Other than the completely inefficient way to add providers to practices it's wonderful. I think the provider portion of it is amazing but being able to add new practices need a lot of work.

Pros

it's very good at keeping things in order and being able to have information filtered to multiple spreadsheets

Cons

There's no bulk adding. When adding a new practice I need to add providers and I can only scroll through the first 200 alphabetically. If I type in one providers name and click on them it will erase if I search for another provider. We have practices (ER's and Urgent Cares) with over 300 providers and when I open a new practice it could take me an entire day to add providers because I have to add them one at a time.

* Monthly application updates. * Communication about why an error occurred and how it was fixed when submitting a Support Ticket. * Integration does not work as expected for background checks - still a work in progress - we were told it was like a 'plug and play' integration (turned on in May 2024). A ticket is placed and will be placed into Production 10.16.2024 to hopefully fix the latest issue. * Lack of guidance and education to audit our Perf Priv module during project development/rollout. That project started in July 2023 and is not yet functioning.

Customer service is very unhelpful. you send a ticket in about an issue, they look at it, think they've solved the issue and close the ticket out before even discussing it.
The saving of the verifications when working expired/expiring documents is time consuming. it takes each one at least 30 seconds to finally save and if youre working on 100+ items that need to be verified, it adds up.

Pros

It does help with getting expirables done quicker

Cons

it will continue to try to verify places even though I've dated it in the WorkFlow that its been reviewed/verified

My experience overall has been great.

Pros

I like the ease of using CS. I appreciate the V-Source that provides a base to modify for own use.

Cons

There are still some areas within CS I would like to see implemented. For example, more automation with different folders of a provider's record. Being able to prepopulate areas based on another area (reduce redundancies). Some support needs to be worked on. I have had cases closed without me testing first to make sure this meets the need. At times it doesn't and when I reach back out I never get any response.

Pros

I really do not like this system. After working with MD Staff from a previous job this system is not as good of a credentialing system.

Cons

The way the verifications are done/not done, the fact that it is not user friendly, uploading documents.

Initially I was told all loading of the system was done on their part, found out I had to load all maniually. When trying to load the spreadsheet not all the data was accepted and mulitple data points had to be entered manualy. When providers could not upload their information or fill in the sections for onboarding was unseccessful, I reached out and was told it was not the system. Several times the provider tried and still not working and I am still getting told no issues.

Pros

The expirable tracking abilities work well.

Cons

Providers cannot load data when they try so onboarding has not been successful.

Initially I was hoping a full electronic process would speed up and simplify my daily tasks, but the multitude of steps has just increased it. The time it took to train, transfer data, build privileges, and get acclimated to workflow processes was unbelievably stressful. The inability to work with providers in correcting privileges is frustrating for the provider and the MSC.

Pros

CS does allow faster review by physician reviewers in the Appoint Template.

Cons

Data integrity following migration from our CVO's former database was lacking and there were no reports set up to test out any variances in data for each facility in our health system. For example. We had many incorrect license institutions pull in and they had to be dealt with 1:1 rather than having a standard license report we could run to determine at-a-glance which provider records had incorrect data; or a batch update process to correct those areas. This should be standard on all databases. The program seems to break with every update, verification plug-ins disconnect, Standards of Practice processes seem to change at every turn. Duplication of data entry fields is ridiculous. Board certification verifications are frustrating especially those under Internal Medicine.

I really did not like anything about it but I never truly used it as our training. kept getting interrupted and we finally stopped training.
