I illustrate this experience with the significant types of projects where Omniscope is used:
1) European research and innovation project for the analysis and comparison of police forces in 16 European countries
2) Project for the analysis and fight against illegal traffic of illicit material through the detection of trafficking networks
3) Tool for the development of deep learning algorithm test sets
4) Profitability simulator for maritime container transport
5) Creation and monitoring of performance indicators for complex programmes
6) Cigar cellar inventory management and taster preference analysis tool
Pros
The simplicity and efficiency of the tool, which is consistent in all phases of processing from data extraction to visualization for a common user or an expert
Cons
Since 2011 when I started using Omniscope, there were flaws that relegated the tool to a small world of fans passionate about its simplicity and extraordinary processing speed. Today, the architecture gaps for its integration have been filled, Visokio had the courage to rewrite its engine to definitively erase the youthful flaws. Today, the product is at its best.

Ergonomics and simplicity of the dashboard, processing power and speed of execution, good support to make the product evolve, coherence on all the modules of the processing chain, and above all the quality of the concept of the data handling and analysis model which still gives Omniscope a visible advantage until today- Industry: Information Technology & Services

Great tool for making and publishing dashboards. Very easy to use. This is a good option if you don't know any programming language.
Pros
Great dashboarding options, possibility to incorporate R and Python into workflows, handy scheduler, easy to use.
Cons
Data processing is somewhat restrictive because functions are generally only designed to work elementwise.
Sometimes buggy (but great customer support).

Awesome data flow tool with the ability to efficiently analyse data and create advanced metrics. Customisable dashboarding tool to visualise the data for clients and internal stakeholders.

We use Omniscope a lot, and would recommend it to anyone working with multiple sources and complex data structures.
The heavy users of Omniscope within our company are not nerds at all, yet what they deliver is high-quality on a nerdy level!
Pros
Very intuitive software, especially the new EVO. Tens of millions of datarows are processed within seconds.
From source to report and visuals that match my company branding, or the branding of our clients.
New functionality is developped and added on a regular basis.
Cons
New functionality also means a lot of new versions.

Reviewed on 2024/05/30
Pros
