As long as you're getting your money's worth out of the monthly fees, this is a great piece of software for direct sales, but if you're not sure you're going to use it all, do some shopping around to make sure that this is the best deal first. It's truly a great tool; I just wish the unused texts rolled over from month to month, even if there was a cap on how much could be accumulated.
Pros
It was very easy to put together a text campaign, upload the information & store the contact information, and send out tailored messages. This is the one software I found that truly met all of my business needs.
Cons
After not conducting campaigns for a couple months in a row, it was time for one with over 2,000 recipients. I was really looking forward to leveraging all of the functionality associated with EZ Texting. However, when I logged in to my account I realized that my unused messages did not carry forward from month to month. While that is in the disclosure (I found it when I went back looking for it after the fact) I was very disappointed that I'd just wasted several months of money. I was ready to recommend the software for use across our company, but this drawback had me quickly reconsidering the recommendation.

Overall it's a great software for people to text into and enter into your system. This has allowed us to capture more of our people's information and move them along our different process queues.
Pros
I like that we can lump different people into groups depending on the information we need to share. This allows us to schedule the messages out ahead of time and make sure everyone is getting the most accurate information possible.
Cons
The software can get expensive if your needing to constantly send out weekly messages to mass amounts of people over 100. You would need to purchase more credits, and it can get expensive.

I can use the same set up on a daily basis.
Cons
When it is not uploading information correctly and I report it via text or form, I have never received a response. Eventually the issue is fixed but there is no interaction with a live man or woman available.

Pros
What I liked most about EZ Texting is how incredibly user-friendly and intuitive the platform is. It makes sending messages to large groups quick and straightforward, even for someone with limited tech experience. The simplicity of the interface really stands out, making it easy to navigate and use effectively.
Cons

-Price is high compare to other platforms...and agree to pay this price if my messages will be delivered, but...
-Bounce rate-50%, 60%, even if i know that those numbers are valid, because we are doing phone calls to our customers and communicate with them often (gym members). Those bad delivery rates company started to receive starting from November 2021.

We have been using EZ Text for a few years now. They are incredible for a small business trying to get into SMS. We have been able to implement so many texts, drip campaigns and reminders. All for an affordable price.
Cons
The only option I would love is a reminder text a day before a certain date and time.

The Easiest Way to Communicate

Pros
I have used this software before at my previous job, and when the opportunity came up at my current employer to use a text service for our marketing efforts EZTexting was my first choice. This software is extremely intuitive; you are able to communicate with thousands of people as personally and as you would one to one with your closest friends on your cell phone.
Cons
I honestly don't have anything negative to say about EZTexting - I love the service!

I highly recommend it. I have implemented it with other clients (I also have a small marketing agency), and it's perfect. There are not too many bells and whistles, which I like. It just gets the job done very efficiently.
Pros
It was very simple to setup and get up and running. Dumping our phone list was painless. I had our first text out in under 10 minutes. The reporting is almost immediate and keywords easy to implement. We use this in conjunction with a fraternal order and the golf league. It's ideal for keeping people informed and even the seniors have phones that receive texts. They love it.
Cons
I haven't found anything not to like yet. Easy, cost-effective and does the job.

At the time the price was right and it had the features I needed for a little project I was doing.
Cons
Adding Keywords are expensive and their forms are clunky. They also have horrible integration with infusionsoft.
I am about 3 months into an annual contract I will not renew the contract. If I could get even a partial refund I would get out now. There are simply better products out there with a lower price point.

I gave the value a 3; but only because the credits are use it or lose it.... Many months, I didn't have a need for the credits and other months I sure could have used more that I was allowed during a month... my contacting varies widely from month to month.

Pros
The ease of use for training less technical people on how to buy keywords is excellent. The API is great to work with as well.
Cons
The monthly cost of buying keywords gets cost prohibitive. I would love to have more keywords bundled in one price for campaigns that use the same keyword multiple times.

Cons
Customer service is severely lacking. If your needs are not the norm and work arounds are required, avoid the headaches and spend the money for a full service platform with great customer service.

If you need to send a marketing message, a coupon for tracking purposes, or want to hear back directly from your customers, this is the best software on the market for those needs! I suggest creating a campaign around texting and offer discounts and coupons with codes you can track to see when is the best time for delivery, etc. and that is so super easy with EZ!

This software is so very easy to use - for any level of marketing experience. Anyone trying to reach a mass amount of customers with one simple message should really consider texting software and EZ Texting is the best out there, hands down!

I love the ease of use of the interface, importing mass contacts, and the ability to export bounced messages.
Cons
I wish the platform made it a little more intuitive to add a new solo contact with additional information while composing a message. For example, when I type a new phone number, I'd like it to prompt me for the person's name and other information right from within the compose window.

Have used EZ Text at my previous company and my current one. Will continue to use them in whatever organization I find myself in. A must have for me and my team.
Pros
EZ Text makes it very easy to upload contacts, either individually or in large groups. Easily storable and setting up texts is a breeze.
Cons
The only downside is when you go to search historic texts, you can't filter to find a specific text which is a bit annoying.

Overall great; I feel I have simplified a process that I was spending way too much time on and I love that I can use QR codes and a cod word to sign folks up for updates.
Pros
Integration-uploading all my customers accounts from an excel file was easy. I love the template features and have started using my own QR code.
Cons
My only complaint is that when I got to start a new message (1 on 1), and I start typing the contacts name it will pull up everyone but that contact whether I capitalize their name or not. I always check if its spelled right and although it is it does not populate them. I have to copy their phone number then paste it into the contact bar then boom, their name pops up.

Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced

I purchased this software and created messages to send to family members to test the functionality. The software would show that the texts had been sent but no one ever received them. After numerous attempts to call the 800 number (no one will answer) and live chat (disconnected 4 times), I finally just asked to get a refund. The chat support person offered to cancel but they wanted to deduct the amount for the texts that never went through.
This is the most frustrating customer service or lack thereof that I have ever dealt with. If you are going to provide a service to organizations, you need to have a functional customer service department.

Pros
It was a rock solid performer and NEVER dropped any messages. We used a texting service that we found out the hard way dropped inbound texts whenever it became stressed. This was not the case with EZ Texting which has been solid as a rock in delivering messages.
Cons
It was not able to send follow-up messages linked to the original message.

It is definitely not the best option and is not a software we would ever suggest to one of our clients. Stay away from EZTexting go with another SMS service instead

Very simple interface to navigate. Getting setup takes a matter of minutes and is easy to jump into.
Cons
The Customer Support team is one of the worst I have ever experienced. The account rep who initially got us set up subscribed us to add ons we told him we did not want or need. We were unaware that the add ons were even there until we were hit with the bill and the customer support team told us they would not help and if we cancelled our accounts they would delete our credits if we closed our account.
The service itself is not great, the texting is difficult for customers to use and the software does not integrate into slack which would make responding to inbound texts easier. Stay away, and use something else.
