Great product that has been integrated into my e-commerce workflow.

Pros

The integration with 3D Cart makes it easy to pull up orders and auto fill data. It also goes back and marks the product as shipped in the 3D cart platform. I also like the ability to check multiple shipping options.

Cons

I wish it was able to pull from multiple queues in my 3D cart integration. It currently needs to be in my in process queue and it would be great if I could pull from other custom queues.

You can do this with the 3D Cart integration. Find the ID of the custom status that you want to pull into XPS (you need to find that in your site/database). Then you can go into the integration settings of your XPS account and put that in the field called "Pending Shipment Status Number."

Great shipping service!

Pros

This has been the best shipping service! It integrates from every location you have an online shop. No orders are lost because they are all in one location (when you log in to your account). I've only used their customer service once or twice because everything works perfectly, but when I did, they were fantastic! One rep even sent me an email from a customer before they had it set up for the customer to respond to me. That is amazing service!

Cons

The "cons" I had in the beginning have all been fixed and it helps me run my business like a well killed machine. I'm a loyal customer!

Pros

The integration with other platforms was good and made shipping easy.

Cons

Multiple times we have been slapped with fees on our packages. We ship a very consistent package size and rate. Unfortunately, USPS won't take the claim because we used XPS, and XPS states it is USPS's issue... So, we have lost $$$$$ due to "adjustments" that no one will take responsibility for. I have no way to refute them and no seems interested in helping. We have decided to leave XPS because i cannot risk paying twice for a shipped package with no support.

XPS has been a godsend to our small business and has handled our load as our number of shipments have increased over the last five years.

Pros

The integration with Amazon and WordPress is great and seamless, and the software just works. Technical support is always quick and helpful, and we've made several suggestions which have been integrated in to the site.

Cons

Some labels (FedEx and USPS International) don't fit our FedEx labels, ironically, and we have to hand edit the saved PDF copies of the labels to get them to print. But USPS labels (which is the bulk of what we ship) print perfectly and even have our company logo.

I was one of the first to work with the developers to integrate Wix and they were really great about walking me through set up and any trouble shooting. If I have any questions the tech team always answers in a timely manner.

Pros

I love that you can integrate your websites so the shipping addresses are all right there, you can check USPS, FEDEX, and UPS pricing all on one screen, and I can schedule the pick up from here also! It has saved so much time.

Cons

I wish it would allow multiple packages to be shipped to the same address

Very Good! When dealing with their subcontracted shippers directly--I DID get better pricing. However, I bill my customers profitably based upon my costs from XPS, so I do not lose. And, the Non-concern of these shippers, their inability to contact representatives on a timely basis, and poor communications service all make XPS worth far more.

Pros

It is easy to work, and I am not computer savvy.

Cons

I have challenged XPS several times to offer high value special handling as does UPS when the insured value is higher than $2000.00. UPS offers lock cage, and personal representative secure handling when a separate document is signed by the driver or receiving facility. XPS charges the same shipping costs- or even a bit higher for the same insured parcels---yet has no program that assures UPS drivers will sign a document--or even recognize a high value item. So, I lose valuable extra secure UPS handling when shipping high value items. Not apples and apples when it comes to Highly insured products. XPS has not resolved this issue. it is beyond their current capabilities. It remains unresolved, and puts my shipping of rare classic auto parts at some extra risk.

From the software to Customer service & Pricing, I, we are very happy with the product and service! NO Issues. And when there have been database, software issues, XPS would have answers to us within the hour or less, whether by email or by phone.

Pros

I really like the ability to customize Each Ship-To account to fit their package default needs. Importing addresses from the standalone USPS and UPS sites were quite accurate! Then theres the dozens of shipping options you can choose in an instant to compare best prices and delivery times for each client as needed. WE also send items Internationally, and ALL the forms needed are available to customize and Print....All with a "Click"!!! There is so much more to list. To sum it up, this software is quite user friendly, offering easy to See Navagation Menus and Tabs to ensure you know Where to ship, Where to Track, Easy to make changes, Easy to reprint and Void, Easy to choose Different Carriers and Box sizes and delivery times. And then Easy to print and select labels! Oh and one last thing....the Prices Are Really good for us!

Cons

Don't have any at the moment! We do not have any issues with the software.

We were recommended by USPS this solution as a way to have better pricing than our previous shipping solution. Not only did we save money, but we've saved countless hours in our workflow and have ensured that we are accurately quoting and charging for our shipping services beyond USPS.

Pros

We've saved not only time and money, but the headaches associated with tracking shipped items. XPS is an incredible piece of software to integrate into 3rd party solutions like WooCommerce. Its automation has reduced the steps we've previously had to go through by more than half—all while being a competitively priced solution. The best part is that we are no longer questioning if we're losing money on a shipment as its pricing ensures that we know the exact price to ship will be and quotes the customer accurately.

Cons

I'd like to further see integration with WooCommerce, specifically with "partially shipped" orders being marked as such. Would also like to see an admin side for our retail brick and mortar store to be able to estimate shippings costs like it does online.

Overall, a great service. I haad minor trouble setting up a new printer and the help desk was quick, polite and on the nose for the solution.

Pros

If you ship a lot via the Post Office, you will heap praise on XPS. They allow my business to access the lowest Priority Mail rate which saved a significant amount of money -- extra important when you're a small business.
We easily address, ship and track packages. Easy ability to copy the tracking number into our online software helps us exceed customers expectations.
Added plus is that you can compare carrier costs at a glance, making it easy to save shipping costs with minimal effort.

