The overall quality of the videos recorded, I've tried several software, but none ofered the same quality.

I can't record the webcam in a different file, so it's difficult to edit without changing the scenes.

Powerfull, solid, video management solution easy to learn with a broad compatibility and clear operating logic

Some function could be easier and an internal virtual microphone could be an embedded solution (it's a common issue at firsts interactions)

I have been using OBS for 2 years and i have never faced any difficulties, comparing to other products OBS is the easiest and it doesn't require high performance machine.

honestly, I have nothing to complain about but he audio it can be improved I guess

Works very good if you set up your monitors and audio inputs and outputs

Is a little difficult to set up outputs when you use some monitors and audio devices, but once you set up them works great

The easy of use, the great tools and be able to work in any OS (Windows, Mac, Linux) and the vast amount of plug inn and add ons.

If you wana get the most of this software you must spend some time learning all the nice tricks and configurations to maximize the result

Easy and fast set up/installation, it's free, multi-screen recording, great audio and video quality.

Sometimes the video's size is too big for what I've recorded, which is usually not long times.

For screen recording with handson input and output, OBS is the solution to use.

OBS can take a lot of RAM and CPU to run and it can lead sometimes to frozen PC

I love that I can record my screen for free. The software has never crushed ever since I downloaded it.

The settings can be a little complex for me to use. It also doesn't record in mp4.

I can use OBS Studio to record my content and stream my gaming

The mobile app isn't very good and a bit difficult to use it effortlessly

It's the industry standard for a reason. Rock solid. Works fantastically in Linux. Integrates with JACK and Pipewire no problem. Also super convenient if I need to do a quick screen recording.

Three's not much to dislike about it. Sometimes it forgets my cameras though. That can be a pain.

It's free and it takes five minutes to set up with it's easy to understand interface. Best for streaming or recording screen captured footage and can be modified. Has a lot of advanced options for those who like to optimize.

Some features need other apps to stream though for stuff like video conferencing and streaming outside of sites like twitch.

The simplicity yet multiple features to record both audio and video. With the options of every source available to you, it makes it very easy to change the audio source or volume the quality of video and even the output and capture format.

Some of the features are not easy to understand the settings. Sometimes the capture starts then fails due to the wrong settings being chosen.

I mostly like that it is FREE. And is easy to use, don't have any of "pay to have" moments.
Doesn't ruin performance of device you are using, while recording. It is easy to setup, really customizable. And very streamer friendly! All good about this app!

Probably that new users can have problem with understanding Scenes and all that about making right scene to record or use. But thats is learnable!

OBS is free open-source software that is remarcable. I only use it to stream my student recitals to YouTube and Facebook and it always works. When I first started using it, it was a lot harder to use and not so user friendly but now it looks and feels more user friendly.

What I liked least about OBS Studio is that it can be hard to fine the setting that you are looking for and you must read or watch some videos to understand what it is you are looking for.

Personally, i love using OBS Studio because it has a very sleek, cool-toned user-interface and features that are very easy to understand and navigate through, especially for beginners. The one feature I particularly enjoy using is the camera switching mode. At times when I'm video-streaming my church service and trying to manage our social media pages at the same time; using OBS to switch from one camera to another works so fast and smooth. Takes me off panic mode while working.

So far, I have not seen anything to dislike in particular about OBS Studio.But I suggest that some animated text-input features should be added.

We as a business have to stream a preview of our new products on a time to time basis and OBS makes it just easy to screen capture, video capture, audio recording and also the integration to upload videos directly to YouTube is a plus feature. We have never looked at any other software after using OBS.

I can't think of any cons right now regarding the OBS Studio. It is a good software.

Easy and user friendly all rounder: streaming, video and audio recording, screen capture, video editing

I didn´t find any till today actually. Localization is not always correct, but it is not critical at all

When we need to push out video content that is guiding/assisting our sales staff with new processes, OBS makes it quite easy to achieve. After a quick 15 min crash course with our staff that want to use OBS, it is fairly easy to help them build and push out learning material for our retail team members.

It can be at some times a little tedious to use for particular users but nothing that can't be resolved over a quick 15-30min crash course on the proper usage of it.

OBS Studio is easy to learn and use, plus has lots of great features! I am able to capture relevant videos and import them and edit them to my taste!

There's nothing negative I can say about it considering its price! I don't know of any other open-source video software that comes close to OBS Studio!
