thing is manual. Anything g you want to add to make things easy you have to pay.

When it was 1&1, it was a good product, I had no concerns.

Ruined my business. 1&1 hosted my website for 10 years. It then moved to Ionos ownership and when my domain renewal arrived, I renewed and they changed my account from hosting to website builder. I lost everything and despite spending 10 hours+ on the phone, they were unable to help. It got to a point where they would eventually just cut my call off. From this, my business ceased trading.

Its very easy to use and very cheap compared to other websites. Setup is very simple and once its up there isn't much else to do to keep it running.

1&1 IONOS has a history of selling out your information to others, even if you opt in to their private WHOIS. I constantly get emails about web solutions from random companies (that tend to word things the same way, suspiciously) as well as phone calls claiming to be IONOs trying to sell more services.

Very easy to use website builder. This tool is very simple and easy to use. It only takes a few days to make a full website.

It is very simple to set-up, very easy to use, and does not require a lot of experience or previous knowledge to use.

Not as many features are included in the standard version, but upgrades are available that provide you with even more features.

I have used 1&1 MyWebsite for over 5 years now and it is one of the best decisions that I have made. It is very easy to make and keep up-to-date a website for my business. I make changes to the site weekly and it has never let me down.

I wish there were more ways to individualize my website so that I could easily move different text boxes to anywhere on my web page instead of them having to be in a specific location.

I like that it is an Easy way to track updates and payments for website if you're using your phone instead of PC. Make changes to your website as well as have access to customer service. It comes free as long as you already paid for webhosting with IONOS

They have a lot of features, and can get you up and running fairly quick, albeit not the fastest. Do your research.

I did not like their customer support response times or resolutions. I was locked out of an account for some time. Their dashboard was hard to use. We don't use them anymore. It is clear they spend more on advertising than to making a better product.

This is an intuitive WYSIWYG builder for the most part. It definitely has its limitations but it's simple enough for a beginner.

Limited fine-tuning controls such as HTML & CSS access. Server-side limitations & restricted source code access with this builder leave a lot to be desired. And, if you decide to cancel the monthly subscription it breaks your website.

IONOS provides very easy to deploy WordPress hosting. Their managed WordPress hosting takes care of everything you have to manage about your website that you have only to worry about the content of it. Performance of the websites hosted on IONOS are very good.

Even though their pricing is cheaper compared to other services, they have added extra expenses for SEO without informing the user. It would be good to inform the user about extra expenses before charging the money.

The website builder was easy to use for people that do not know how to code a website, but it was very slow loading.

My website went down a lot when I was with 1and1 and there was nothing Support could do about it, super frustrating.

I like that 1and1 is fairly easy to use, and that it has a fairly low TTL for DNS record changes. It's a solid web hosting platform that allows several sites on an account. It's also not too expensive.

There aren't many cons to this platform. I think the website look could be updated since it is somewhat outdated, but the functionalities are still good.