Cons

If there is one thing I'd add to XPS, it's be a consolidated rate reduction for FedEx or UPS, like they achieve with USPS.

I ship nearly all my international packages through XPS. Overall this is better than eBay and...

I ship nearly all my international packages through XPS. Overall this is better than eBay and Etsy’s shipping management options. I get frustrated with the abreviations and numbers associated with provinces around the world. Would be really cold if XPS can automatically convert provinces to the correct code.

Pros

XPS integrates with most shippers.
Can ship to any address in the world.
Works with UPS Mail Innovations Program.
Easy to login.
Does not time out and log you out for hours.
Fast knowledgeable customer service.

Cons

Some international countries have switched to province codes. These codes often do not auto update. I spend time searching google for province code numbers and abbreviations. Super annoying.
Old shipments that already shipped keep popping up in my need to ship cue. Super annoying.
XPS does not offer additional shipping discounts. In many cases I can get better USA shipping rates through my ebay and Etsy shipping manager. For these reasons I hardly ship US packages through XPS, just international.
Text is very light and hard to see. I have to adjust my screen brightness to make out the form fields and to find customers in the need to ship field.

My website platform is not supported for importing customers orders. Also I have to use Paypal/Shipstation for my First Class orders because they are much nmore cost effective than XPS

Pros

I like the porting of the addresses and it also marks my orders shipped and sends my customer the tracking # and adds it to the order history automatically.

Cons

The charge for using a credit card is a bit high. with that charge it cost more per month then stamp.com with there monthly charge. Also the printing of the scan form for the USPS I have to switch printer manually when stamps.com did it automatically. My company has always bought postage with our PayPal account and XPS can't set up an ACH with that account s I must pay 2.9% fee to use this service when stamps.com did not charge.

Pros

Easy to use and manage. My team's activity is transparent. Billing is easy when we set up auto reload. Love that we can determine the amount and get notified so that we can watch spending. Customer service has been out of this world during the few times that I needed to call in.

Cons

I wish that I could send first class flat envelopes with this service as well. That is a pain in my side, for sure.

Xps eliminated the option for a direct bank deposit of funds, this has created a negative impact on my business. Credit card is the option given and you now charge me 3% for credit card service charge. I am currently shopping for a new platform, you have lost my growing business in the very near future.

Pros

We use this mainly for USPS shipments. It makes it simple to check the pricing on different available packaging so you can see the cost right away. They also give a discount off of USPS shipments as opposed to shipping direct with them.

Cons

We use mainly for USPS. I find our own rates with UPS are better and comes out cheaper when we use our ow n UPS worldship.

Thank you, Elisa. Why don't you just integrate your UPS account into XPS? You will access your negotiated UPS rates just as you are currently, but you will be able to process USPS and UPS through your XPS account... use one user interface.

Would love to be notified if an order does not arrive to our customers so we can file an insurance claim to protect the customer & us at the same time.

I LOVE that this platform integrates my orders from BOTH Shopify & Etsy into one space. I have done some preliminary comparison and their prices meet or beat what Shopify offers.
I have recently learned about PirateShip from other small businesses and I will be doing a cost and usability comparison soon. Unfortunately, USPS keeps raising prices, which is difficult as a small business owner, but I feel that XPS Ship works with small businesses to be successful. I have recommended and referred this shipping platform to other small businesses.

Takes a lot of clicks to get what I want

XPS Ship helps us prepare our outgoing packages in our own office, skipping the lines at the post office & eliminating the travel time to send them off.

Pros

The layout is user friendly. We mainly use USPS shipping with our own envelopes for packages under 1lb so it works quite well for our needs. We appreciate the tracking feature which we provide to each recipient as soon as the shipment is booked. It is also helpful that there is an option to save addresses so we don't have to input data each time we send another package out to the same address.

Cons

Dislike having to pre-load a balance on to the account, or prepay so to speak, but once a credit card or account is saved in the system, it's not too much more effort having to keep reloading the balance.

Great to have multiple accounts in one dashboard for all of your shipping needs. Printing / tracking / estimating / integrating with Squarespace, etc.

Cons

I don't like that it charges a fee to use your credit/debit card to reload balance. I spent over a year reloading before I realized it was charging a fee each time built in before being told I could just switch to ACH withdrawal (routing/acct)

Using this software saves us money; we were spending $15 per month just to use the software of other competitors. We may have had to call the 1-800 help number twice since we started using the software and I like how they reach out to us to make sure we have no issues or problems.

Pros

Software is very easy to use and when I have a problem or issue, I simply call the 1800 help number. The software allows me to track a package, know when it was delivered, or if there is an issue in delivery.

Cons

I like everything about this product; I cannot think of anything that would be considered negative.

Pros

XPS Ship sets you up for fast and easy shipping. It allows you to focus on orders that are paid in full, integrates well with Shopify and Etsy thus eliminating manual data entry. My favorite feature is the shipping alternatives for each shipment. This showed me cheaper alternatives and has saved me money!

Pros

XPS offers all the features I need, and if I have feature requests or questions I can call them up and a real human always answers the phone to help me. XPS let me take my online store business to the next level.

Cons

There's nothing I dislike about XPS. It's truly a magical thing.
