I get to search for specific commercial jobs that our company is specifically interested in. With the filters you can apply, we get to avoid any potential jobs that we are not interested in doing, including in the geographic areas we specifically work.

When you are using the search function; unless you specifically type in the title of the project the way it was entered on the other end, you will not be able to find that project. For example, if you are interested in looking for a specific T-Mobile project. If you search Tmobile without the hyphen, the project will not show up. And vice versa; if the human being uploaded that T-mobile in the system and they did or didn't use the hyphen. Depending on how you search it, you won't find it. If you mispell a project, it will simply say it doesn't exist. So there needs to be an improvement to the software such that any version of the spelling you type in will show up.

I really like the user friendly aspect of it, great customer support team, happy customer have used them for years.

They dont have a on-screen take-off module with it

I like that it opened up more opportunities for me to have visibility to that I may not have seen otherwise. It's nice to have another resource to try and identify and pursue biddable projects through.

It can be tricky to find a project I viewed previously sometimes. It is also a bit awkward to access projects the way it is currently configured. Once your in the opportunity its laid out well.

I've noticed a very low close rate from projects that I've identified on this service. It is also hard to get any type of response from the GC's asking for quotes. Maybe my type of business just isn't aligned properly in regards to what we are targeting: Large Multi-Family and other big scale commercial projects.

This PlanHub has every type of work wanted, I bid on various locations and select Private work ONLY as I stopped dealing with UNION or Government Project. Other Companies I have to pay for evry city another fee if I wan to see what bids are out there. Planhub I can see NYC Long Island all of Nj where I want and it does NOT cost arm and a leg as I used to pay.

If they have Electronic take-off software with it would have been GREEEAAT

I like the ease of use and the info provided the most.

The mobile version of it needs improvement.
In the past, I couldn't upload bids at all using my phone.
Some changes were made and I can submit bids now from my phone...but, the layout is still scrambled a bit when using a phone.

Ease of use. Also most of the GC's we work with use this system. Very user friendly.

Ability to find listed projects. If the exact name of the project is not entered, the system won't find it.

Search Function, trying to find jobs that you know are in there but you dont have the name right

I like how readily available new jobs and contacts are we have had more exposure since using, the ease of use, and placing a bid can be done through the site. I like being able to contact general contractors and ask questions through the site. My favorite aspect is that it will show other GCs on the project even if you didn't receive the invitation from them that way I can bid to more than one company on a job. I also like the cost of this site is very economical compared to other sites that can be pricey and offer the same information.

My least favorite parts are how the drawings are listed on the site sometimes in single mixed up pages, even though that may be how they were loaded and not the actual sites issue. I also don't like how the bidding format is set up. We customize bids per contractor just as far as the company name so I have to load and send bids one at a time instead of in a group, but I do like that I can send them through the site.

Organization of bids, many subcontractors are on board.

Some items should be hyperlinks and they are not. Trying to get to a company shouldn't take as long as it does. Ease of use should be a focus. It takes too long to set up a project. Instead of having one long list of scopes to check off, it should be selecting a division and a drop down menu or something should come out and select from there. As it should be comprehensive, the speed and ease is what will separate it from others. I get too many calls from subs saying their subscription ran out and I need to send them the drawings. A different style of payment options should be considered.

seemed easy to use, but that was because, from what i could see, it did nothing.

It just showed the name of the project and what trades may be involved, but no information about the project. They sent me an email asking me to bid, but they had no plans or specs on the web site to base a bid on.

What I like most is they are always up to date on the projects coming through. We are notified of any status changes. If I have any questions I can email some of there reps and they reply within a couple of hours if not less. Great customer Service.

Nothing. Everything I need is there and any suggestions I have asked for I was catered to.

It allows me to receive RFPs that I would never have known about.

I would like more sections of industry to better tailor the RFP requests to my companies needs. I receive a lot of requests that don't fit our industry.

I like that there's a wide variety of subs to access and reach out to.

Lack of ease of use; efficiency issues; does not have functionality to save category selections as templates; doesn't save or show history of "Post Update" notes so it's difficult to keep track of what's been communicated and when.

Activity and Status Tracking: It would be very helpful to be able to "print" or download selected subcontractor lists as CSV files ( with Columns for Company Name, TRADE or Division, Contact Name, Contact E-mail, Contact Phone Number) rather than as a PDF document.

Ease of use. Does a good job connecting me to bids in my specific area and my specific field.

Nothing negative to say about it. Doing exactly what we need--connecting us to a lot of relevant construction projects. Suggestion: I would like to connect to projects further upstream in the design phase (ie: owners, developers, or Architects).
Secondly: It would be nice to be able to get a regional targeted mailing list.

I like the way you get the updates so fast.
The information is very complete.

I get so many emails from so many different companies for the same project instead of have the all on the same one email. Now this doesn't happen all the time but, it sure makes it difficult when you have to go back and search all your emails to submit the bids.

Ease of use, very user friendly. Contains almost all the project details you would need to know.

Not much negative to say at this point, its a good system, just when you bid you are not sure how many others you are up against for the project.

Starting in the industry I was sometimes stuff in ideas how to get new clients, with plan hub it has opened up many doors for great business relationships.

The only thing I had my doubts in where it was geared towards the product we hd the time. We've since then added more product and it has open the door for many more plans / bids for us.

The software is easy to use but still learning what it can do.

Difficult for the organization to see who is working on which bid. If there was a Bid Organization feature like Building Connected it would be more valuable resource.

Contractors Network makes it easy to receive invites

The fact they don’t allow you to download drawings even when you are invited by a GC, price is way to expensive we get many invites daily tru other services where we are not even a member and are allowed to download without any problem.This people is just greety.

Having multiple offices, the coverage across multiple states

Not catching all general contractors bidding on a project.

The software is free and for that it has value in helping to increase bid particpation. Also alot of small subcontractors use it so it has a good outreach.

The software does not list contact information for the subcontractors it uses. It is choppy in execution and the layout or breakout of packages for bidding is complicated and convoluted. This is a secondary software that is used in conjunction with more refined tools.

The software itself is easy to navigate and to understand. It compiles a great number of opportunities into one place. It is a great way to find potential clients and get in front of them.

The software/website itself runs slowly most of the time, especially when selecting a project or after having deleted one from the list. The Google Map feed rarely loads. It takes me more time to curate through the types of jobs that we don't do than I usually spend downloading plans. I wish there were a "ignore refit/upbuild/renovation" sort of option. I'm also not a fan of continuing to get email updates about projects after I've indicated that we will not bid them.

The organization of the platform features and quick access to plans and specs makes using the software easy and enjoyable. Most of our GC's are utilizing PlanHub for their projects and invitations to bid are guiding us to us PlanHub.

There are no items we don't like our feel have been left out that we wish were included. All the standard features are mission critical for us to complete estimates and submit our bids on a timely basis.
