It is like using software from the 1990s. This is great to use because you do not need a landline but they need to add functionality such as taking a credit card in the field or in the store without an internet connection.
Pros
I like that I can take payments via my ecommerce website.
Cons
I cannot input a custom note to the customer. I have to have too much info to run a credit card such as billing address. This is very cumbersome. I need to have a credit card swipe to bypass having to key in a lot more info. I have asked customer service about this and they say someone will call to discuss but that has never happened

I wish it had a better donor / CRM system. I haven't figured out how to integrate it or optimize it with my donor CRM on my website. Also the fee is higher than other payment systems like PayPal

Stripe makes handling online payments very easy. The integration is smooth, especially if you have a developer who knows their way around APIs

t can get pricey, especially with high transaction volumes, and small businesses might feel a bit overwhelmed by the technical setup. Also, you need someone who knows their way around tech to unlock Stripe's full potential.

I use Stripe for customer payments, and overall they are good and easy to use. No fuss, and nothing ever goes wrong.
Pros
Stripe Billing is fairly easy to use and can be integrated with other software, to make the process a lot quicker and easier.
Cons
The fees for each card payment aren't always clear; there's a fee for using stripe and then a tax fee on top of that. The User Interface isn't the best, and looks quite outdated, but it does the job.

I switched to stripe from my previous payment processor and haven't looked back since. I thought there was going to be a ton of HTML coding involved, but the stripe client portal made onboarding new clients and transitioning my existing clients super simple.
Pros
Stripe does not have a user cost. The only fee's are the processing fees per transaction. I also really enjoy the dashboard- so much data for the average user.
Cons
The size of the stripe platform seems to scale for major corporations, as a one man business, I wish I could scale down the features to de-clutter my platform.

It's the set-and-forget kind of thing, once you set it up the first time, you might as well leave it there and never get back to your dashboard.
Pros
It's extremely user friendly and you can get started in no time, it's unlikely you won't find the UI easy to use and intuitive if you have a little bit of experience. Besides, you can integrate it with just about ANYTHING and that's a huge plus because of the versatility it allows. I don't really use the invoice customisation, but I tested it and it's a breeze.
Cons
Maybe there are not too many payments methods available. I also think that, if you don't have any experience with payment/billing/invoicing platform, the learning curve could be a bit steep.

Stripe Billing is the best way to start receiving payments from your customers via online. It does have a powerful dashboard full of features, a great customer service to guide you through any circumstance you need help with. The payouts are consistent, and I find them to be the best alternative in the market after trying different providers.

Cons
The fees might be any lower than they are. 2.9% plus $0.3 plus 0.5% per recurring payments, increase the prices considerable, without counting on the federal taxes.
Reasons for Switching to Stripe Billing
Stripe is easier to configure, does provide better customer support, the API and dashboard are way better than all those alternatives, and the features overall go beyond than the ones offered by its counterparts. Mostly great, like I said, the learning curve isn't the shortest, but as they have lots of options (that, after going through that learning curve you'll find they're needed in order to give your customers the best options and support) you'll be able to offer a great service for your clients, no need to get in trouble with clients because of the payment gateway.
Pros
They take privacy in a very serious way. And they know their product is used mostly by developers, so their site has plenty of support, examples forums and every kind of resource that makes it easier for developers to implement payments on any platform. Also, they have options to manage clients and subscriptions that can be billed for in a fixed period of time, give them free trials, etc. Their commissions aren't the cheapest, but I consider they aren't also very expensive.
Another thing that we liked is that they keep developing their offer, like accepting payments via convenience stores (currently in beta while i'm writing this review)
Cons
It has a big learning curve. At first it's difficult to get familiar with all the concepts they use for their different parts of the process, I wasn't able to find a simple tutorial on their site (found some in external sites).

Stripe offers a straight forward billing and invoicing system. The verification process is two questions and from there one can take accept payments. Some of the payment options are ACH, bank, and credit cards. The payout is usually two days.
Cons
Sometimes there can be a delay in the verification process.

I am very happy with my overall experience. The ease of use and Stripe Express app are the two aspects that have made my experience with Stripe so beneficial!
Pros
I really like how easily I was able to integrate it with Carepatron so my virtual clients could pay for services online. I also like how effortless it is to both use and also customize invoices. One of my favourite features is the Stripe Express app that allows me to keep track of sales and also see trends over various periods of time.
Cons
The only small issue I have had with Stripe is processing some debit cards due to how it is integrated with my booking platform. Aside from this, it have been effortless to use and very beneficial for my online practice.

We use Stripe to manage our SaaS monthly subscriptions. What I like the most about Stripe is all the metrics that we have that is accurate data like CAC, LTV and churn rate.
Cons
I used to dislike the interface, it was a total mess (always a problem when you have many features) but since they released a couple of days ago a new interface with a lateral side bar, it's way better!

This was our first time setting up a new business and we were completely clueless as to what we were doing. we scheduled a demo, held video conference call with company rep and she answered every single question and provided additional details we hadn't even considered. We have experienced ZERO problems with this product.
Cons
As it has been our first time using a product such as this, we have nothing to really compare it to. It is a little confusing how the "security holding account" was set up and were told after a certain period of time the percentage of withholding would drop but haven't seen it yet.

I would say I am very satisfied so far and glad that we switched to stripe! Making integrations from online payment forms is also a great feature that I love. I have and would keep recommending this platform to other business owners who want peace of mind in terms of keeping track on their revenue!
Pros
I really like how organized it is! From the dashboard to pulling up individual clients' profiles. History checking is great too making sure we don't miss any payments made whether they went through or got declined. Updating subscription with proration charge calculation is also very helpful -- one feature we didn't have from our previous vendor.
Cons
I would say I am have not tried adding a note to a specific charge or transaction-- it would have been nice to have this feature added in the future as it will be easier to back track why a certain amount was charged if there's an inconsistency with the regular pricing. This would really make a difference rather than going back and forth with our CRM to check for notes.
