2. You can easily fetch data for the number of internal links that each of your web pages is receiving. The more the number of internal links the more SEO value a page gets. Based on this data, you can easily alter your web architecture to pass the maximum number of internal links to your key landing page.
3. You can check all the images which has missing alt tags
4. You can find duplicate content pages on your website
5. You can check pages with missing meta title and description
6. You can check pages with duplicate meta title and description

I needed to pull real-time crawls of extensive client sites. The free plan allows 500 URL's, which is a good start for small sites, but the Unlimited access from a paid plan is essential for any mid-size or enterprise sites.

Easy data export into CSV for documentation or graphical manipulation. Super simple interface and navigation that isn't bloated with design complexity.

Some data fields could have include a better description of what they are pulling for values. A simple question-mark adjacent to the field would help, rather than having to hunt down documentation on their site.

The user-interface hasn't been updated in ... well, ever. That could be improved, though I like the simple aesthetic, which I'm sure helps the application run quickly.

It is really very helpful, there is no downside or cons to this amazing SEO tool.

The best thing I like about screaming frog is its ease of use and speed. It gives a lot of technical SEO issues with all the details and their solution as well. Many of those issues other tools cannot detect, like HSTS security issues and more. For me, it's a must-have tool for a technical SEO audit.

Sometimes it does not reflect the changes even if the problem is solved on the website. Due to that, I had to re-run the tool multiple times. It happens frequently.

Screaming frog provides such an in-depth data about your website. And it is very convenient to extract large amount of data very quickly.

There are a lot of functions that you can use which is a little overwhelming in the beginning until you get used to it but if you have certain things you repeatedly use, it is relatively simple.

Screaming Frog is powerful crawl tool that you can crawl your website of any corner.

I dont have any bad experience while using Frog, it is cheap and useful.

Fantastic crawling tool, with excellent API access to some of the most frequently used tools for any SEO. Advanced search and extraction features make it all all the more useful for site scraping.

Data exports can be a bit clunky, and Screaming Frog tends to choke on hugely massive crawls, compared to some of the competition.

This is one of my favorite, go-to SEO tools. I like that I can crawl an entire website (either a customer or competitor) and get a complete picture of on-page SEO. I can find the title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, on-page copy, canonicals, and so much more. With this information I can figure out how well the site is doing with their technical SEO. With many of the new features they've rolled out (duplicate pages, grammar checks, and more) the tool continues to get more and more valuable.

It would be nice if there were a couple options to graphically represent the data in a CSV, but that's more of a "nice to have".

So, there is many things that i personaly like to use in screaming frog seo spider, one of then is finding broken URLs and Image Alt text, this is the only tool in my experience that shows CSS, JavaScript, ahref and every type of broken link in the website.
Also we can extract the list of URL into excel that makes works more easy.

As such my bad experience with screaming frog seo spider is that the tool is not on cloud. I keed to install it's software in my system that makes work very hard, as sometimes while auditing the website system got hanged and due to which my audit skip, there many other problems that i am facing with the software.

That you can crawl pretty fast your own but also competitor websites and get all the relevant on-site insights you need with just a few clicks. A short while ago they also added nice visualization features.

I really cannot say here anything negative, even if you reach out to them when you have a question they are super helpful. Maybe that it will take some time if you are new to the tool, to explore all the features they offer.

This tool never fails to amaze me with its crawling feature and providing the website audit so that we can find broken links, redirects and then optimize the same. Analyzing competitors website with this tool is much easier with Screaming frog.

I would really appreciate if this tool improves it's user interface. Also, it should include other features of SEO also.

Although Screaming Frog SEO Spider looks dated when you open the interface, it works like a beast. Functionality that I didn't have in SEO Tools for Excel or other tools are here, so I've got what I need in all my tools with Screaming Frog in my toolkit.

The interface is really old fashioned. You can see it's a tool by developers, for developers. But if it works, it works. Right?

Also, some functionality and settings are somewhat cumbersome.

Free for use for websites under 500 pages. This software has a lot of features that's every SEO guru need to use.

I wish they had easier guides on how to filter pages and how this tool can help SEO (Case Studies). Can't complain about other options.

Screaming Frog is the best technical data crawling and audit tool for SEOs. You can crawl your website and check how's your website doing in terms of technical SEO standpoint. If you're a technical SEO, this is a must-have tool. The free version is adequate for getting started. In fact, if your website has less than 500 pages, you're good to go with the free version. If you want advanced functionality and own websites with thousands of pages, you should get the paid version, which is an excellent value for the price.
