Really happy that this product really does do what it says on the tin. i just need to conclude the purchase of the subscription and set up in order to get the "can opener" to access it fully.
Pros
As i'm in the process of setting up a one man micro "artisan" catering business specialising in "suitable for Coeliacs" food and also providing further options for omitting certain ingredients causing other allergies, i need to ensure that both i and the end customer knows exactly what ingredients are present and the nutritional values of the product etc giving the customer informed choice. i have developed, and will continue to do so , recipes that are almost indistinguishable from , sometimes actually better than their gluten containing equivalents , so being able to provide all the ingredients and information will give the customer confidence in a product that can actually taste really good so that anyone can and will want to eat and enjoy it.This a "must have"
Cons
I haven't explored all the features available just yet , so can't comment on whats currently missing. Once I'm in full production mode and stress test it fully, i will list all the Cons i find. But from what i have already experienced , other than a very slight internet lag, i really don't think i will find any "Cons" that would prevent me using this software to enhance the functionality and profitability of my start up. Watch this space. :)

The business is now fully compliant with all legislation & a complete costing of all recipes & products is in the system.
Pros
Kafoodle is very easy to use & once the recipe is in the system, you have full nutritional, allergen & food cost accuracy. Natasha's Law compliant labelling comes as standard with labels also showing full nutritional information. The very best thing is how easy it is to use! You need to write a recipe anyway, for costing, but once done on Kafoodle, you get so much more as well. And with a large library of existing recipes, it is very easy to adapt one to your exact ingredients.
Cons
That I didn't start using it sooner! There really is nothing I can fault Kafoodle on. And if I ever have got stuck, then the helpdesk team are brilliant.

I love the fact that you can do Menus, Labels, Orders, Recipes all in one place. It is a marvellous piece of kit and no business should be without it.
Pros
Being easy to use and able to print out labels containing all the information required that goes into the product so that if a customer has an allergy all customers can check and the catering staff are aware of all the allergens in the product.
Cons
I don't think I dis liked any of the software I think it is a very useful and informative piece of equipment , keeping catering staff up to speed with everything.

Menu consistency
Reviewed on 2022/11/08
Pros
We initially looked at Kafoodle due to the online ordering capability to allow us to operate a 'click & collect' service post after Covid lockdown. However, long term, we were also interested in software which could support us with allergy compliance ahead of Natasha's Law being introduced. Kafoodle gives us consistent information allowing us to display accurate menus with clear allergy details. It is very easy to use and implementation was simple
Cons
It is only as good as the information you put in. Keeping ingredients up to date can be a challenge as the supplier market moves so quickly

Good. I’m really pleased with the software and feel we made a good decision to go with kafoodle.
Pros
It’s pretty intuitive to use. Most of our staff have been able to pick it up quite easily.
Cons
I find sometimes when we make changes to recipes and save them, it doesn’t always flow through to the label tool immediately which drives the need for additional checking and sometimes re-printing of labels.

Pros
Great tool for managing our allergen tracking, reporting and compliance.
Cons
The UX is good but could be better and a lot of features we don't use make it hard to navigate around so would be great to be able to opt-out/switch off some of these.

Some teething issues and a bug found by myself that was but i must say, the support was excellent!
Pros
I deployed Kafoodle specifically to enable my operation to comply with PPDS. The software makes it easy for my team to correctly label products where I can be sure that our offering is complaint with legislation.
Cons
Being cloud based, the software can be a tad sluggish at times but this is not a big issue. The ordering of labels differs from that in a print queue which is annoying but again, it is not a deal breaker.
