Proctorio is very functional and works like a charm in most things. Proctorio keeps tests secure and monitored the students clearly.

Proctorio can sometimes “bug out” with chrome and have issues starting and functioning during tests. The issues are few, but can cause devastation for some students.

It allows me to take my tests anywhere any time

It feels invasive. I'm worried it is watching my apps all the time.

What I love about Proctorio as a user is that it allows me to take exams anytime and anywhere through online proctoring. It makes testing much more convenient and less stressful.

Sometimes the Proctorio extension won't show up when I go to take the exam, but once I remove the extension and then redownload it to my browser it works great!

The aspect I like most is the ability to test remotely and without another person present. I have test anxiety and using this program I know the rules and what to expect without variable from human error.

I think the worst part about using this software is that when trying to take an exam, you must be on a specific type of internet connection. I always have problems when using a hotspot like used with cell phones. I found this is because the IP address is not a static IP and is tied to a location.

The integration of the product as an add-on to my browser makes it very accessible and easy to use. The screen recording and proctoring functions of Proctorio have enabled me to participate in exams that I would otherwise need to schedule and appointment and move my schedule around for. It also allowed me to complete my degree during a global shutdown when everything transitioned to online.

There were times when I would have to uninstall and reinstall the software because it was not activating properly. Otherwise the actual function works quite well.

This software is largely easy to use on any computer, quick to install, and straightforward in install and set up.

Their customer service is terrible. Students are directed to contact them directly for tech support, and when I reached out letting the team know I was facing an issue and had attempted all basic troubleshooting, they told me they didn’t know how to help further and closed the chat. Luckily I had another computer on which to take the test, but had I not been so fortunate I would have failed the class in question.

I likes that Proctorio offers a way to take exams in the comfort of your home and gives your professors the confidence of a testing center. It us an easy way to regulate testing.

If you do not have a proper internet connection Proctorio will not work. You need to have a land line connection, it cannot be a phone or satellite connection to the internet, which is frustrating.

Proctorio is well-designed, easy to use, and student friendly. The required Chrome extension is easy to install and non-invasive. The company's privacy/security policies are very transparent and written in plain English. Students rarely run into technical issues, but if they do, Proctorio support is readily available via chat. Overall, compared to competing products, Proctorio does not add stress to the test-taking experience for students.

The tools for instructors to review students' recorded test sessions are a bit unintuitive for some instructors.

It is easy to take a college exam. A few clicks, and you are ready to start the exam.

I have to rescan my id every time. I would love it would save it for me.
