Spark has been a great support to our school. The customer service is friendly and provides you with tools that will allow you to report an issue clearly so they can better help get it resolved. They will take the time to walk you through the software, even after the onboarding session.
The owner actually got to know who we were and what our goals were and with that information, he suggested what features we should take advantage of in order to help those goals. I have worked with several other software companies that provide the same type of software, but none of them have come close to the type of software and the customer service behind it, that Spark does.

Pros

It is hard to pick out one single thing that I like 'most' about the software. If I have to pick one thing out, it is the fact that it is constantly evolving based on two factors, industry trends, and customer necessities. Spark software is always listening to what its customers need in order to keep them working forward. Unlike most software companies of the same type of product, which only quarterly or semi-annual upgrades, Spark makes new feature releases as soon as they are ready to make sure their customers get the needed tools for their success.

Cons

The only thing is the initial start-up on the software. Because there are so many things it can do, it starts off a bit difficult to navigate to get to the things you want. This is why I HIGHLY recommend you take full advantage of their onboarding program. It's free and it will allow you to better know the software.

Spark helps keep us focused more on our classes and curriculum and less focused on collecting billing, missed payments, and constant repetitive communications. At the same time it allowed us to offer a better user experience when purchasing our products and services via Spark's checkout pages.

Pros

The automation features and flexibility is great. We have automation for leads but the true power is having them for different ranks. When a student is close to needed gear or weapons at a specific rank, we have Spark sent them an email introducing what they will need and a link to a checkout page to order it. Once this was set up, we stopped thinking about it.

Cons

I'd wished the POS system and Checkout Pages were linked somehow. This is a minor issue and we have easily worked around it.

Pros

The ease of use and functionality makes Spark a no brainier.

Cons

Can sometimes freeze and be buggy with payments. I wish had an event page builder.

It's very straightforward and easy to use. It has multiple features that are key to managing a martial arts school.

Cons

Some of the automations have grammatical errors or are not written professionally.

I use this for my son's martial arts classes, easy to use, great tool to see weekly calendars, sign up, program management

They go way above and beyond. Had nothing new been added over the last several years I would still be happy with the product, however they have added and continue to add new features faster than I can implement them, and the price hasn't increased.

Pros

The best thing about this software is the people who develop and run it. If I had to pick a single area that spark has excelled for me it is keeping the small things from slipping through the cracks while spending less time than I used to.

Cons

It took me a while to figure out how to best use some of the features.

The customer service is fantastic! The team responds in minutes during business hours. When questions come up that need changes or assistance the team works to resolve in usually hours, and for more complicated requests several days. The support from [SENSITIVE CONTENT] with the various calls walking me through the set up process made setting up the account possible. I am able to track my business in one location, and also appreciate that new features and services are constantly being added.

Pros

The software is pretty comprehensive and makes it easy to manage all aspects of my business. I like the ease of pulling reports, and immediate notification for new memberships, as well as the user friendly interface on the dashboard. In addition, the self help videos help address any questions immediately so there is no down time waiting on someone to help.

Cons

As a non-traditional user. We are not a school, but are a membership organization, there are several features that we need that we have had to do "work arounds" for. Most have been addressed but there are a few opportunities left.

They helped me save time and money.I never used credit cards before for business.I started making money right away.

The Phone app is the only thing that seems to have some isssues.
